I
quickly finished showering. That was just what I needed. I'd had my
release and was ready to take on the evening. In a few hours, I knew
I would be hanging with my best friend. It was something I hadn't
done in a very long time. I grabbed a pair of black pants and pulled
on a nice dress shirt. Then I grabbed my wallet, phone, and keys
before slipping my shoes back on. I ran my fingers through my wet
hair to make sure it looked okay.

As
soon as I stepped out the hotel door, I stopped frozen and my cock
stirred in my boxers. Tina was walking toward the parking lot away
from me. She had on a black dress that clung to her curves perfectly.
I wanted to grab her by the waist and claim that mouth of hers. She
had on black heels that made her calves sexier than I had ever seen
them. It was so strange seeing her in a dress. When she was younger,
her mom couldn't pay her to wear one. She'd literally have to bribe
her or it wasn't happening. She had her hair curled, and I wanted to
see her face so badly. I couldn't help but wonder if she had makeup
on. I bet her lips were red and inviting. Damn, I thought. Everything
I had done in the shower was a waste. That release hadn't done shit
for me. There was so much tension running through my body, and I had
no idea what I was going to about it. I walked slowly behind her and
saw Mr. Wonderful leaning up against her car. He let out a loud
whistle as she approached. I made sure to hang back until they were
in the car and gone. The fucker didn't even open the door for her.
What a piece of work.

I
let out a huff, as I pushed off of the building I was leaning against
and stormed toward my car. At least I had driving to look forward to.
It was going to be a long night after all.

Chapter

Tina

I
walked into that restaurant dressed better than I had ever dressed in
my life. Chris had talked me into bringing a dress, and he was right.
As soon as my mom's eyes landed on me, she was out of her chair in
seconds. I couldn't help but laugh at the shocked expression on her
face. Her eyes were bugging out of her head, and she had a silly
smile on her face. She wrapped her arms around me, and I leaned in
close to her ear.

Not
a word,” I said with a tiny laugh.

You
look beautiful,” she said. “My baby is so grown up.”

I
pulled back from her and smiled as my brother gave me the same
expression.

Shut
it,” I mouthed in his direction.

He
laughed and shook his head but didn't say a word.

My
dad was walking toward the table from wherever he was and pulled me
into a hug.

Love
you, baby girl,” he said with a smile.

Love
you too, dad,” I said, as I nuzzled into his chest and thought
about how much I missed feeling safe in his arms.

I
grabbed Chris by the hand and pulled him toward the table. The guy I
was standing up with looked up at me. I saw him smile but then
instantly remove it and look back to his menu. He looked so nervous,
and I couldn't help but think about what he had said earlier. I made
a mental note to ask him about it later.

I
stood up on my toes and whispered in Chris' ear.

Has
nobody ever seen a girl in a dress before?” I asked.

Not
as smoking hot as you,” he said. “You really do look
beautiful.”

I
sat down, and Chris sat down next to me. We picked up the menus, and
I was shocked by the prices. It was a newer restaurant that wasn't
around when I lived there. Renee loved it. I couldn't believe my
parents were paying for such an expensive dinner. When I looked down
toward my mom, she knew exactly what I was thinking and nodded at me.
How could she still read my mind after so much time away from each
other, I wondered?

I
felt him before I saw him. There was a breeze, and I felt a warmth
move up my arms. I shook slightly at the strange feeling I felt.
Jackson walked around the table and took the only open seat. It just
happened to be across from me and next to Bridget. I kept my eyes
glued to the menu. There was no way I was going to let him see how my
body reacted to him being near. His eyes were on me. I knew they
were. I could feel them. He could see straight through me, at least
that was what it felt like.

I
heard my mom talking to him, so I let my eyes move up just over my
menu. My breath caught in my throat. His hair was still damp from the
shower he must have taken after the rehearsal. It hung in front of
his eyes just enough to make want to move my fingers through it to
move it back. His eyes shifted slowly from my mom and moved around
the table, stopping on me. I moved mine quickly back down to my menu.

Is
everything okay, Tiny?” he asked.

I
looked up at him and pulled my bottom lip between my teeth.

What?”
I asked quietly.

You
made a noise just now. I just wanted to make sure you were okay,”
he said.

Fine,”
I answered. “Just peachy.”

I
felt Chris push his leg against mine and looked up at him. He leaned
down next to my ear.

You
totally made a sex noise,” he whispered. “It's me you
should be directing those noises at.”

I
let out a tiny giggle and could feel Jackson's eyes harden on me. No
joke. I wasn't even looking at him, and I felt it.

A
few seconds later, I caught myself wondering what his wet hair would
feel like in my fingers with his body on top of mine and my mouth
claiming his. I wiggled a bit in my seat to try and get rid of the
feelings I was feeling everywhere.

