I have zero experience, when it comes to relationships. And he is just stepping out of one that has lasted nearly his entire life. I have no idea what I’m competing with, when it comes to her. Granted I’ve met her a few times, I know what type of person she is. I sometimes wish she was never apart of him. She tore him up when she left to a point where he nearly gave up on everything. Every memory he has, it has her attached to them. So, it’s safe to say I will never stop hearing about the bitch that ruined his life.

I keep calculating all the negative things in my head. And when I sum it all up, I still come to the conclusion that no matter what I love him. My feelings are becoming stronger and stronger everyday and I’m scared that one day it will all go away.

And on the other end of the spectrum I feel like we may be moving too fast. I spend nearly every day with him, by his side from sun up to well after midnight.

The thing is I’ve seen this happen in movies, and I’ve even read it in books. In most new relationships there comes a time when the guy tenses up and jumps ship to sails off into the sunset. It’s not you, its me… yada, yada, yada.

Besides why would he waste his time with a virgin? What do I have to offer him? Maybe he'll finally wake up and decide that he doesn’t want me anymore? Where would that leave me?

Most definitely heartbroken.

It might just be better that I sever all ties now, before I'm in too deep.

Then again, he holds my heart, I gave it away to him, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever get it back. A part of me lives inside him, just like he's a part of me. I'm not sure walking away would be best. I could never look myself in the mirror again.

Good Lord. What’s wrong with me? See this is why I never wanted to seek out guys? This is why I never wanted to put myself out there. I was scared that this would happen. My emotions are so mixed up. I'm not sure what to trust my head or my heart.

Chapter 14

Jeremiah

I’ve put in my days working on the repairs with Addie and my nights working on my business. I have several new clients and a few referrals.

I came up with the idea of designing a website for the hardware store. Addie said they’d like to hire some new people since the family is bridging off into their own directions. I agree that a website will give access to inventory online. Orders can be placed and shipped anywhere. It would open their market to people beyond their reach. More workers would also be needed to man new positions and fill the vacancies in others.

Addie has been getting here at the crack of dawn to get this remodel completed. We’re taking baby steps and I just want for it to be over.

The kitchen is almost done. We have cabinets being delivered later this week, with painting and molding going up.

The bathrooms are next. So right now I’m using Jax’s guest bathroom until my plumbing is fixed, which so happens to be happening today.

Addie has volunteered to crawl around under the house to install the new water lines and drainage pipes. These old pier and beam homes are easy for this type of repair, and I’m thankful she knows what she’s doing. I would’ve paid someone but then I wouldn’t eat for a month. I also wouldn’t have a smoking hot woman in my view either. Whom I havehe privilege of calling my own.

She’s just come up for air, and I handed her a water bottle. She took off her flannel shirt and poured the ice cold water down her chest. Oh god. I’m going to come if she doesn’t stop. Her red tank top is soaked. I can see her hard nipples, pointing towards me. The red tank is constricting to her curves, everything is defined, and my only wish is to be that shirt. Wrapped around her, every day.

“Okay stop checking me out. I’m dirty and sweaty and I stink. I’m not feeling pretty right now.”

“God I’m not blind. My eyes see a hot girl. I can see the steam coming off you. And your nipples are flashing me, which only wakes the monster.”

“Very funny. I’m almost done. You should have water upstairs when this is all over with.”

“I’m glad you talked me into going tank less with the water heater. Now I want you tank less.”

“Ha-ha. I’m not finished. You’ll thank me when you take a shower later, you’ll have endless hot water.”

“Good because I will have no excuse to stop eating you in the shower, the water will never turn cold.”

“Do you always have a dirty mind?”

“Yep. And this will be our first shower together in our home.”

    “Our home?”

“Yeah. You’re helping me, its part yours too. Who knows you may end up making it your permanent residence someday.”

“Okay, you must be joking around. Cause I already put a deposit on my new house.”

“You did what? You’re buying a house?”

“Yeah I lost the one I wanted so I decided to build my dream house, exactly how I image it to be. It’s out in the woods behind the barn. I’ve got permits and I’m in no hurry to finish it. Its just a project I wanted to start.”

“Addie, please don’t follow through with this. I want you to think about this more. What happens when we progress? Then you’ll have to sell it.”

“No. I wouldn’t. If that happened we could use it as a guesthouse for your family or sister to drop by. So they’d have somewhere to stay, or Ryan could rent it out from me?”

“No. I want you to move in with me.”

“I’m not sure if you’re ready to move me in here, Jeremiah.”

“I haven’t thought about it till just now, I figured we'd eventually move in that direction, but now I cant stand the thought of you being away from me. When you leave me at night, I cringe the moment I shut the door.

This house doesn’t feel like a home without you. I want your dream house, to be this house. I want to give that to you. It’s not what I want anymore, because all I want is you. You. Babe. Not this house. It was bought for a dumb reason and I thought it was the reason Cam and I fell apart. I hated this house so much, I almost thought about burning it to the ground so I could move on. Luckily I didn’t follow through, because then it brought me to you. The reason I bought this house was to find you, and now I want you to change it, help me make it a home. I want you to put your mark on it. If you want lavender and pink walls, orange, green, blue or purple furniture, have at it. I want you to design this house as if you were to live here. We're ready to move in together, and this way you’ll have things the way you want them.”

“Okay, I'll move in with you and cancel my plans for now. But I would really like a small cottage out there.”

