Josh
brushed a strand of hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear.
He leaned in and kissed her forehead. She wrapped her arms around
him and hugged him, as she looked into his dark, loving eyes. Her
body relaxed and her fear left her. How did he do that, just by
looking at her. He always made her feel safe and protected. She
stretched her neck and placed her lips on his. His body was warm and
inviting. He licked across her bottom lip before holding it between
his teeth and softly sucking it. Lisa loved when he was gentle and
loving, just as much as she loved it when he was commanding and in
charge. She parted her lips and slid her tongue across his as she ran
her fingers through his soft, silky hair. He was the sexiest man she
had ever seen. His hands rubbed and kneaded her back as they kissed.
He was amazing, and he was hers.

“I
need a shower before I go. Would you like to join me?” he
asked.

“I
wouldn't want you to go to your meeting dirty,” she said.

Josh
slid from the bed and let the sheet fall, as he stood up. She watched
his sexy, naked body as he walked to the bathroom. How did she get so
lucky, she wondered? Just looking at his hard chest and chiseled abs
sent a chill through her body. He was sweet, caring, and wonderful.
The beauty of his perfect body was an added bonus. A bonus she
appreciated as often as she could. Lisa stood up and followed him.

He
was already standing under the warm water, when she reached for the
shower door. Lisa slid in quietly. His eyes were closed as he let the
water run down his body. Why that turned her on so much, she had no
idea. Lisa ran her fingers up and down his chest slowly. She reached
up, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled his lips to hers. He
was driving her wild without doing anything. Her lips plunged against
his as she claimed his mouth. Lisa felt the need to mark him as hers.
A rush of need surrounded her and she wanted him bad. His wet hair
felt amazing between her fingers. Josh eyes opened wide with shock.

“What's
gotten into you this morning? I like this side of you,” he
said.

“I
need you, Josh,” she whispered into his ear, as she kissed his
neck.

Josh
pulled back and his eyes scanned her whole body.

“You
are so beautiful.”

He
kissed her neck and down her chest. His hand cupped her breast while
his mouth claimed the other. His tongue licked and sucked her nipple
as it hardened in his mouth. Her head fell back as she moaned. She
arched her back, pushing her body into his touch. He made his way
slowly to her other breast to show it the same attention. She kept
her hands of the back of his head, holding him against her. His hand
made its way down her smooth stomach and over her mound. He slid his
fingers across her warm, wet path as his palm brushed against her
clit.

“You're
so wet and ready for me, baby,” he growled, which made her grab
onto his neck.

Her
hand made its way down his sculpted body until she reached his
extremely hard cock.

“Shit,
Josh,” she breathed, as she buried her face in his neck.

She
gripped onto his shaft and began to stroke him. His breath escaped
him in one long stream as he plunged one finger into her warm, wet
pussy. She felt her body push against his hand, as he took his finger
in and out of her, before adding a second finger. Lisa could feel the
water slide off of them both together. She wanted him and wasn't
about to wait. Something about that moment, she wanted him to take
her hard and fast. His fingers drove deeper and harder into her as
she released her moans.

“Oh,
Josh, please.”

“What
baby, tell me what you want. I want to hear you say it.”

“I
want you. I need you inside of me now.”

She
pulled him to her and tightened her arms around his neck as his mouth
crushed against hers with need. He pushed his body against her as she
went against the wall. She could feel how hard he was against her
lower belly. Lisa felt herself squirm against him. She kept her arms
around his neck and kissed him with all that she had. He grabbed her
leg and pulled it up against his waist. Then he grabbed the other and
picked her up to him. She held her legs around his waist with her
back against the shower wall. The water splashed off of their heated
bodies. She could feel the tip of his cock against her opening and
waited for him to enter her. He continued kissing her and feeling her
body. She moved her body over his tip, encouraging him to take her.
It was like he was teasing her. She looked into his darkened eyes and
felt the need pouring from him.

“Fuck.
Me. Now.” she demanded.

Josh
smiled at her as he plunged into her, taking her breath away. She
held him tight and pulled her chest against his as he filled her. He
felt bigger than before. She wanted every bit of him inside of her.
Lisa needed him. He held her back against the wall as he fucked her
hard. She slid up and down the wall. It was amazing. She knew she was
going to shower with him more often. Lisa clutched his back in her
hands as she let her head lean back. He pumped into her hard and
deep.

“You
feel so good wrapped around me. Do you know how good you feel? I
don't think I'll ever get enough of you,” he moaned.

She
gasped as he tightened his grip on her hips and thrust into her hard,
as if his life depended on it.

“Yes,
Josh, oh yes,” she moaned, as she bit her bottom lip. “Oh,
Fuck, yeah.”

Lisa
felt herself go over the edge, as she tightened around his cock over
and over. He followed right behind her as he shoved her hard against
the wall and thrust into her as deep as he could. He released into
her over and over as he rode out his orgasm, with one hand behind her
head against the wall. He leaned into her and held her there until
their breathing returned to normal. Her feet slid to the floor as her
legs shook. She looked into his eyes, as he held his forehead against
hers.

