As she drifted off to sleep, she thought she heard him say, “A medical fetish. Who knew you had a medical fetish?”

But by the time she woke up the next morning she’d all but forgotten.

Chapter Three

It had been one hell of a long week.

Less on the glad-it’s-over region and more into the fucktard category.

Aslan stretched her neck as she drove the last few miles home. Bleary eyes from jetlag aside, she missed Zeke something fierce.

An airline strike had caused most of the issues. Something they’d never run into before. They traveled extensively. Either her or Zeke had been flying once a week for months, with the end of the next cruise ship growing closer and contract renewals needed on some of their largest ports.

Their ships went everywhere.

Dozens of different countries. If issues arose, they needed to be able to hop on a plane and take care of them immediately. Face-to-face meetings were almost always the only things holding tenuous international contracts together.

This time it had been Morocco. She’d had a feeling several weeks prior that things were falling apart, which would have been a huge blow to their cruise line.

With great food, friendly people and a mecca for all things colorful in the arts and culture, Morocco wasn’t just a place they took people. It was a destination they loved. The contract hitting the crapper wasn’t something they could just swallow and go about their business. It meant something to them. More than just a line item on a balance sheet.

It was a highly sought-after port and normally very easy to get to.

“Normally” wasn’t “always”, though and not getting across the pond to negotiate in person could have cost their line millions in lost revenue.

So what had they done?

They bought their own private jet.

Something they’d been talking about doing for a couple years, but the numbers just hadn’t made it worth their while. Until this week.

Salvaging the wavering contract with the Prime Minister of Morocco had fallen to Aslan, since she dealt with most of their foreign contacts. The week of discussions had been trying and frustrating, especially since she had to have a translator with her for all of the negotiations. Learning to speak Arabic and French had been on her to-do list for a while but she just hadn’t gotten around to it yet.

Honor is one of the biggest values held dear to the Moroccan people, all the way up to the king, who she’d seen in passing a few times during the week.

Certain assurances given in private could mean less the dirt on the artwork inside the parliament. But if someone agreed to something in the presence of others, you could consider it as good as gold. A fact she’d learned long ago, which was one more reason to have a translator with her she trusted.

The meetings were long and trying but she’d secured Morocco as one of their premier African ports for the next five years. The longest contract they’d had to date.

Success bubbled in her veins as she turned down the last street before she got home. She’d spoken with Zeke every day, but it wasn’t nearly the same as being with him all day.

“Aching” for him barely touched the surface.

Quite a few other vehicles passed her as she moved closer to home. Closer to her husband.

Aslan glanced at the clock, trying to remember which time zone she was in.

Nine-thirty at night. Eastern.

“What’s with all the traffic?” she asked out loud. No one could hear her but whatever.

Car after truck after SUV filed past her. It was just odd. And it almost seemed as if they were coming from…her house.

Several of the vehicles seemed familiar too.

Oh. Work people. Maybe? Zeke was probably having some testosterone-fueled, rugby-watching party. Interesting sport. It was a full-contact, take-down sport with minimal padding and lots of aggression. Good times.

Odd he didn’t mention it on the phone when she called him during the flight.

Pulling into the driveway, as the last two vehicles drove away, made her even that much more suspicious something else was going on.

One of the vehicles was full of some of the metal fabrication guys.

And the other?

A couple of the design women from the ship’s interior departments.

Huh?

But something they all had in common?

Shit-eating grins on their faces as they passed her, and several of them waved as they drove away.

Huh?

In the garage, after she’d closed the overhead door, she hauled her tired self out of the vehicle and grabbed her purse.

The door opened at the far corner of the large space and Aslan’s fatigue melted away.

“Zeke.”

“Fuck, I missed you.”

There he stood with a towel wrapped around his lean hips.

Leaving her luggage in the back, she moved toward him and he lifted her up into his arms.

His mouth was on hers and her hands were in his wet hair.

The taste of his possession jolted through her system and she sighed against his lips. “Missed you so bad.” Droplets of water still clung to his shoulders. “Quick shower?”