“After we finish this house. We’ll talk about it again.”

“Deal. Okay I’m going back down to the deep dark hole.”

“Woman. Watch that mouth. I want to play with your dark hole.”

“I’m going, I’ll be back soon lover boy. Just think about what you promised me in the shower.”

“Go. Please. Hurry. I need you to help me relieve this.” I point to my stiffness.

“I’m coming, I mean going. It shouldn’t be much longer or harder." she sexily drawls as she crouches back down and disappears through the opening of the hatch.

"Woman!" I screech back at her, while fixing the stiffness in my jeans. I hear her giggling through the opening. It’s like a shock wave to my heart, speeding up the rhythm, oozing love and adoration throughout my veins, spreading warmth to my limbs. It's unbelievable what her sound can do to me.

Chapter 15

Jeremiah

After finishing the kitchen and bathrooms, we’ve moved on to electrical with rewiring the entire house. This project demanded that all walls be demolished, so afterwards we had to lay new Sheetrock.

We took all necessary precautions when it came to the original hardwood floors, during this overhaul. Addie bought these special tarps to lie down on them so that it would protect against wearing. After painting and before we add the molding we’re going to sand the floors down, stain and refinish them. I love that she’s kept some of the character.

The bathrooms turned out amazing, I loved the master bath the most, she added a special touch with the claw foot tub and the icy blue colors mixed with a dark navy.

The guest bathroom has rich dark colors of Cayenne and mocha and what she called Cheyenne. She went more modern in that bathroom adding a soaking tub, giving it more of an elegant spa feel. Either way I love it all the same, because it came from her ideas and our hard work.

Every day I ask myself, how I got here. This house could never feel more perfect, my career, and my life now feel more complete. Never in my dreams has it ever felt more perfect than it is now.

Chapter 16

Addie

I’m babysitting tonight for Jax and Jessa. Jeremiah swore he couldn’t be without me so I asked him join me. He’s holding Jordan after finishing his bottle. We’re rocking back and forth in the double rocking recliners in the nursery.

The twins have quieted down and I’m hoping we can transport them to their cribs without either of them waking. It’s a strong feat, I’m confident I can carefully place them just so, without the crying fest to start all over again.

"Hey what’s that smell? Ugh. What the hell?" I
ssh him, afraid he’d wake them up. Doesn’t he know how hard it is to rock both of them to sleep at the same time? I look over and see that Jordan has christened Jere in the worst of all ways. He exploded out of his diaper and has marked Jere’s leg and shirt.

"Oh no. He pooped and it went up his back."

"Seriously? Babies have explosive poop too? What do you want me to do here?" clearly he’s freaking out, I know he’ll need some help with Jordan.

"Take him into the bathroom, strip his
onesie off, and I’ll put her down and come help you. He’s going to need a bath and you might too." I tell him, eyeing the mess down his front.

Shaking his head, he says. "Just as long as you’re the one giving it to me." He winks at me.

    "You’re a dirty boy."

    "Yes I am, with you."

"There will be no fooling around till they are asleep."

"Good I’m too shy to have an audience."

"You better remember that when you have kids."

"You mean when we have kids."

"Jeremiah, are you seriously thinking of having kids, with me?"

"Looking at you this evening with them, it sealed all my doubts away, you’re amazing and so loving and I can picture you with our kids someday. It brings a warmness to my heart."

"How? Seriously we just started dating. I mean we, us, this, is so new how could you be so sure that I’m the woman you want to reproduce with?"

"I'll answer your question later babe. Right now I’m about to puke from this smell."

"Oh no, hold on Jere. Give me a sec.”

I run towards the crib, depositing Jade, she’s already been changed and is ready for bed, and luckily still sound asleep.

I grab my phone to capture this moment. Jere is going to be mad, but he’ll get over it. Walking back into the bathroom, all ideas of taking pictures are gone, Jere has Jordan bare to his chest, Jordan is stripped down to his diaper and Jeremiah is shirtless. He notices my phone and jerks his face so that his eyes meet mine, questioning. I set the phone down, no pictures this time, but eventually I want proof that Jordan marked the spot.

Turning my gaze to Jordan removing his diaper carefully, I take him from Jere and seat him in the baby tub inside the big tub. Turning the water to a Luke warm, I wait until its heated before filling a cup to rinse him off. He giggles and smiles, kicking his legs in excitement. He loves bath time.

    "Oh
Jordy, I know you love this. Bro, seriously how many times have you done this? Jessa needs to find better diapers equipped for your explosive tendencies. I swear this has been round two with me. I can only imagine your poor mama. You leave her little surprises all the time, don’t you? But this one is a nightmare.” He kicks his feet, excitedly.

“Oh I know you’re just too darn cute. How could I be mad with you? Let’s wash your hinney-bo, gotta
make sure all your crevices are thoroughly cleansed. And the whittle baby balls too, and these cute little thunder thighs, I better not tickle you now." he squeals.

"Jeez! You’re gonna be a heart breaker some day kid." He continues to giggle, as I wash him with lavender and chamomile, I’m hoping he will relax and go down without a fight. He loves to stay up later than his sister and I’m now afraid he may end up waking her.

"Addie, you better say sweet words to me as you’re washing me too."

"I could do better than sweet words, my dirty mind and filthy mouth usually do you in."

"Yes, I do love that dirty mouth you have. I want it all. The sweet and innocent turned dirty and kinky."
