Kelly’s Superfoods
We hear a lot these days about the so-called “superfoods” that help to lower our risk of certain diseases. I’m not a nutritionist (and I don’t even play one on television) but this is a list of my own fave foods and why I like them so much—some, like spinach and salmon, are the ones that appear on everyone’s superfood list, and others are my personal favorites.
SPINACH: It’s loaded with flavonoids (antioxidants) and help to fight off cancer.
SOY MILK: It’s high in protein, has more fiber than cow’s milk, and contains isoflavones that help prevent cancer and osteoporosis.