His grin spoke volumes and his sly “Mmhmm.” made her even more curious.

“And people from work were leaving from here?”

“A few.” And the smirk definitely hadn’t faded.

Aslan’s eyebrows dipped low. “Care to tell me what’s going on, husband of mine?”

“No.” There was no heat to his words. Nothing but a fair amount of kid-in-a-candy-store glee.

“No?” she said in the form of a question. “No?” she asked again about an octave higher. “But I’m so curious now. Can I have a little hint?”

He let her slide down his body and he kissed her again. “”Let me get your luggage and you can take a load off on the couch.”

Another yawn assailed her and she tried to shake it off. “I already have shoes on. Why don’t you just let me grab it?”

He growled at her and stepped through the doorway into the garage.

“Have I ever told you how much I love it when you growl?” she called over her shoulder as she put her purse down and headed toward the living room.

Nothing looked out of place when she glanced around, which kicked her curiosity into high gear.

“A few times,” he told her a second before he kicked the door closed.

The suitcase rolling down the hall made her even happier to not be traveling anymore. Only thing better than getting to see the world was having a house and wonderful man to come home to.

Zeke walked back down the hall as she fell face-first onto the couch.

He scooped her up and resettled them both on the soft cushions, with Aslan in his lap.

Burying her nose in his neck, she inhaled his scent. “Missed you.” Another yawn interrupted her. “And I’m tired.”

“How about I put you into a bath and then into bed?”

“How about you tell me what you’re avoiding talking about? What have you been up to, Mr. Sneaky?”

“It’s a surprise.” He touched his nose to hers and then stared down at her.

Aslan grinned. “Anything like my last surprise, down in the engine room? Is Claudia here somewhere?” She peaked over his shoulder and looked around the room.

Laughing, he held her close. “No Claudia for this surprise but it is definitely kinky in nature.”

“Hmmmm,” Aslan puzzled.

“What?”

“It’s my turn for a fantasy, even though the last fantasy was kind of mine, too.”

“Nope. Seeing you with another woman was one-hundred percent mine.”

“Then why are you doing another one?” Aslan shrugged. “I’m not against the idea, since I really didn’t have anything in mind, but I’m just curious. And why are you smiling like that?” Another yawn. She really wasn’t going to last long.

“This is absolutely your fantasy.”

“But I didn’t ask for anything.”

“Not in so many words, you didn’t, but it’s definitely yours. Well. Part of it started off as completely yours. Something we’d never talked about before so I didn’t even know it was a blip on your radar. But the rest of the surprise is very,
very
much ours. Something we can use over and over again.”

“Hmm. I sure like the sound of all of that. And when are you going to tell me all about this secret fantasy of mine?” No matter how tired she was, when Zeke’s cock jerked beneath her backside, her everything took notice.

“Tomorrow, I’ll have everything ready.”

“When tomorrow?”

“In the afternoon, maybe. If not, tomorrow night. I want to make sure you’ve slept and are completely rested because I plan to use you quite thoroughly.”

“That sounds…delicious.”

“Yes, you are.” He stood with her in his embrace and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

“I love it when you carry me. You make me feel tiny.”

“That’s because you are tiny.” Walking through the house, he headed toward their bedroom and passed by one of the guest rooms.

“Uhh…” she started and everything else died in her throat. Excitement tingled along her spine, landing in the pit of her stomach.

“Yes?” He raised his eyebrows and acted all nonchalant as he moved past the door marked with caution tape.

“What’s behind that door?”

“Something you’re going to cream over. Tomorrow.”

“Things are already quite creamy.”

In their bedroom, he kept walking until he stepped into the bathroom. Kissing her forehead, he gave her a look that meant business. “Promise me you’ll stay out of there until I bring you in to have my way with you.” His face changed. Softened. Hardened. Something. “It’s important and I want it to be perfect for you.”

