Michelle
struggled
to
shake
off
the
intoxicating
spell
he
seemed
to
have
cast
over
her.
She
needed
to
keep
her
wits
about
her.
She
couldn't
let
herself
forget
that
this
man
was
also
trying
to
run
her
company
into
the
ground.
“
I
think
you've
misunderstood
what
tonight
is
about,
”
she
whispered,
her
voice
coming
out
not
nearly
as
strong
as
she'd
hoped.
She
tried
to
dislodge
his
hand
from
her
thigh
but
found
his
grip
to
be
steadfast.
“
No?
”
He
raised
an
eyebrow,
clearly
not
convinced.
The
way
he
looked
at
her
now,
Michelle
worried
that
more
would
be
at
stake
than
just
her
body
and
her
company.
He
leaned
in
closer,
his
lips
just
a
hair's
breadth
from
hers.
“
I
don't
think
I've
misunderstood
anything.
”
His
hand
inched
farther
up
her
thigh.
Michelle
squirmed
in
her
seat,
holding
her
breath
as
those
delicious
fingers
came
closer
and
closer
to
her
lace
panties.
She
closed
her
eyes,
waiting
for
his
lips
to
find
hers.
When
nothing
happened,
she
reluctantly
opened
them
again.
Roger
Hollins
smiled
at
her.
“
No,
”
he
murmured.
“
No
misunderstandings.
”
This
time,
she
knew
he
was
right.
Despite
how
much
she
hated
him,
Michelle
wanted
nothing
more
than
to
be
tangled
up
in
Roger
Hollins'
sheets
tonight.
“
Eat
your
food,
”
he
commanded
her.
Dazedly
she
realized
that
their
food
had
already
arrived.
He
must
have
ordered
for
them
before
he
got
here.
No
doubt
he
knew
they
wouldn't
spend
long
in
the
restaurant.
It
had
only
been
a
ruse,
a
vehicle
to
get
her
back
to
his
place
where
he
would
have
his
way
with
her.
Beyond
fighting
him,
his
hand
still
burning
through
the
flesh
of
her
upper
thigh,
Michelle
did
as
he
said.
The
ride
to
his
penthouse
had
been
nearly
unbearable
with
Michelle
wanting
nothing
more
than
to
see
this
gorgeous
man
naked.
She
hoped
he'd
at
least
kiss
her
in
the
limo,
but
Roger
Hollins
appeared
to
be
a
man
of
infinite
control
and
patience.
Once
he
knew
that
he'd
acquired
her
–
as
easily
as
he'd
acquired
her
company
–
Michelle
noted
bitterly,
he
had
all
the
time
in
the
world
to
make
good
on
his
demands.
When
the
limo
finally
stopped
after
what
felt
like
an
agonizing
eternity,
Roger
led
Michelle
through
the
opulent
lobby
of
his
building
and
into
an
elevator.
They
rode
the
car
up
in
silence
with
his
heated
eyes
devouring
hers,
promising
her
what
she
knew
was
already
to
come.
She
wished
now
that
she'd
drunk
more
of
the
wine
when
she
had
the
chance.
Her
heart
beat
out
of
control,
pulsing
loudly
in
her
throat.
She
felt
certain
he
could
see
and
wished
more
than
anything
to
know
if
he
felt
the
same
way,
fearing
all
the
while
that
he
didn't.
She
was
only
the
prey,
after
all.
No
more
than
the
little
mouse
is
to
the
wicked
cat.
She'd
barely
had
a
chance
to
register
his
massive
penthouse
suit,
so
different
than
her
own
humble
apartment,
before
Roger
swept
her
into
his
arms,
molding
her
body
against
his
in
a
passionate
kiss,
his
lips
crushing
and
bruising
hers.
She
hadn't
even
time
to
come
up
for
air
when
his
fingers
raked
under
her
blouse,
expertly
unclasping
her
bra.
He
slid
the
flimsy
satin
up,
his
mouth
leaving
a
hot
trail
of
kisses
down
her
throat
as
his
tongue
worked
its
way
to
her
heaving
breasts.
She
moaned
when
his
mouth
clasped
one
nipple,
suckling
greedily
until
it
stood
stiff
against
his
hot
lips.
“
You
have
no
idea
how
much
I've
wanted
to
do
this,
”
he
whispered
between
urgent
kisses.
She
thought
she
detected
a
ragged
quality
to
his
voice
as
though
he
lost
a
tiny
bit
of
his
all
encompassing
control.
In
the
next
second,
Michelle
felt
herself
being
lifted
into
the
air
as
Roger
carried
her
to
his
bedroom.
Michelle
was
in
a
daze,
lost,
transfixed.
Somewhere
in
her
peripheral,
she
recognized
the
huge
master
suit
as
being
fashionably
sparse.
The
city
skyline
twinkled
in
the
blackened
sky
through
the
floor
to
ceiling
windows.
She
felt
herself
being
lowered
onto
a
huge
bed,
covered
in
a
thick
down
comforter.
Roger
stood
up
straight,
studying
her
sprawled
out
form.
She
couldn't
help
but
wonder
what
he
thought,
his
eyes
hooded
and
his
mouth
set
in
a
firm
line
as
though
he
had
come
to
a
resolve
in
what
he
would
do
next.
