‘Right, I think you’d better tell me what
the hell’s going on between you and those bloody Fed.’s,’ he said, a little
more sternly than she was usually used to. Now it was Dana’s turn to be
embarrassed. Not forgetting who was actually running the show, she finally
relented, then explained what had happened, including the part about the
invasion by the men on her flat.
‘I’m glad you’ve finally told me that Dana.
Things seem to make a lot more sense now,’ he said, having sat and listened in
silence.
‘In the future though, I must insist that
you keep me informed young lady,
do you
hear?’
Leaving his office she felt just like a
child who’d been scolded after being caught out, having done something really
naughty. It had been pretty much what she’d expected however, and to be honest,
she actually felt a whole lot better now that he finally knew the whole story.
Continuing along the corridor and on entering her office, she stared hard at
the smirking agents who sat around her meeting table by the window. Dana
immediately steeled herself up for what she was about to say.
‘Gentlemen, I think it’s finally time for a
truce!’
Driving
home that evening, Dana pondered over all the day’s events, while her radio
blasted out one of her favourite tunes by Terry Reid. She loved the rawness and
passion in his vocals, and the time she’d seen him play live at The Borderline,
in Soho, London briefly swept through her mind. His voice had been so
mesmerising, that even the doormen and box office staff had come downstairs to
take a look. Dana decided that even though it had been huge struggle, it had
certainly been worth it in the end. Sitting alone that evening having heated up
the remains of the previous day’s food, which always seemed tastier the next
day, she caught up with the latest happenings in her daily newspaper. Usually
she would completely skip the page with the horoscope on it, but for some strange
reason, she decided to look at the forecast for the week ahead and promptly
read the following extract.
Scorpio
(Oct 24-Nov 22)
People naturally love solving puzzles,
but what they don’t like is discovering no definite solutions. That is the
point when they become problems. The path of the recent passing comet ran
almost perpendicular to the ecliptic, and therefore your birth sign became
disrupted and caused you quite a bit of grief. The new moon in your sign now
offers you a great chance to end any problems you may have. This will enable
you to finally lay many of those ghosts to rest.
Dana
read the item a second time and wondered if this was fate’s way of telling her
that hope was just around the corner, even though her father had always
dismissed such forecasts. It was well past ten when Dana received a call from
the evening duty officer. He informed her that a very worried sounding Mrs
Green had phoned in stating that she would only speak to Dana, before finally
leaving a contact number for her. Dana dialled this straight away and it was
literally answered on the second ring. Susan Green sounded terribly frantic at
first, but she only started to calm down a little, when Dana said she’d be
there as quickly as she could. She told the woman to sit tight and keep an eye
on Debbie and Jamie until she arrived. Maybe the stars were right after all,
she thought, as she grabbed what she needed and immediately headed straight for
the front door. Dana didn’t even bother to play any of the usual cat and mouse
with the car that followed close behind, and having parked as close to the
Green’s household as possible, neither she nor the three agents noticed that
they were being closely monitored by a sinister figure sitting across the road,
in a car with darkened windows directly opposite.
The
little Victorian cottage she’d chosen was situated in a small mews consisting
of seven similar buildings that were around the same size, with just a few subtle
changes internally. They had a set of playing fields at the far end, which was
where she now stood all alone contemplating life in general. She gazed at the
empty swings that hung abandoned, with the early morning wind rustling through
their rusty chains. This caused them to move back and forth slightly, squeaking
as they did so. Vicky had always loved children and she could almost hear the
haunting sound of children playing with happy smiling faces, whenever she
closed her eyes. Right now, it was extremely important that she put such
feelings behind her and start to concentrate solely on what needed to be done.
Richmond was pretty much empty at this
time of the day, and Vicky walked past the closed shop doorways, stopping every
now and again to glance through the occasional window, looking at some of the
goods on display. By the time she reached the far end of the high street, she
knew she’d chosen a good place to live for a while. This was somewhere where
she could take time to review any damage that Janus may have caused her, and
then she’d be able to get on with her own plans, without too many distractions.
She wasn’t sure if she’d spoken to soon, because as she passed by the local
garage Vicky witnessed an accident happening and she immediately sprung into
action.
Tim
Blake had been a hard working mechanic for the last twelve years. He’d been one
of those people who’d been fascinated by motors of any sort since childhood.
His father had died on a racetrack when he’d been only six years old, and
although his mother hated anything to do with cars, engine oil was already in
his blood. Therefore, it was far too late for him to change despite his mother
constantly nagging him, right up until the day she died. Not many people had
turned up for her funeral, and as a consequence, he just liked to keep himself
to himself and live a nice quiet life, if at all possible.