Aslan cupped his jaw. Stubble. Mmm. She met his gaze. “I promise. Cross my heart and everything. Anything important enough to give you that look on your face is worth me being antsy for a few hours. And I’m already dying from curiosity.”

He kissed her lips. Sipping at them, he took her mouth in a kiss that heated her blood until she sighed. “Let’s get you to bed. You look like you’re about ready to fall asleep. Bath? Shower?”

“Neither, actually.” They both started pulling off her clothes. “I showered on the plane, just because I could.”

“Awesome. End of the flight was good after we spoke? No issues with customs or anything?”

Another yawn. “All was perfect. I really don’t know why it took us so long to do this. I know it was expensive, but we can do a lot with it. A lot.”

“You’re such a rockstar.”

“Me? Why me? I just did what we needed done so we stay on schedule.”

“You can do anything you put your mind to. You literally just flew in our new private jet to lock in a five-year contract with the Prime Minister of Morocco. All in a language you don’t speak, in a mostly male-dominated country. I repeat. You. Are. A. Rockstar.”

Her last piece of clothing hit the floor and Aslan yanked the edge of Zeke’s towel until it hit the ground. “Oops.” She smiled and he raised an eyebrow. “Well, when you say it that way it seems like a lot.” Her hand circled Zeke’s hard shaft and he hissed. “Miss me?” Unable to stop yawning, she covered her mouth with her free hand.

“More than I can say.” He pulled her hand free. “Don’t pout. You get ready for bed.” He snagged the towel and her clothes off the floor and headed for the closet. “I have to go check on one thing and then I’ll meet you in bed.”

“It’s a date.” Yes, she watched him go. No, she didn’t think she was dreaming, but she pinched her arm just to make sure. “So lucky.” She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and grimaced. Guess she didn’t have to ask if she looked as tired as she felt.

A few minutes later, she climbed between her sheets. “Oh, how I’ve missed you.”

“Did you say something?”

Cuddling her favorite pillow, she sank into the cool soft sheets. “Just whispering sweet nothings to our bed.”

“Be there in just a minute.”

“Take your time. I’m not going anywhere.” She closed her eyes and sighed. Sleep found her before Zeke did.

* * * * *

Anticipation clawed at her insides the next evening. “Can I open my eyes yet?”

“Nope.”

“Oh, fuck, that smells like leather. Like toys.” She added the last part in a whisper.

“No peaking, missy.”

Aslan had crashed so hard the night before she never woke when Zeke called to her that he was almost finished or when he came to bed. When he pulled her close, he told her she was snoring. Not surprising. Jetlag was a bitch.

She’d slept until noon and had woken up to him, between her thighs, beneath the covers licking her pussy. Coming on his mouth was only second best to coming on his cock. Which she’d done several minutes after that, when he’d flipped her over and fucked her from behind, so he could spank her ass red.

Not because she did anything bad, but because he wanted to see his mark on her.

Most delicious man she’d ever met.

And now she finally stood in the room she’d promised not to go into. It had been the longest day of her entire life. Patience may well be a virtue but it certainly wasn’t one of hers. “Can I look yet?” She tightly squeezed her hands together in front of her, trying to keep from yanking the blindfold off.

“Almost.” He shifted her position just a little bit and settled his hands on her shoulders. “Okay. Ready. Take off the—”

“Wait. I have a question first.” She bit her lip, suddenly very nervous.

He kissed her neck. “Anything.”

“I know work people left here yesterday. And I know whatever I’m about to see is kinky in nature and if I know you at all, it’s very kinky in nature. I just want to know how embarrassed I’m going to be on Monday when I have to see them again.”

Zeke wrapped his arms around her and held her close.

Her anxiety melted away at his touch.

“I would never put you in a position to be embarrassed. Not ever. I had outside fabricators make all the furniture. The designers helped with only the room décor and didn’t see the…accessories. The metal guys think it was all for other things and workshop stuff. No one saw the room put together. You’ll be the first.”

“Furniture? Room décor? Is that why it took longer? And why it sounded like a construction site today?”
