One heavy try's to move Jay shoots at
it but miss, the heavy pins down Babatunde. The last Son inside the
building try to fire at Andrea but miss. Maxim took aim at the
heavy that had Babatunde pinn down, kills it with a headshot.
Andrea fire back inside, killed other Son. “Hey Andrea, good
shooting.” Christian told Andrea.

Jay fire at another heavy, kills it.
Babatunde fire at the last heavy, miss. The heavy falls back.
“Don’t worry about it Babatunde.” Jay told Babatunde as he
reloads.

Andrea and Maxim go around the building
that the two sons was in while everyone else goes in it. “Don’t get
scared now.” Maxim told Andrea with a low tone voice so the enemy
won’t hear him.

Christian moves ahead to a door on the
other side of the room, found two heavies and a brute. “A brute?”
Christain ask in surprise. “Hey everyone I found an elite heavy,
let’s just call him a brute for now to make things simple and watch
your backs! He does not have any weapons on him?”

“
No weapons?” Jay ask in
confusion. “How is he suppose to kill us?”

“
Good question Jay, why
don’t you go ask him how he is suppose to kill us!” Maxim told Jay.
The brute gets really close to Christian.

Christian fires at the brute, does not
kill it. The brutes gets mad and yells at him. “SHIT!” He freaks
out and fire at it some more, Jay also freaks out and fires at the
brute but miss.

Babatunde fire at it, hits it. The
brute gets mad and charges at Babatunde. “This guy just won’t die,
and won’t stop charging.” Babatunde told himself in
shock.

Andrea storms inside the building,
killed the Brute. “Geeze Andrea, is that three in a row for you?”
Maxim ask in shock.

Andrea heads back outside, spots a tank
and a drone. The tank moves, jay fires at it but miss. “Cover me, I
have to reload my gun!” Andrea shouts out.

A heavy try to attack Jay from the
side, miss. Jay moves to cover and reloads. Christian ran outside,
found the tank. “Yep, thats a tank all right.” He quickly runs back
inside. Jay toss a grenade at the heavy, blows up his cover, did
not kill him, Jay freaks out and shot at Christian. “WHO FUCKING
SIDE ARE YOU ON JAY!” Christian told him as he felt the
bullets.

The heavy that Jay hurt came inside,
toss a grenade, hurt both Jay and Babatunde, destroying Babatunde
cover. Another heavy came in, killing Babatunde. Then the tank came
inside Maxim fire at the tank but miss. The tank shot at Marie but
miss, the drone try to move, Andrea fire at it and kills the drone.
Christian shot at the tank. Marie rushes outside. She fire at the
tank with her pistol. Maximum shot at the tank with his pistol from
outside. Jay fire a rocket at the two heavies, killing one but not
the other. One heavy from outside rushes in, the heavy that did not
die from the blast came next to jay, shot at him, Jay is barely
alive. The tank move around inside the building, killed Christian.
“Oh god, we are all going to die, I just know it.” Maximum freaks
out and won't move.

Jay rushes outside and killed the heavy
that shot at him. Marie took out the other heavy with a headshot.
“Get your head back in the game Maxim and finish this fight!” Marie
shouts.

“
I can’t, we are all going
to die here!”

Andrea had enough with Maxim whine and
was able to destroy the tanks. When the tank was gone, Maxim stop
freaking out. Maire put away her sniper rifle and walk over to
Andrea. In a whisper she said. “Whatever Maxim tells you, you are
better then him for killing four Sons and not freaking out.” Maire
gives him a kiss on his cheek and starts to walk over to the
aircraft. Jay ends up getting wounded for eight days and Andrea was
able to become a Corporal. Along with a new soldier name Sophie
Davies, who is a support class and is a captain.

When the celebration of the two new
soldiers was over everyone stood in a line, boys on one side and
girls on the other side. As they wait for sara’s arrival. Sara was
starting to get nervous about the whole Ball thing for her
birthday. “I don’t know Sandra, I am so nervous.”

