Josh
slid his feet over her calves. “It’s not your fault.”

“Oh, I
know that, especially now.” She wasn’t sure how to explain what she was
feeling. She was sad, but not that sad. Upset, but not that upset. “Mostly I
just wish that Peter had been honest with me.” She sighed. “He didn’t have to
tell me what he was working on, just that he was coding a project for the
government. Why did he tell me he was an accountant?”

“I
thought you’d dated since college?” Josh asked, sounding confused.

She
nodded. “We knew each other in high school, actually. He was always into
computers, but he got his bachelor’s in accounting. He minored in computer
science.” She took a deep breath. “How could I have known him so long, and not
even realize he was lying to me?” She wondered if she was just that gullible.
Were Josh and
Troy
lying to her, too? And she simply couldn’t tell?

“Hey,
stop that. Stop second-guessing
yourself
,”
Troy
said, lifting her
hair to kiss her neck. “I would never lie to you. I’d be happy to show you our
entire office.
My apartment.
Josh’s
apartment, too.”

Josh
nodded. “Peter lying to you doesn’t make you a bad judge of character,
Felicity.” He tapped her foot with his to emphasize his point, face intent.

She
looked away. She wasn’t sure she believed him.

“No,
look at me, Felicity.” He nudged her little toe, making her smile at the
tickle. “Peter loved you, right? You were together a long time.”

She
nodded slowly, remembering her wedding. He’d smiled and told her she was
perfect. She remembered the expression on his face. “We were married a little
over five years.”

“Was he
ever an asshole to you? Did he forget your birthday? Make excuses for it? Was
he late all the time?”
Troy
asked, voice rumbling through her spine.

“No,”
she answered honestly, not sure where he was going with this. She fidgeted with
her glasses, readjusting them on her face. “He wasn’t like that at all. He was
always nice to me.”

“It
sounds to me as though he truly loved you, but knew he was working on something
that had the potential to be dangerous. He protected you the best way he knew
how, by not telling you about it,”
Troy
continued.

“That’s
dumb,” Felicity said, irritated. “I’m not a child. I wasn’t a child back then,
either.”

“Men do
dumb things all the time,” Josh said. “We get scared. We want to keep the
people we love safe, and that fucks with our judgment.”

“You
don’t seem to be having that problem,” Felicity said, remembering how they’d
fallen into each other’s arms last night. Neither man had seemed at all
hesitant to form a threesome. She struggled to explain what she meant. “What
we’re doing here,” she gestured to the three of them. “It’s not safe. People
aren’t going to understand.” That was why they’d let Charlie think Josh was her
boyfriend, and that
Troy
was just Josh’s friend.

Troy
sighed. “We know, but we’re willing to take the risk.”

Josh
lifted a finger. “That doesn’t mean we’re not going to be careful. And we’ll
probably act stupid sometimes, too. I don’t know what I’m going to do the first
time someone stares at us in public. If
Troy
and I are together—and we are, I don’t want to hide it.” He paused to smile at
Troy
. “I know we’re going
to get flak for it. It scares me.”

“Me
too,”
Troy
said.

Felicity
didn’t know how to respond.

“I
guess we’re just trying to say: be patient with us. We’re going to do dumb
shit, but we promise we’ll always make it up to you.” Josh smiled at her.

“Promise,”
Troy
added.

She
couldn’t help but smile back. Who could resist men who asked for forgiveness
before they’d even made the mistake?

Josh
rolled over on top of her, rubbing his nose over her neck. “We love you.”

She
fended him off, giggling. “I love you too, but I’m ticklish.”

“Good,”
Troy
said,
attacking her from the other side.

“Oh my
God,” she gasped suddenly when
Troy
slid down and mouthed over a nipple.

Mmmm
,” he murmured, licking until her nipple pebbled.

“Good
idea,” Josh said, doing the same on the other side.

Felicity
writhed under their hands, suddenly not as tired as she thought.

Troy
slid further down, between her legs. When he licked her clit, she bucked. Josh
grinned against her breast. “That feels good?”

She
nodded, trying to get
Troy
to do it again.

“I
wonder how it would feel with both of us down there,” Josh said, kissing down
her waist.

“Awesome,”
she managed to say. “It would feel awesome.” She urged his head down.

Josh
laughed against her mound.
“Yeah?”

“Come
on, Josh. She tastes wonderful,”
Troy
said against her sensitive nub.

She
sucked in a breath. “Please. Yes.”

Josh
licked the inside of her thigh. She angled her leg higher and all of a sudden
he was right there, lips next to
Troy
’s
on her clit.

God, that’s incredible
,
she thought,
then
words fled.

Josh
licked her delicately while
Troy
slid a finger inside, pressing up against her G-spot. She writhed as pleasure
rolled through her. It was so intense, and she was so close, that when
Troy
shoved a pillow
under her hips, she didn’t understand at first what was happening. When he put
his mouth to her asshole and began licking her there while Josh played with her
clit, she almost bucked off the bed.

Shh
, hang on, we’ll get you there,” Josh said, lifting his
face for a moment.

Felicity
couldn’t do anything except moan and thrash her head.
Troy
was still fingering her, licking around
her entrance. It felt amazing.

