Chapter Two
I ran towards the main entrance as fast as I could, finally stumbling to the front entrance and getting a lot of confused looks. I was breathing heavily and I willed myself to calm down, not wanting to sweat like a pig and ruin my hair and makeup—well, ruin my lip gloss anyway.
I straightened and refused to look back again, taking the stone steps quickly and walking into the main foyer of Wolf Lodge. Bodies swarmed around, each one of them dressed in
an
extravagant costume

with
flutes of bubbling yellow liquid in their hands.
I looked at the massive grandfather clock, the top portion of it carved into a giant wolf head with its mouth open. It was almost nine o’clock and I searched around, trying to see if I was able to see Lukas and Isaac. Most of the time it was easy to spot them, their towering height making them stand out like a sore thumb, but tonight proved a little more difficult.
“Can I take your basket
,
Miss?”
I turned
to look
and an older balding man
stood close
, his smile sweet and genuine as he gestured towards my picnic basket. I shook my head

“

s all part of my allure.” His smile grew bigger and he bowed at the waist, making his way towards another new guest. I looked at the sea of bodies, half of them so tall and heavily muscled
,
I
knew I would never find my two guys.
The whole lower level was open for the party, many of the rooms having different games, dancing, even a haunted house for the guests. I walked into one of the rooms—the game room by the looks of it. There was bobbing for apples, pin the tail on the zombie—
who was
drunk—and a whole slew of other things to keep the intoxicated patrons happy.
I left and made my way towards another room, this one being the haunted house. Female shrieks and gasps came from behind the wooden walls that had been erected, along with spooky music playing overhead and equally frightening decorations
hanging
from the ceiling.
I spotted a bar and made my way towards it, trying to move through the thick
mass
of people and the fog that covered the ground
thanks to the dry ice. I squeezed between Frankenstein and a mummy, both of them impossibly tall and pack

with
muscle that was evident even through their costumes.
I ordered a shot of whisky, not even liking that kind of liquor but figuring since it was free I might as well get the strong stuff. I turned around and scanned the crowd, getting bored with the screaming females and deciding to check out another room.
I grabbed my basket, coming to the conclusion that I was only going to give Lukas and Isaac another ten minutes to show up before I called them. I walked out of the room and
through
the foyer, heading straight ahead and entering the main ballroom. Tables were set up against the walls so that the dance floor was left open, everything from an apple to a

I zeroed in on the bar where ‘free drinks’ flashed in front of me, and made my way over. I stood behind a woman who was dressed like Dorothy, her blue gingham dress and twin

braids topping off the ensemble. Two men flanked her, both dressed as lions and dwarfing her small frame. She turned to the side to speak with one of them and that’s when I recognised her. “Alice?” She turned around, a smile going across her face as she
recognised
me too.
“Scarlett! Hi, how are you?”
The two lions both turned around and I raised an eyebrow as I eyed their costumes. Here stood two of the most powerful men I knew, Killian and Kale St. James—the owners of Wolf Lodge—aka, my bosses. I wasn’t surprised they were both with her at the party—it was public knowledge that the three of them were in a romantic relationship. I raised an eyebrow because these two men screamed strength and authority, yet they were both dressed as the cowardly lion.
“Don’t even say it
,
Scarlett.”
I laughed at Killian’s comment and Kale’s scowl. It didn’t matter that they were my employers. Everyone who worked at Wolf Lodge was incredibly easygoing and fun. I held my hands up in surrender, not about to even go there.
“When I told them I was going as Dorothy, they fought over who would be the lion. I told them one of them should go as the scarecrow, but I guess that’s not manly enough.”
I didn’t hold in my laugh as Alice spilled the beans. Killian and Kale looked at her and growled before turning around and ordering their drinks. The three of them left and I waved goodbye just as I felt my basket start to vibrate. I dug around until I found my cell. I ordered another shot of whisky before flipping my phone open without looking at the caller ID. “Hello?” I could bar

hear who was on the other line and grabbed my drink. I headed out of the ballroom and behind the stairs, the noise seeming to blend away slightly. “Hello?”
“Where are you? We’ve been searching for you for the last ten minutes.”
I smiled at Lukas’ irritated voice and stuck my head around the wall trying to see if I could spot them. “I’m behind the stairs in the main foyer. Where are you guys anyway?”
“We’re in a room with a lot of annoying female screams. Stay put!”
I hung up the phone and leaned against the wall, sipping my Crown when I