The accident had occurred without any
warning. It was something that should never have happened in the first place, as
he’d just been far too lazy to bother placing safety blocks under the car to
support it, once it had been jacked up. Therefore, he only really had himself
to blame. Tim had initially been lying underneath repairing a hole in the
exhaust pipe when the car had shifted slightly forward, as this was where most
of the weight was. With the defective jack buckling under the pressure, and
causing the whole thing to come crashing down at the front end, it inevitably
pinned him to the floor and started to get extremely heavy. With the sharp bite
of metal cutting into his upper body his breathing became erratic within
seconds. As he tried to shift his chest from the vice like grip, this only made
it increase its pressure even further. Realising he only had a short time
before he lost complete consciousness, Tim attempted to shout for help, but
only a low rasping sound escaped his lips as his life suddenly began to pass
before him.
Fortunately, Vicky had appeared outside the
garage doors just in time, and rushing forward, she simply grabbed hold of the
chassis with both hands and lifted the car from the man’s body. She pulled him
free without even thinking, before gradually lowering it back down to the
ground. Tim had still been conscious enough to see what the stranger had done.
It was a miracle that she’d been passing when she had, and he was now in a mild
state of shock as he was lifted into the back of the waiting ambulance.
Being
a bit of a flirt with the ladies, the nurses all enjoyed playing along with Tim
when they were on shift. His sense of humour certainly helped to cheer some of
the more miserable folks up in the ward, and it certainly wasn’t too long
before he was the life and soul of the party. He may have liked living the life
of someone who preferred to be more reclusive, but he already had the whole
place in absolute uproar. He also looked to be enjoying it.
During the night, Tim became quite
restless. He often dreamed of the mysterious woman who’d saved his life, and he
hoped and prayed that he’d see her again, and maybe be lucky enough to say
thank you. Therefore, he was more than pleasantly surprised during his third
day in hospital, when his prayers were finally answered. The vision he’d dreamt
of, had suddenly appeared by his bedside. She was holding a bunch of flowers
along with a get well soon card and had a big smile on her face. He couldn’t
believe his eyes at first. This woman was one of the most beautiful creatures
that he’d ever seen in his life. Yet she now stood before him, while all he
could do was stare back in amazement, with a face like a besotted schoolboy.
Realising his predicament, Vicky quickly shook hands and introduced herself,
and within a short space of time they were chatting away together like long
lost pals. It felt as if they’d known each other for years and years, and they
chatted together for a really long time.
During
the visit, one of the nurses approached the bed, and much to Vicky’s surprise,
she smiled as she held up a really mean looking syringe.
‘It’s time for your daily fix Timothy,’
she said jokingly, as Tim squirmed with embarrassment. ‘Why are men such awful
cowards?’ She added, winking at Vicky as she spoke. ‘Well you certainly weren’t
lying about one thing. She really does look like Wonder Woman. You lucky
devil!’
Tim’s face reddened, knowing that Vicky
must have heard what she had said. Yet Vicky had just smiled sweetly, before
leaning forward and whispering in his ear.
‘Don’t worry!’ She said. ‘I was sometimes
called that by some of the other students when I was at University.’ Tim let
out a gentle sigh of relief, but just as he started to apologise, Vicky placed
a finger to his lips and told him.
‘Let’s just concentrate on getting you
better first, and then we can seriously think about spending some serious time
together.’
As the afternoon quickly approached, Vicky
explained that she really needed to leave. She then leaned across and kissed
him full on the lips in front of the whole ward, while placing a soothing hand
over the dressing across his chest. The sweet smell of her perfume hung in the
air long after she’d left his bedside, and Tim had felt a deep sense of loss
having watched her disappear through the doors at the far end of the ward. He
also felt a strange warmth deep inside, that he’d never noticed before.
The
next morning, when Tim finally woke up, he suddenly discovered that he was
surrounded by a small group of students, who stood around the bed and literally
hung onto the doctors every word, while he went about doing his checks and
eventually sharing his daily prognosis with them. Absolutely amazed at what he
was being told, Tim was completely over the moon when the doctor explained that
his lungs were now completely clear of infection and his broken ribs appeared to
be healing very nicely. He announced that he was a very lucky man, who seemed
to be healing a lot quicker than anyone would have expected, and therefore
there was no reason why he wouldn’t be able to go home. Therefore, he was even
happier when Vicky arrived without any warning whatsoever, and hurriedly
approached his bed with a smile. This was swiftly followed by the fantastic
words.
‘I promised you I would return, sooner
rather than later.’
Following
her into her cottage, Tim was amazed at how large it was inside compared to the
outside. It was a little bit like the Tardis. They’d already discussed things
in detail and the outcome was that Vicky insisted on looking after him until he
was fully recovered, despite his protests. Eventually, although the fact that
he was well and truly smitten also played a part, he finally agreed, and now
sat wondering what to do next. As he watched her pottering around, he finally
summoned up enough courage to tell her.