Sandra let out a warm smile and bend
over to where she is eye level with Sara. “Remember when estela
kept on saying that you are a princess and we are your servants?”
Sara let out a nod of agreement. “Well, I am sure if she was here
today, this would be the happiest day of her life. The day when you
do become a princess.”

As Sandra opens the door to the main
room, Saras eyes light up like flashlights. The whole place was
decorated like it was for the first ball but this time with banners
that says happy birthday. As the two of them walk down the pathway.
Commander came in front of them. “Miss Sara Rosemary. Today you are
now eight years old. You are a very smart girl, being able to beat
a few scientist at Chess and myself at Risk. With your lovable
personality and bright mind. You are able to keep many of soldiers
calm during a time of war. So the rest of the night is dedicated to
you Miss Rosemary.”

Commander took a bow for Sara and
stayed there. Sara lifted Commanders head and in a calm but loud
voice, she let out her own speech. “My fellow Commander, and my
fellow soldiers. I ask this day to be a ball not because it was
something that I wanted for myself. I wanted this birthday party to
be a ball because you all work so hard. I know what it feels like
to lose someone who is close to you. Her name was Estela Moreno.
She was my best friend here, but sadly she was KIA. So let’s drink,
not to celebrate one person for going around the sun for eight
years, but for you, for still being here!” The whole place
applauded Sara’s speech and many of the soldiers came up to her to
give her hugs and many other things.

Sandra who was in the back of the
crowed just smile and watch. Kato was standing next to Sandra. “Are
you sure she is eight years old?” Kato ask with a confuse look on
her face.

Sandra just let out a chuckle.
“Sometimes, I don’t know. With a speech like that, you think she
could run for politics.”

“
I guess being cook up in
here every single day, you change. I know I have.” Kato told
Sandra. “One more thing, I got something I need to tell you Sandra,
grab mandisa and Katrina and come into my form while everyone is at
the ball right now.” Before Sandra could ask why, kato already left
to her room.

“
You are what!” Sandra
shouts out of surprise.”

Katrina gave Sandra the answer. “She
said she was pregnant if you were listing.”

“
I was listening, I got two
questions. Who is the jerk and what are you going to do
now?”

“
I was hoping that you three
could keep this a secret and he is not a jerk he was a real nice
guy.”

“
Was it sad after a mission
sex?” Katrina ask. Everyone look at her with confusion. “Don’t look
so confuse, I had sex with all three of you. It happens all the
time. after a hard time on the field, you cry over someones
shoulder and then you have sex.”

Kato blush with embarrassment. “You
could call it that. The guy name is Roman Gary, he is a very sweet
guy. However I don’t know what Commander is going to do when he
finds out.”

Sandra gave Kato a suggestion. “I say
you should tell him now, before he finds out later. YOu can’t go
out there in battle, if the baby gets hit, by a bullet, it’s dead
Kato! Tell Commander, take leave. You have a chance to
escape.”

“
And go where?” Mandisa
objects. “We all came here leaving our family behind. We have no
names, no money, and we are only good at one thing, killing other
people. We have no life in the real world. When this is all over,
where are we going to go?” Mandisa ask.

“
How else is she suppose to
keep the child?” Sandra ask.

“
I don’t know.” Madnisa said
with a sigh. “But we will think of something.”

Sandra was trying to hold back her
tears. she was a mix of anger and happiness. She could not control
herself anymore and just gave Kato a giant hug. “I am so proud of
you.”

Mission 21 Gamble

“
Have you two figure out
what you are going to name the new child?” Sandra ask the new
couple.

Both Gary and Kato kind of jump back a
little, they were not expecting that question. “No, we haven't. I
think we are still trying to cope with the idea that I am having a
child. To be honest, we are not even really a couple.” Kato
explain.

“
Katrina?” Mandisa ask. “You
mention something that was kind of, off. “You spoke about child
running away at the age of thirteen, that you were rape. Could you
perhaps explain your history a little bit more?”