w I should have just tossed it down my throat. A minute later I heard two distinct male grumbles and then saw them as they both rounded the corner. I stared at them, containing my laughter as I took in their costumes. “You have got to be kidding.” They both looked at me innocently.
“What?”
“How did you know I was going to be Little Red Riding Hood?”
“We didn’t. How did
you
know we were going as wolves?”
I shook my head and smiled as Isaac came up and wrapped his huge arms around me. I stood on my toes and gave his cheek a kiss, moving over to Lukas and doing the same. I stepped back and stared at them, their scents washing through me and making my nipples tingle. I really shouldn’t be feeling the way I felt towards them, but it just felt so natural it was hard to stop the reaction they caused inside me.
They both wore full
-
body furry wolf costumes, their bright cobalt eyes standing out in stark contrast with the black fur of the costumes. I could see their dark hair sticking out from under their hats—hats that were topped off with little pointy wolf ears. They had to be the most non-threatening and cute wolves I had ever seen. “You guys are too
stinkin
’ cute for your own good.” They both groaned and rolled their eyes.
“We’re not ‘cute’, Scarlett. We’re big, powerful men that intimidate people.” Lukas scowled and I laughed.
“Are you guys ready to party or what?”
Two hours later and I was trashed. I sat on the stairs and stared at the front door, the room slightly spinning, but in a good way. I had lost Lukas and Isaac about ten minutes ago, but figured I should just stay put and hopefully I’d see them soon. A few minutes later I saw my two boys coming out of the ballroom, smiles on their faces as they held hands. They both spotted me at the same time and made a beeline towards me.
“You are so fucked up, Scarlett.”
I laughed. I couldn’t help it. I always thought it was funny when they cursed
—
well, that
,
and I really was fucked up. “I think it’s time for me to go home.” I saw the way they both looked at each other and groaned. “It will be fine. I’ll just take the shortcut through the woods and be home in no time.”
“Not tonight honey. It’s late and you never know what kind of wild animals are lurking out there.”
Isaac came up to me and wrapped his hands around my waist, lifting me up easily and steadying me. The room really started to spin and I gripped both of their arms.
“The big bad wolf could be out there just waiting to eat Little Red Riding Hood.”
Lukas was right beside me, his breath wafting across my ear as he whispered the words. I shivered as I looked over at him. He was so close that I got a concentrated dose of his purely male scent. I instantly became wet and looked away, feeling ashamed of my reaction.
I looked over at Isaac, startled to see he was just as close, his eyes staring at my mouth as his breathing quickened. My nipples became hard and my whole body tingled with arousal. I broke away from them, embarrassed that my body was reacting like this. These were my two
gay
best friends. I was only setting myself up for misery.
I looked between them, both of their bodies tall and muscular, both of them emitting pure male power that made me dizzy. “I need to go home and sleep off the drunken stupor I’m in. Are you guys coming or staying?”
They both looked at each other before smiling and saying in unison,
“C

Chapter Three
“I can’t believe you guys are really making me do this. You know I’m not a child.” I held both of their hands as they helped me up the steps to their house. They had refused to let me go home alone, saying they wanted to make sure I didn’t choke on my own vomit in the middle of the night. They always did have a way with words. I didn’t put up too much of a fight because I was too sloshed, and just the thought of making the trek back to my house alone and inebriated left a bad taste in my mouth.
Once we made it back to my house they unlocked the door and pushed it open, helping me as I stumbled inside. I let go of their hands and walked over to the couch, falling haphazardly on the cushions and sighing in pleasure. The room still spun, and now that my eyes were closed it only intensified it.
My feet were killing me and I kicked off my heels. I tried to get comfortable, giving up and pulling myself upright as I started to undo the laces on my corset. My eyes were still closed so it proved a rather hard task. “Help,” I murmured the word, blowing out air as I opened my eyes and tried to focus on my blurry surroundings.
Lukas and Isaac came into my view and smiled. “There are my two favourite guys in the whole wide world. Can you please help me?” I closed my eyes and heard them chuckle. I opened then again and held my arms up. “I need to get off this couch and get this damn thing off.” Isaac took my outstretched hands and pulled me up.
His arms went around my waist and turned me around so my back was to him and my head was against his chest. I felt him kiss the top of my head as Lukas started tugging at my corset laces. “I love you guys.” I know my words were slurred and that made me smile. I was a sloppy drunk, what could I say?
“We love you too, baby.”
I cracked an eye open at Lukas’ comment and smiled. “Now don’t you boys get any
ideas.
” Isaac chuckled behind me and moved my hair off of my shoulder. I relaxed in his hold, letting the rhythmic tug of Lukas undoing the lacing soothe me.
“You need to sleep this off, Scarlett.”
Isaac’s deep voice speared through my alcohol induced trance and right to my clit. I squirmed a little bit, regretting the movement as it caused my labia to slide together. I let out a breath when Lukas finally got the corset off. I only wore a white blouse underneath—no bra—so I know they could see my nipples. It was a shame really, having two incredibly gorgeous guys so close but not being able to touch them.
I opened my eyes and stared at Lukas. He watched me with a strange expression on his face, and I turned my head to look at Isaac, whose face which held the same look. “What’s with you guys?” They both shook their heads as Isaac led me to the couch.
“You can sleep with us if you want. It has to be a lot more comfortable than the couch.”
As tempting as that was, I couldn’t even move. The room was spinning so bad I thought I was going to throw up.
“She’s looking kind of green,
Luk
.”
I cracked an eye open and saw Lukas squat in front of me with a glass of water in his hands and two Ibuprofens in the other.
“You are my hero right now.” He gave me a half smile and popped the two pills in my mouth and brought the glass to my lips. I laid my head back and closed my eyes, smiling when I felt a thick blanket cover me. “Night, guys.”
“So I guess that’s a no on the sleeping in our bed?”
I shook my head and mumbled a reply. I heard them chuckling as the lights went out and their bedroom door shut.
* * * *
I opened my eyes and blinked a couple of times. The room was
pitch
black, the only light coming from the time that was displayed on the DVR. I was half off and half on the couch and pulled myself up. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. I didn’t feel too drunk anymore, but I did have a massive headache.
I got up and went into the kitchen and poured myself a big glass of water. I drank half of it in one gulp and about choked on the rest when I heard deep moaning. I looked to my left and listened again, thinking I might have just been hearing things. When I didn’t hear anything else, I passed it off as just my imagination.
I set the cup in the sink and went back to the couch. I closed my eyes and snapped them back open again when I heard the deep male moan again. I winced and scrubbed my hand over my face. Of course this would happen to me. As the grunts continued I felt myself start to get aroused and immediately felt ashamed.