‘You are so beautiful Vicky!’
‘Well you’re not too bad yourself,’ she
replied straightaway. ‘So at least we both know where we stand on that front,’
she added with a smile.
Having made sure that Tim was comfortably
settled down on the sofa before she entered the kitchen to make lunch, she eventually
returned to find him stretched out and sleeping like a baby. Having woken a few
hours later, feeling a little groggy, Tim found himself lying in the master
bedroom clad in just his underpants. Sitting up and looking slightly confused,
he then heard the sound of running water coming from the direction of the
bathroom.
Moments later Vicky entered and chuckled
with delight as she settled down beside him. She was not the least bit bothered
by the fact that her dressing gown had flapped open at the front and now
revealed her long shapely legs in all their splendour. Staring directly into
his eyes, she instantly felt the urgent need inside him, and knowing that she
had him exactly where she wanted, she knew he’d be like putty in her hands.
Having purposely caressed his head between her breasts, she gently pushed it
down and spread her legs before the softness of his tongue slowly went to work
on her. Vicky moaned with great pleasure as the human obliged her needs, before
eventually surfacing from her wet pit of hospitality a few minutes later.
Tracing a line with his mouth across her body, he gently worked his way back up
her thighs, tummy and breasts before finally reaching her lips. Once there,
their mouths eventually embraced, and true to her calculations, he was totally
besotted. A massive surge of excitement shot through Tim’s body, as he felt the
strength of her legs wrap around him. They clasped his body in a vice like
grip, just as his penis entered her moistness, locking their bodies together as
they became one. Once entangled, Tim felt Vicky’s body tremble just moments
before she reached orgasm. This occurred at exactly the same time as the
copious flow of his love was expelled deep inside her, and once that moment had
subsided, Tim immediately began stroking her between her legs again.
‘You’re absolutely insatiable!’ she
exclaimed out loud, loving every minute of the pleasure
that had once been one of the Dra-Na-Zee’s favourite pastimes. Tim
flinched at the pain in his ribs as he moved around on top of her, but after
another prolonged session of lovemaking, a pain in his chest suddenly lanced
through him. It came with an unexpected vengeance and forced him to drop back
against the pillows scattered just behind.
‘Careful! Let’s not strain you too much.
You still have quite a bit of healing to go through.’ Vicky told him, as her
head disappeared under the duvet and moved down the bed towards its goal. Tim
laughed as her hair tickled against his bare flesh, but he finally submitted
himself to her as he lay back and felt the warm sensation of her mouth licking
the head of his manhood.
Taking in its whole
length as she moved her head back and forth, she sucked and licked with a slow
but steady rhythm. When she eventually emerged from the covers, having finally
satisfied his needs, Tim announced in no uncertain terms, that she was the best
nurse he’d ever experienced, literally. If this was what getting better
entailed, he would just have to suffer in silence.
Moonlight
bathed the walls of the quaint little cottage with its shimmering, evening
light. Vicky could quite clearly hear the sounds of nocturnal creatures going
about their business in the sleepy neighbourhood, as she waited to ensure that
Tim was fully asleep. She much preferred him to be in that state before casting
her mind into the far reaches of the universe.
Gazing down at the empty land, which had
once long been the home of the Dra-Na-Zee, she could smell the fetid odour of
rotting corpses floating in the stale air. This happened just seconds before
the scene was filled with an extremely blinding flash, as Pagos exploded into
millions of tiny particles, destined to spend the rest of time floating in the
confines of space. Janus had observed this many times to remind him of his ultimate
goal, but Vicky now appeared to require exactly the same boost, although her
need was for entirely different reasons. If the Dra-Na-Zee could do that to
their own planet back then, then what was to stop them doing the same thing to
Earth? Not so long afterwards, Vicky re-entered her human body and felt fully
assured that the first stage in her plan was now in place. She also had someone
who’d be able to vouch for her and would quite happily lie to the authorities
in order to protect his lover, who in his eyes could do no wrong. She just had
to work on him a little bit longer, in order to make sure that she had him one
hundred percent, eating out of the palm of her hands.
Two
weeks had flown by so fast, and Tim was already back on his feet and raring to
go. He was so eager to return to work, despite Vicky telling him to rest a
little while longer. She’d really helped by visiting the garage each day to
check that things were okay and to collect his mail for him. Following further
discussions, they’d moved a few of his belongings into her cottage together,
mostly on her insistence, and by the following week, Tim was soon back into the
swing of things. He spent a bit of extra time catching up on the backlog of
work, although it really wasn’t all that bad, and felt exceptionally pleased
that his regular customers had stuck by him, rather than take their vehicles
elsewhere. Tim was extremely lucky to have so much support, and many of them
asked him about the mysterious woman who’d nursed him back to normality,
wanting to know when they’d get a chance to meet her.