Josh
grinned, fingers busy with her pussy. Just when she didn’t think she could take
any more,
Troy
lifted up her legs. She heard the crinkle of a condom wrapper.

“She’s
ready,”
Troy
said.

Felicity
had no idea what he was talking about. She just wanted their mouths back on
her, but Josh moved away from her. “Come back,” she begged, clutching at him.
She opened her eyes just in time to see
Troy
rolling a condom down Josh’s cock.
God,
that’s hot.

“I’m
right here,” Josh said, positioning himself. He shoved inside her with one
quick thrust, and then stilled, panting. When he got control of himself, he
pressed close, rolling them onto their sides. “Hang on, Felicity.”

She
nodded, sweaty and desperate.
Troy
moved in behind Josh, and she suddenly figured out what was they were doing.
“Oh God,” she muttered when she felt him press in. They’d done this before, so
she knew what to expect this time, but it still felt completely overwhelming.

“You
okay?”
Troy
asked when he’d sheathed himself completely.

Her ass
burned, but she nodded frantically. She wanted this.
“Move.
Please, I need more.” She wriggled, desperate to feel them inside her.

“Yeah,
I agree,” Josh rasped, face pressed against hers.

Troy
exhaled,
his hot breath on her neck. “Okay.” He pulled
out a little,
then
thrust back inside. Felicity
groaned. He did it again, then again, and Josh began to move in counterpoint.
One cock slid past the other, both of them moving at the same time, but always
in opposite directions. The intensity of it made her go a little crazy.
Felicity couldn’t hold still. She didn’t know where to put her legs or her arms
and finally just hung on while the men grew increasingly more frantic.

“I’m
fucking close,
Troy
,”
Josh finally said

Troy
nodded against her shoulder. “Yes.”

Felicity
grabbed on and shoved down, and suddenly, both men were coming. She moaned as
the heat of their climax spilled into her. Josh shoved a hand down and tapped
her clit and she went over the edge, body jerking as the most intense pleasure
she’d ever felt in her life washed through her. It went on and on until she was
left panting between the two men, wrung out and completely exhausted.

“I
think we wore her out,” Josh said, kissing her gently.

Felicity
was too sleepy to respond.

“I
think you’re right,”
Troy
replied.

She
smiled and patted them, falling asleep between one heartbeat and the next.

Chapter
Thirteen

“You’re
dating both of them?” Sue’s voice was shrill.

Shh
! You don’t have to tell everyone in the entire office,
you know,” Felicity said, annoyed. It was the end of August and Felicity had
finally worked up the courage to tell a few people about Josh and
Troy
. Sue had met them
before, of course, but after the investigation following the discovery of the
flash drive and the reclassification of Peter’s death as a murder, Felicity
hadn’t had the time or energy to talk about her dating life. Every time Sue
brought it up, she’d changed the subject, until now.

“Too
late,” Vera said, popping her head over the cubicle wall. “You’re dating two
men?
At the same time?
Why the hell would you want to
do that? You’ll have twice the number of beer bottles and socks on the floor.”
The older woman shook her head.

“Twice
the amount of sex,” Sue said dreamily, tipping her head back against the
divider. She was sitting in Felicity’s extra chair.

Felicity
swatted her on the knee. “Is sex all you think about?”

“Yes.”

Felicity
had to laugh. “Oh please, wasn’t I just listening to you go on and on yesterday
about how you were never going to find true love?”

“I
would settle for amazing sex.”

“I
would settle for not ever having to have sex again,” Vera said, propping her
chin on the cubicle divider. “I dream about not having to share a bed.”

“I
thought you and your husband got along okay?” Felicity asked her.

Vera
wrinkled her nose. “The definition of getting along in our marriage is: he
steals the covers and I don’t murder him in his sleep.”

Felicity
grinned. “You had that huge party for your thirtieth wedding anniversary back
in February. I remember
Howie
kissing you in front of
everyone.”

“Oh
fine,” Vera complained. “Hold my urge to get a lot of presents against me. Go
ahead.”

“Didn’t
Howie
just send you flowers for your birthday, too?
What was that, last week?” Sue asked.

Vera
hmpfd
.
“You young girls, just wait. Pretty soon your guy will fart one too many times
and you’ll have to stifle the urge to shove him out of the car.
While driving.”
She sat back down, loudly shuffling papers
on her side of the cubicle.

Sue
chuckled. “Sometimes I want to shove myself out of bed, usually when I eat too
much Mexican food.”

“Did
someone say Mexican? I’d love a burrito for dinner,”
Troy
said, walking up to Felicity’s desk.

Sue’s
eyes grew big. “You didn’t tell me he was the same guy you got stuck in the
basement with!” she hissed.

Felicity
shrugged innocently. “Oh, didn’t I mention it?”

“I
could go for a taco,” Josh said, coming up behind
Troy
. The way their cubicles were arranged,
it wasn’t always easy to see who was coming around the corner until the person
was almost on top of their desk.

Felicity
grinned as Sue nearly choked when she caught sight of the guys.
They
were
pretty hot
, she mused.
I
can’t blame Sue for staring.

“Sue,
this is Josh and
Troy
,”
Felicity introduced the men.

“Nice
to meet you, Sue,”
Troy
said, holding out a hand.
