Lord Vyner’s laugh echoed in the cavern, and he drew Simon down for another kiss. This time, he urged Simon’s mouth open and slipped his tongue inside. Simon thought perhaps the dragon had returned to breathe on them, because he felt sparks alight all over his skin.

He’s kissing me.

Could it be? Simon broke the kiss and peered into his master’s eyes. “You…me?”

“Oh, yes.” He kissed Simon’s neck, nuzzling behind his ear. “I had to be sure you wanted it too. You’re so innocent. I couldn’t take the chance. It had to be your own free will.”

“It is.” Simon rolled his hips, and they groaned. He was getting hard, and it felt so good that he did it again.

“Perhaps not so innocent after all, my dragon slayer.”

Dragon slayer
. Simon blinked. “I didn’t. It was Celestia—the starfall. I was only lucky.”

“Lucky?” Lord Vyner shook his head. “You are the true starfall. There was no luck, only skill. And heart.” He cupped Simon’s rear. “I want to take you to bed for days.”

“Yes, my lord.” Simon nodded. “Please.”

“Hugh. Call me by my name from this day onward.”

Simon could barely believe his ears. It was unheard of. “Yes, my…Hugh. And I don’t need to wait for a bed. I’ve waited long enough.”

A sly smile curved Hugh’s lips. “Do you propose we take each other here in the belly of the earth?”

“Yes. And in the forest, and the river, and in every place we can until we find a bed.”

Eyes gleaming, Hugh kissed him hard. “As you wish, dragon slayer.”

AUTHOR

Keria Andrews

After writing for years yet never really finding the right inspiration, Keira discovered her voice in gay romance, which has become a passion. She writes contemporary, historical, fantasy and paranormal fiction, and — although she loves delicious angst along the way — Keira firmly believes in happy endings. For as Oscar Wilde once said:

The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what fiction means.
