“I love you, Hayley Frost, and I hardly know you.”

I curled upward into him, to wrap him with me. “You know all there is to know about me. A person is more than facts.” He smiled with his eyes. “I love you, too, I told him.” I shook my head in disbelief. It hadn’t even been a week and I knew it within my heart of hearts that I….loved Felix Cartwright. And admitting that to myself made me light, like gravity had no effect on me any longer. The persistent stress that had haunted me since my meeting him and flown away with the words into the ether.

His lips found a sensitive spot causing me to gasp. My back arched to give him even better access to my breasts. He moved his hand down my torso and in between my legs. The feel of his fingers in that special place was beyond anything I had ever felt before.

Then one of his fingers slowly made its way inside of me and I gasped again. He pulsed his finger in and out of me at a gradually increasing pace and I feared that I would climax right then and there.

Kissing down the front of my body, his face made the slow journey from top to bottom. His tongue pressed between my legs gently licking and petting me. I put a hand over my mouth to stop myself from screaming in pleasure. His tongue felt so gentle, soft, and wet. All I could do to manage the agony of my pleasure was to grasp the sheets with one hand and the top of his head with the other.

“I want you to come for me.” He firmly grasped my pelvis in his hands as he went down for more. My hips began to move in a wave-like motion that correlated with the movements of his tongue, which was practically inside me now. I couldn't stand it any longer.

“Felix,” I moaned. The sound of his name coming from my mouth was delicious. He was still fully clothed, but I couldn’t wait for him to take everything off so I could see his immaculate body. “Felix,” I sighed again.

“Come for me, Hayley,” he said again. “Come for me.”

An electric shock jolted up my spine then back down again straight into my vagina, igniting my clit until my whole body spasmed into wild convulsions. I came so hard that I scratched my fingernails hard down Felix’s back. He growled then nuzzled into me to alleviate our painful pleasure. I climaxed for what felt like a solid minute; waves of pleasure pulsing through my entire body.

Felix quickly began to take off all his clothing, right there in front of me. First his shirt, then his pants and boxer shorts, so that I could finally see all of him in his bare state. A moment of panic struck me when I saw his erection. I had never been with a guy that big before, but nothing would stop me from this.

He moved towards me, positioning himself over me and between my legs. “Are you alright?”

“Yes,” I replied but shook my head at the sheer disbelief of how good everything made me feel.

“Let me know if anything is uncomfortable,” he said and returned to kissing and licking my neck. I was ready. I wanted him inside me now.

He positioned his tip right between my legs, and with a gentle thrust, he was inside me. The feeling overcame me at first. I couldn’t handle so much of him in me, but gradually, I loosened up and the feeling of him so far within was passed description. I couldn't get enough.

We built each other together.

His slow thrusts took on a more feverish pitch until he was pulsing uncontrollably inside of me.

“Oh God, Felix.” I moaned again.

His face perspired.

“You feel so good.” He pounded me roughly, my whole body receptive to his thrusting. He continued to kiss me, almost violently, and I kissed him back with equal fervor.

Then he rolled over and hoisted me on top of him. I felt self-conscious at first, having him see me so exposed at this angle.

My insecurities were relieved, however, when I failed to deny how impressed he seemed by the view. I gyrated slowly, riding him and feeling him even more deeply within me. My pace gradually increased until I too could pulse my hips against his with ecstasy while his hands held the naked flesh of my hips.

“Felix, fuck, you’re gonna make me come again,” I said. I could feel my entire body was about to give way in a rush of pleasure.

“Me too, baby. Come for me again.” I don’t know what it was about him telling me to come, and calling me baby, but my body instantly responded. I could feel him harder inside of me than he had ever been before and our bodies exploded together in what felt like the death of all things mortal and transient. The feeling was so intense that it seemed like only the Gods should be privy to it which would make sense with Felix being a part of this. I began wailing and convulsing, collapsing onto his body. He too was nearly screaming with pleasure as he released his cum inside of me.

I lay there on top of him. The two of us were in an exhausted and elated embrace. He slowly pulled me over and to the side, where he wrapped his arms around me fiercely, gently moving his nose through my hair. He kissed the back of my neck and my shoulders, ever so gently, finding whatever way he could to silently express the way he felt about me.

“God, you’re gorgeous.” He stroked at my perspiring brow. I heaved heavy and collapsed into his chest where I felt safe. “This can work, babe. We’ll make this work.”

— Epilogue —

The summer, my dream trip, came and went so quickly that the journey home felt too heavy to bear. Ako and Kristen had to physically pry my arms off Felix at the departure gate. I lost control of my tears, weeping like some wild woman into them as we left, not knowing when I could see him again.

The night I finally went back to his hotel, we didn’t leave his room for another three days save the rare occurrence when we visited to pool or the sauna.

Finally, when we made it outside we began on a tour of London that was way more exciting than anything us three girls would’ve planned. Felix forced us to cut the touristy shit, instead leading us through all the unknown parts of town— The places off the beaten path that only the locals know. I fell even more in love with the city and not only because I now had Felix by my side.

With Felix, each more hour we spent together, I chipped away more and more at this bad guy bravado. Sure, he could still be a bit of a dick and knew exactly what it took to wind me up but we kept finding our happy medium over and over again. We played off each other. He could wind me up, I could wrap him around my little finger. We had a dynamic that pandered just enough to my dramatic self but not so much it stressed me out or made me doubt our being together forever.

“I can’t go,” I’d said to the girls in panic. “I have to get off the plane.” Of course, no way I could since we were already taxiing down the runway.

