“You crazy fucking bitch, I knew I should have gutted you. But no, Christian wanted to play,” he says with an evil laugh. Stefanos walks up to him, kicks him in the ribs and drags him to the boot, throwing him in. I can still hear him screaming and calling me names from the boot.

“I can kill him, Princess; you don’t have to be involved.” I look up at him and shake my head no; he is not having this one, as well.

“No, Stefanos, you are not to help.” I’m just about to the car when the banging in the boot gets louder. I need to shut this fucker up; I have a party to attend to. I walk back to the boot of the car and pop it open, watching as he tries to escape a second time. I shoot him again in his thigh.

“You best be keeping the noise down. Otherwise, I won’t get a chance to play, because you will bleed to death.” I slam the boot back down and hop back to the car where I see Stefanos smiling at me.

“What?” I ask, looking at this fine Greek God who has my emotions all over the shop.

“You; it’s just you,” he says, like I am meant to understand a word of that.

“Ok, lover boy, we have a party to attend.” He shakes his head and drives back to the mansion, smirking.

Once we pull up, Stefanos places his hand on my thigh, and I turn around to face him

“You’re going to behave tonight, aren’t you, Princess? No fucking anyone else.”

“What if I want to?” I say, teasing him. His hand slides up my dress to my exposed pussy—I’m not wearing underwear—and once he reaches it, he smiles. I spread my legs a little further apart; he pinches me on my clit and leans down so his hot breath is on my ear. “I repeat: you will behave.” I scoff at him and climb out of the car before he has a chance to inflict more sexual pleasure on me.

Just as I reach the front door, Stefanos walks up beside me. “No touching anyone but me tonight. I haven’t had my fill for a very long time, and I am dying to be inside of that sweet—oh, so sweet—pussy that is
mine.
” I laugh at him and tell him to go and find a bimbo to play with, which makes him angry; he pins me to the front door like a caged animal.

“I haven’t touched anyone but you, and that won’t change.”

H
e has me breathing heavy, he has me wet, and he has my heart beating rapidly. Just as I’m about to say something stupid, the front door flies open, sending me falling backwards; Stefanos catches me just in time.

“I’ll always catch you before you fall, Princess.” Bastard and his smooth-ass lines. I shake myself free of him and head into the party to meet with Father.

I spot him in a large group of men, obviously talking business. He sees me coming and holds his hand out. I graciously take it and lean in to hug him; when I look up, I see all the men he was talking to stop and look at me. I see an older man, who looks to be Italian, staring at me and smiling; he has two younger men around my age or older standing on either side of him. There is also an African-American man standing there, smiling sickly, and he gives me the creeps straight-up by the way he’s looking at me. I would like to stab him in the eyes with my knife.

“Krinos, this is Roberto.” My father introduces me to the Italian man, and I instantly recognize his name from being the head honcho in the Mafia. He smiles graciously at me, and I instantly like him.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Krinos. I cannot wait to be doing business with you instead of this old man,” he jokes to my father; my father smiles at me and shakes his head at Roberto. I look to the right of him and see the other man’s beady eyes taking me in. That’s when Stefanos walks over and grabs my waist possessively; I watch as Roberto looks down and smiles.

“Oh, Stefanos, I think she may be a bit out of your league there. Krinos isn’t a blonde, and she has an attitude and more than likely can kick your ass.” I look up at Roberto; he winks at me, and I crack up laughing. Stefanos tightens his hold on me, and I break free from his grasp and stand near Roberto.

“Pretty lady, let’s go take a seat and chat.” Roberto offers me his arm, and I take it. When I turn back around, I see my father smiling and Stefanos wearing a scowl.

We take a seat outside around the pool area and grab champagne on our way out.

“So, tell me, Krinos. Are you planning on taking over all your father’s deals when you take over?”

“Just depends what they are, Roberto. If it benefits me and my business then of course I will,” I say and take a sip of my alcohol.

“I like you, Krinos, I do, and I have a lot of respect for your father. He is the only man who scares me and, believe me, a man like me isn’t scared much. I’m willing to make you the same deal I offered your father.” I nod my head in a sign I’m listening and let him continue. “You continue to distribute to me at the lowest price than anyone else, and I will give you all the protection you need; you know I supply all your father’s protection. Actually, I think your own security detail was once one of mine.” I look up at him and glance to Rock, standing at the doorway doing his job, and see him talking to Roberto’s men.

“You are going to have to offer me more than that, Roberto. I like you too, though; I know you can offer more.” He looks at me and smiles.

“You are your father’s daughter; I will supply you and your men all the guns you need.” I knew he had a similar deal with my father, as he is where my father got my gun from. I know he was testing me to see how easy of a pushover I would be, and he was glad I didn’t bow down to his demands. He smiled graciously at me. Roberto calls over one of his sons, and I look at him. He is very attractive and has all the dark features an Italian man is meant to have, except he has a softness in his eyes I can see when he smiles at me. I stand up and introduce myself, and he places a kiss on my cheek.

“You know, you should date my son, Krinos; we could build an empire.” I laugh at him and turn around to see Stefanos death-staring Roberto’s son. Roberto sees it and smiles. “Son, you might want to remove your hand from this young lady before you find a bullet between your eyes.” I take a seat next to Roberto again, and he grabs hold of my hand and talks to me.

