Her hand remained locked around his shaft as she sucked and teased the top of the sensitive tip with her tongue and teeth, making it shiver with soft nibbles, while she continued to stroke the skin. She held his erection back as she took the soft flesh of his testicles in her mouth and juggled them in between her tongue, before licking his erection up and down, drenching it in her saliva. She looked up at him with desire in her eyes, then opened her mouth wide and took every inch he had, feeling his body tense as a result.

His hands were clamped around her head and held her close to him before letting her come back up, gasping for air as she was breathless. She sucked and teased his erection some more, until her jaw ached, wanting to give him as much pleasure as she had felt moments before. But Jack had other ideas. He grabbed a fistful of her hair and dragged her up to her feet. Pain blurred with pleasure as Scarlett felt herself thrown against the side of the desk, the breath driven from her lungs. The hard wood dug into her stomach as Jack used his strength to push her head down against the surface of the desk and hold her there. She tried to twist her head to watch but she couldn't move, and could only feel the passion and the pleasure as he took his hard, rampant erection and slid it in between her wet lips, going deeper than any other man had gone before. Feeling him inside made her delirious and when he started thrusting, it sent waves of hedonistic pleasure surging through her body, overwhelming her mind, making her forget where she was and what was going on. Sweat streamed down her skin and small explosions erupted all over her body as she felt him screw her from behind, his hips pounding against her, getting faster and harder with every moment. Her face contorted with delight as her mind cracked and she was rendered speechless. Never did she know that it could be like this.

She braced herself for the pleasure as she felt Jack's body tense and his groans get ever more strained but he wasn't done yet. He pulled himself out and turned her body around, then pinned her to the desk and kissed her deeply as he fucked her until she could take no more. Their bodies slammed against each other and Scarlett thought the desk was on the verge of breaking with the force they were putting on it. She could see in his eyes that Jack was close, his hips moved like pistons and he buried himself in the nape of her neck, pressing his lips close to her body as the passion swept through him and exploded out in a thick jet, rendering her utterly speechless and drained.

Chapter 8

Scarlett was feeling elated and she was sure that when she came out of Jack's office, everyone else knew what had taken place. But she didn't care. She gave a wink to Mandy, and Mandy looked shocked. For the rest of the day and night, Scarlett kept replaying the naughty afternoon session in her mind, and as she lay in bed she ran her hands down her body and felt the flush of arousal again as she let her imagination run free and unfettered. The two of them had experienced a real and deep connection. Scarlett's body was still raw and aching, but her heart was filled with hope.

However, when she went into work the next day with the hope of seeing Jack again she realized that he wasn't in his office. When she asked Mandy, she was told that Jack had gone again, and Scarlett felt used. Had all that talk between them just been a way for him to get some afternoon fun in the office? He'd seemed so genuine; she couldn't believe that the sensations they had shared could be faked. A dark cloud hung over her head for the rest of the day. Just when she felt like this could be something new and meaningful, it was taken away again, and she felt a resentment build up in her heart. No wonder she chose to focus on her career when this was the extent of her romantic relationships.

Throughout the day she was working like a demon in her office and didn't dare to venture out because she felt embarrassed that she'd let Jack take advantage of her. She knew that the rest of the office must be laughing at her now—the new girl who was swept away by the dark charm of the reclusive billionaire. To top it all off, she had another delivery: another bouquet of flowers. This time, she didn't even bother reading the card because the last thing she needed was to think about Matt. As far as she was concerned, she wasn't even going to try any more because it only brought disappointment. Her parents would be unhappy with her, but she hoped that wherever Lisa was, she would understand.

Without ceremony, she tossed the beautiful bouquet of flowers in the trash can and got back to work, resigning herself to a life of loneliness. But if she had been more thoughtful and read the card, she would have changed her mind.

Because the flowers weren’t from Matt at all.

They were from Jack.

But as Scarlett typed away at her computer, the message remained unread; and unless she hunted through the trash, she would never know what it said...

About the Author

Ava May knew she wanted to be a romance writer ever since she read "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks - when she was eight years old. While her friends were reading The Baby-Sitters Club, she would be tucked away in a library corner reading Harlequins. You could say she was rebellious in her own way.
Today, Ava writes taboo romance novels out of her cozy home in Seattle, where she lives with her husband Jack and their adorable Cocker Spaniel, Daisy. When she's not dreaming up spicy storylines, she's in the yoga studio perfecting her Lord of the Dance pose.