Katrina let out a low sigh as all eyes
were on her. “I would rather not tell you what happen before I was
pregnant but I guess I could give you advice on being a mother
Kato.” Katrina let out a pause before she continues. “When you
become a mother, the only thing that you can do is be supportive
and be there for your child. No matter how much you hate what your
child is doing, never stop loving them. Make the fights short, not
long, and to always remember that half of you is in your child.
Hating your child is also hating yourself. Thats all the advice
that I can give you.” The room was still silent before the pagers
went off to break the silence. All went off besides
Gary.

Gary was concern for Kato’s safety.
“Are you really going to go out there Kato?”

“
I have to Gary. If I don’t
then I am going to get into more trouble. I don’t know what kind of
lies that I can tell him and I don’t know what is going to happen
if I tell him the truth.”

“
All right, I wish you
luck.” Gary gave Kato a quick hug. “I’ll wait for your return.” He
told her then left.

When he was gone Sandra was smiling but
shook her head in a no direction. “The two of you should not be
parenting at your age. You both are still children.”

“
Worst than that, Gary is
not even a high enough rank to leave and still get benefits. he is
only a corporal.”

“
He has been a corporal for
a while now, I wonder when he will get to go on more
missions?”

As the aircraft touch the ground
everyone got out. Mandisa, Katrina, Sandra, the new girl Sophie
Davis, Juan, and Kato. Once they were on the ground, there was
nothing but the enemy's aircraft. No son in sight. “Think they
could all be inside?” Sophie ask everyone.

“
The Sons are too smart for
that.” Katrina told her.

“
What makes you say
that?”

“
The Sons are not a
terrorist group. It’s a milta. Sometimes I think that the Sons are
more smarter than we are and have better technology than us.
Whenever we come out with something new, they are already are ahead
of us.”

As the squad moves near the aircraft,
the thing was large. It look like a carrier that could fly. Kato
moves inside, no one there. “For something that is so big, you
would think that there would be a few Sons here, keeping this place
safe.” Kato moves to a door, opens it, nothing. “Nothing in this
room either. Perhaps we were too late?” Kato ask.

“
Perhaps.” Sandra said with
concern.

“
Hey, thats fine by me. A
mission where we don’t have to kill anyone, or get shot at is a
mission I don’t mind doing.” Juan Prezz said with
laughter.

“
Don’t get too comfy Prezz.”
Katrina told him. “I see something moving in the bushes behind us,
get to cover.” As everyone went to cover two heavies and a brute
comes from the sides. “Open fire!” Katrina yell out. Everyone fire
at them but no one hit them. Katrina and the rest was in shock that
everyone miss.

“
D-did we just all miss?”
Mandisa ask in fear.

“
How could that be?” Sophie
also ask with concern. “I thought we were suppose to be the
best?”

“
Shut up and aim again!”
Katrina order them.

Sandra shot at the brute. The brute got
hit but ran away. Sophie took aim at a heavy, hit but not kill.
Karina fire at same target, kills it, with a headshot. Mandisa
moves to cover, fire at heavy, miss. “Miss again!”

Kato runs back to get away from the
fight a little, protecting her unborn child. “is this right, of
what I am doing?” She ask herself. “I know everyone on the plane
told me to do this, but, if anyone of my teammates gets hurt, or
worse, I would never let it down.”

The brute came back. the other heavy
shot at Sandra, light damage. Sandra runs back, fire at the brute,
hit but only light damage. “I hate these fuckers.” Sandra told
herself.

Sophie pins down with gunfire. Katrina
fire at other heavy, kills it. Juan rapid fire on the brute but
miss. Mandisa rapid fire on the brute, hit. The brute moves, Sophie
miss with her suppression. Kato moves towards the brute and fire at
it. The brute gets mad and rushes over to her and starts beating
her down.”KATO!” Mandisa screams as she fires at the brute, hitting
it but not killing it.

“
Get, off of me!” Kato
screams as she blindly fires her gun from being pin down, and was
able to shoot the brute in its face killing it. When the brute was
dead, its dead body fell on Kato and she could not lift the
brute.