“I don’t know what you have done to that man, but he is more dangerous now than ever before. And believe me, he was dangerous,” he says, nodding toward Stefanos. “Why do you think your father put so must trust in him? He is deadly and now he is that much more.”

Roberto lets go of my hand just as Stefanos reaches us; I look up at him and try to remember what my father used to say when he talked about him. I remember him saying his hands are lethal, and I know that, just in a different way, of course. I remember how my father used to brag about him, about how, if he had Stefanos, nothing would get in his way again. I didn’t quite understand back then what he was talking about, but I have seen him kill before, and he does it like it’s natural to him. I realize then I don’t know much about this man who claims me as his.

He sees my brain-working overload and leans down to place a soft kiss to my cheek. I look him in the eyes. “If you want me, I need to know you.”

He nods his head and leads me up to my room past all our guests. As he walks, I watch as people make way for him, and if they see him coming, automatically move out of his way. He has a lot of respect in this room, almost—or close enough to—what my father does.

And I wonder how he got it.

––––––––

I
watch as he paces the room then stops and stands in front of me. I’m sitting on my bed, looking up to this beautiful brown-eyed man and watching him. He doesn’t speak straight away, just reaches up and slides his thumb down my cheek and onto my lips. He leans down and lightly brushes his lips over mine then steps back.

“I killed my father when I was twelve.” Holy shiz balls; was not expecting that out of his mouth. He doesn’t let me say anything, and he continues.

“I have a sister, who is twenty-three. She is my world; I would do anything to protect her. There are only four years between us, though I treat her like she is my daughter rather than a sister. She was my world until you stepped into it.”

“Growing up, we didn’t have a mother. She died giving birth to Cassandra, so our father raised us. My father was the devil—an evil, sadistic man. He used to hit me at least once a day for something; God, for anything.” He stops and runs his hands through his hair. He looks at me, and I can see the pain in his eyes; he doesn’t want to tell this story. I wonder if he has told anyone before.

“He never used to hit Cassandra, though; I always thought it was because she reminded him of our mother. I’m glad she never got to see the end of his fist, though she endured worse; I just didn’t know about it.” He goes to the door, and I’m afraid he is going to walk out, but he doesn’t. He slides down the door, plants his ass on the floor and continues.

“I remember waking up one night to Cassandra crying, I had never really heard her cry much before, so I thought it was very odd. I remember walking into her room and seeing my father laying on top of her, stroking her hair and telling her to be quiet. I didn’t quite work out was happening till she saw me standing in the doorway. And when she did, I saw red. My father saw me there and told me to fuck off back to bed. I didn’t, though; I walked into his room, where I knew he kept his gun, and grabbed it. When I returned, Cassandra had stopped crying and laid there, stiff as a doll, not moving with her eyes closed. I’ll have that image implanted in my head for as long as I live. She gave up hope that day; she thought I gave up.” He drops his head between his legs, and it breaks me; it breaks me for his sister, and it breaks me for him. He looks back up at me and continues, though; I think he needs it off his chest, and I let him.

“I froze while I stood there with the gun in my hand, pointed to the floor; I didn’t know what to do. Cassandra saw me there and shook her head no, though I knew, I just knew, he would continue. This obviously wasn’t his first time, and it more than likely wouldn’t be his last.”

“He relieved himself and stood up, and that’s when he noticed me standing there. He asked me if I wanted another beating, and if I didn’t, I was to get back to my room. I knew I couldn’t; I knew I had to end this, and I had to protect her. So, I raised the gun and shot him straight between the eyes.” He smiles when he says that.

“Cassandra and I were put in foster care and stayed there till we were old enough to leave. I was always in a fight there, getting into some kind of trouble: doing drugs, drinking alcohol, everything. That is, until I realized I would soon be old enough to leave. As soon as I was out, I got the first job I could find, and that was with your father. He has helped me with Cassandra, and for that, I give him my life.”

I’m not quite sure what I am meant to say to him. Obviously, he is a grown man now, but those demons would still be there. I lean down to him, go to my hands and knees and grab his face. When I look at him, I see everything I want; I see a man who fights for what he loves, fights to keep what he loves and most of all, loves hard.

His eyes meet mine, and I can tell it wasn’t easy for him. l lean in and kiss him softly on the lips and cheeks, placing soft kisses all over his face. His eyes don’t leave mine while I kiss him, and each time I lay a kiss on him, I look into his eyes.

I sit back and start undoing the buttons on his shirt, and he lets me. Once I have his shirt off, I stand up and drop my dress to the floor. I have no bra or knickers on, so I am fully exposed to him. He looks at me like my scars aren’t even there, like I’m the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on.

He stands and up runs his hands up and down my stomach, slowly tracing my scars. I want to flinch away, but I don’t move. He backs me up to the bed and lowers me down on it. “I don’t fall in love, Princess, though with you, love isn’t a strong enough word. You own me, consume me; you’re my every thought. You silence my demons when I’m with you, and you also make them kill for you.”

I shiver at his words and watch as he brings himself on top of me, kissing over every scar that mars my body; he takes away the ugly and creates beauty.

His body descends on mine, and he worships me. I have never had sex like this before, with light, feather kisses being placed all over me, and smoldering mouth kisses that would make my knees go weak if I were standing.