I
was so glad the waiter asked what I wanted to drink. My mind needed
to stay in the present, the time that Jackson wanted nothing to do
with me. I would not normally even think about having a drink in
front of my parents, but I had to do it. There was no way I was going
to make it through dinner without something to calm my nerves. I
ordered a glass of wine and knew my mom was watching me, so I looked
over at her with a huge smile on my face. She cracked a smile and
shook her head. Chris ordered a beer, and the waiter moved on.

Before
long, we had all ordered and gotten our dinners. Conversation
traveled smoothly around the table. I couldn't help but watch my dad
joking with Jackson and the way my mom adored him. What a piece of
work, I thought. He could get anyone to fall in love with him in
seconds. That hadn't changed since high school. There was always a
girl falling at his feet. In the case of the rehearsal dinner, it was
Bridget. I could tell the way Renee and my brother kept looking
between Jackson and Bridget with smiles on their faces. They had it
all planned out. Somehow they thought she was going to bring Jackson
to his knees as he fell deeply in love with her. It made me want to
puke. I was so glad that nobody could read my thoughts at that
moment. I was being a child, and I knew it.

Over
the course of dinner Bridget moved closer and closer to Jackson. She
was playing with her hair and smiling over at him. When she rubbed
her elbow against his, I caught myself cracking my knuckles. Of
course his ass had to look across the table at me. He looked over at
her and smiled. If either of their hands moved beneath that table, I
knew I would have lost it. She asked him if he could reach the pepper
for her in the sweetest whisper, with her face close to his. To close
for me. He handed it to her with a huge smile.

Anything
for a beautiful woman,” he said.

Without
thinking, my foot moved under the table right in his direction. I
felt the heel of my shoe connect.

Ouch,”
he snapped.

Oh,”
I giggled. “Sorry about that. I didn't realize your leg was so
long, Jackie. Did I get you with my heel?”

He
let out a growl but didn't say a word. I looked back down at my food
and continued eating. His ass turned up the heat on his flirting. He
had no idea who he was messing with. I turned toward Chris and leaned
in close to his ear. When he turned his head, I ran my fingers
through the back of his hair and kissed him hard. He didn't hold back
and kissed me in return. I was surprised and thrilled. Then I heard
another growl from across the table. Take that, punk, I thought. When
Bridget touched his arm and asked if he was okay, I stood up from the
table and excused myself. I had to get away for a moment. It was all
too much. I couldn't jump Chris at the table, and I couldn't reach
out and snatch her hand off of Jackson. The restroom would be fine,
so I headed in that direction.

There
was a small sitting area around the corner just next to the restroom,
so I sat down for a minute. When I heard his voice, I peeked around
the corner. Jackson was standing to the side with the waiter from our
table. He was out of vision of my parents and everyone else. I
watched Jackson hand the guy a credit card. He stood and waited for
the man to come back. I watched him sign the receipt and heard him
say something about not telling them. Then Jackson stuck the card and
receipt back in his wallet, put the wallet in his back pocket, and
walked back to the table. What the heck was that, I wondered?

I
waited a moment before returning to the table. He didn't know that I
had seen him, and I was going to figure out what he was upto.

Jackson

I
watched Tina as she walked back to take her place at the table. That
dress fit her perfectly. Did she know how beautiful she was, I
wondered? There was something in her expression. I couldn't tell what
she was thinking, but I wanted to figure it out.

Everyone
seemed like they were getting restless. I knew I was ready to get out
of there. Tim's mom and dad sat waiting. When the waiter walked up,
their dad asked him for the check. The poor waiter looked nervous as
he spoke. I'd tipped him way more than enough and knew he wouldn't
let me down.

The
bill's already been taken care of,” the waiter said.

How
can that be?” my dad asked.

Someone
called earlier today and paid it,” the man said.

Who?”
my dad asked.

I'm
not sure, sir. I was just told it was taken care of,” he said.
“You all have a great night.”

The
waiter hurried to get the hell out of there. I was in the clear. Tina
looked up at me, and our eyes connected. She opened her mouth and all
she got out was the J sound of my name when I returned the favor from
earlier and kicked her under the table.

Ouch,”
she yelped.

I
narrowed my eyes at her for just a second before smiling.

Oh,
sorry,” I said. “It's those long legs. I didn't realize
my foot was on your side of the table.”

She
glared at me, and I knew her mouth was about to explode. I stood from
the table quickly.

You
ready, Tim,” I said.

Of
course,” Tim said, as he stood from his chair.

Take
care of my man,” Renee said. “You promised to have him to
the church on time.”

I
promise,” I said with a smile. “I just want my boy to
have a night of fun before signing his life away.”

Very
funny, Jackson,” Renee said.

I'd
do anything for him,” I said. “He'll be there.”

Tim
hugged his woman and parents before moving around the table to Tina.
He wrapped his arms around her and held her so tight. You couldn't
help but see the love he had for his sister.

You
look so beautiful,” he told her. “I want to talk to you
tomorrow. You're not flying home until Sunday night, right?”