I pressed my palm to the window beside me, looking down upon the rows of brick houses, the lanes, then onto the thatched roofs and open fields of the homes in the country and finally we were above the weather. Ako and Kristen both held my hands so tightly they lost circulation. It helped.

What I wished I could tell my younger self was that I wouldn’t have to wait long to see him. Pulling into my driveway in Ventura, I wasted no time figuring out how to get the very first VISA I could find.

And what would you know? I ended up right back in Felix’s arms, sitting on a picnic blanket in Hyde Park.

“You smell delicious,” he said and pretended to nibble on my earlobe. I giggled and hit him gently.

“Stop. It tickles.”

He laughed back and began to massage my shoulders. Fall was here but the sun still shone enough today for it not to not be too cold. Our basket of fresh fruit, cheese, and warm baguette from the French bakery had almost been demolished by Felix and his vivacious appetite. I popped the last piece of camembert into of his mouth then kissed it closed.

Felix was wearing the same ripped jeans as usual, with a white tank top and wayfarer sunglasses. He was also still smoking cigarettes— Something I had tried to make him quit numerous times to no avail.

I heard the sound of my phone ringing and grabbed it from my purse.

“Who is it?” he asked, taking my hair in his hands and pulling my head back gently. He gnawed on the skin of my neck. He still loved acting a little bit possessive. When he did it this way, of course I didn’t protest.

“My other boyfriend.” I teased.

“Oh good, I’ll answer.” He reached around me and tried to snatch my phone from my hands. I rolled onto the grass, giggling as he straddled on top of me and pinned my arms over my head.

“Hey!” His fingers entered my ribs and he tickled.

“Please,” I laughed and wailed. “I beg of you. Oh my God, stop!”

“Do you surrender?” he asked. “Huh?”

“Yes, yes, yes.”

He rolled over to fall on the grass beside me and threw his arm across my torso. I brought the phone to my ear, excited to talk to my dear friend after what felt like had been ages.

“Ako!” I said enthusiastically. “I’ve fucking missed you so much!”

“Oh my God…She answered, she answered. Hayley! It’s been forever!” Felix traced lines over the exposed parts of my belly and my hairs prickled. “Kristen’s here. Wait, wait, wait…Don’t hang up. I’m going to put us on speaker phone.”

“OK, I’ll put Felix on too.”

“Hayley!” Kristen screeched so loud my phone speaker crackled. Felix blocked his ears. “Felix. You guys, it’s been way too long. Look, dude, you won’t believe it! Ako’s found herself an English guy too. He’s this sexy beast in her doctor program thing and he’s fucking
gorgeous
, like…Felix gorgeous. Sorry Felix.”

“You’re forgiven, Kristen.”

“Anyway, you’ll love him. When’s my turn for this to happen though? How are you? I miss you. We miss you. This place is shit without you here to go to Disneyland and shit.” She finally gave a pause to let me speak.

“I’m so good. Everything is great.” Felix surreptitiously kissed me on the mouth. “I’m here with Felix. We’re having a picnic in the park.”

“Ooh, Felix, you romantic dog, you.”

“What can I say?” He smiled at me. It crushed me inside when he would.

When are we going to see you again?” Ako asked. “When are you coming to visit?”

“Well, that’s the thing.” I said hesitantly. “I may be here for a while, guys.” I glanced over at Felix. “It’s just that…Uh…I, uh, actually—”

“She’s too humble to say it,” Felix said, taking the phone from my hands. “She got accepted into RADA. She’ll be staying here a while.”

A pause.

“What’s that?” Kristen asked quietly in the background.

“Oh, you’re so ignorant, Kris. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Only, like, the most amazing school for what Hayley wants to do.”

Kristen let out a shrill scream again. “You
what
?”

“And, also,” I started, “well, we just decided to…Um…”

“Live together.” Felix yelled into the phone. “Bloody hell. Just spit it out woman.” I poked my tongue out to him.

“Into the Chateau?”

“No, actually. I scored a new place— A loft in Covent Gardens that we got for a steal. It’s closer to the studios for me and not far for Hayley from school.” Using his modeling connections, Felix had managed to score a job at a productions company that made commercials and other small PSA’s and such. He’d directed a few so far, a job he couldn’t believe he put off so long.

“That’s so amazing Hayley! All of it. I’m…
We’re
so happy for you.” Ako added.

“Thanks guys. I’m beyond excited.” Felix was kissing the back of my shoulders now and it was pleasurably distracting. “Listen guys, I have to go because I have like no phone battery left but I promise we’ll talk soon, okay? Before my classes start.”

“Sounds great,” Ako said. “We love you so much, Hayley. We’re so proud of you.”

“So proud of you!” Kristen added.

“Thanks guys. I love you too.” I hung up the phone and turned to Felix. He looked at me with expectancy in his eyes.

“That went on forever.”

“We talked for, like, 2 minutes.” I pushed him back to the ground and this time straddled myself on top of him.

“That’s two minutes too long in my world. All I thought about was this.” He slowly pulled me down to kiss me, gently at first, then with more passion.

“You’re impossible.”

Felix looked deeply into my eyes. “How could I be impossible when you have me wrapped around that little finger of yours? I’m you slave, Hayley Frost.”

“My slave, huh? I seem to recall a time when you had a hope I might be yours.”

“Turns out you were right, after all. I live to tend upon the hours and times of your desire, my love.” He expertly quoted that sonnet that we heard at the Arts Council dinner, and I was impressed that he remembered it all these months later.

“Well at this hour and time, my desire is to be sitting right where I am. With you,” I said, looking into his shocking blue eyes.