“I
am the luckiest man in the world,” he said with a smile.

She
ran her hand down the stubble on his chin and smiled at him.

“That
is something I could get used to,” she smirked. “It
didn't hurt you did it?”

“It
was well worth it,” he laughed.

When
Josh left for his meeting, Lisa began to clean up the house. She was
wiping the counter as she looked up at the calendar, confused. Her
eyes widened. She finished what she was doing. Josh would be gone for
at least another hour. She put on her shoes, grabbed her purse, and
headed to her car. She had plenty of time before he would be home.

***

When
Josh walked back into the apartment, everything was silent. He was in
such a good mood. It was going to be a great afternoon. He placed the
large bag he was carrying on the table just inside the front door.
Josh was ready. It was time. He crossed the room and looked around
the corner. He saw Lisa sitting at their table, with her back to him.
Josh quietly walked across the room, went down on one knee, and began
to speak. He saw her startle at his first word but kept going. There
was no way he was losing his thought.

“Lisa,
I love you with every single bit of me. I used to watch you sit on
that porch for hours, as you watched me. It didn't matter what I was
doing, you made it seem like it was the most important thing in the
world. You were adorable. Who knew that silly girl would steal my
heart?”

She
looked down at the table.

“When
Gavin called me that night and told me it was you in that fire, my
chest tightened. I knew I had to be there. I enjoyed every moment of
taking care of you and getting to know the real you. I appreciated
every tiny second with you. I fought love, because I didn't want to
lose anyone like I had lost my dad. You pushed past every wall I
threw up. You asked me questions and cared about me. I blocked you
and you pushed it aside. You jumped right in to help me with the
business and never expected anything in return. I love watching you
with my family. That day my brother asked you out, I thought he was a
goner. I was so mad. I knew I didn't have any claim to you, but that
didn't matter. It was then that I realized my feelings were so
strong. He wasn't good enough for you. Heath wasn't good enough for
you. I couldn't think of anyone that was good enough for you. There
was no one who could take care of you and love you, not like I
could.”

She
still hadn't looked over at him, but he kept going.

“When
you told me you were moving out, I was crushed. I couldn't imagine
being here without you. You belonged here with me. I saw that ad and
those boxes on your bed and felt helpless. How could I get you to
stay? In that fire, you were all I could think about. I remember
being stuck and thinking that I had to make it out, so I could tell
you I loved you. When I woke up and felt you there, I knew everything
was going to be okay. I knew that whatever shape I was in, you would
be there for me. You would help me through it. When the nurse told me
that my wife was amazing and had not left the hospital for one
moment, I knew you were mine. You would be mine forever. I love you
more and more with each day that passes. I am still afraid of losing
you. That part hasn't changed. I know that I want to enjoy every
second I have with you. I will never regret taking that chance. You
have changed me for the better. You deserve the best of everything. A
man to protect you, care for you, show you how special you are, and
put your needs before his. I am that man, Lisa. I want to be there
for you until I take my last breath. I want to love you every moment
of every day. Will you let me be that man for you? Lisa, will you
marry me?”

Josh
pulled out a box and opened it. Lisa turned to him with tears
streaming down her face. She sat silent for what seemed like forever.
Lisa looked into his eyes.

“You
have no idea how many times in my life I have dreamt of you asking me
that. I can't believe it is really happening.”

“Is
that a yes?” he asked.

“I
need to tell you something first,” she said, as tears continued
to run from her eyes.

Josh
saw how red and puffy her eyes and cheeks were. It hadn't just
started. He realized she had been crying before he got there. He felt
his chest tighten and a nervousness run through his body.

“Please
do not tell me you are leaving. I am not letting you run from me. I
won't let you do it.”

Lisa
wiped the tears from her eyes as she tried to form her words. He
could tell she was afraid of what she was about to tell him, and it
scared the shit out of him.

“You
know I was on that medicine after I hurt my ankle and things were
super crazy. I was stressed out about going back to work. I wasn't
sure if I was ready, but I knew I had to get back on my feet so I
could get back on my own. I needed to get away from my feelings for
you. When I got home from that flight, I didn't know what I was going
to do, but I knew I couldn't work there anymore. I was nervous and
scared. You remember that night right?” she asked.

“I
remember that night very well. It was the best moment of my entire
life. I had been so afraid that you were gone. Every single emotion I
had seeped out me as I made love to you. There is not a single thing
I would change about that,” he answered.

He
leaned forward and took her hands in his. Where was she going with
it? He couldn't figure out what she about to say. It was the best
sexual experience of his life. He let out a long, slow breath as he
braced himself for what she was about to say.

“I
don't know if I can do this,” she said, as her hands shook in
his.

“Lisa,
I love you. I won't let you push me away. You can tell me anything. I
won't be mad, I promise. Talk to me.”

“I
started to work for you and got really into what we were doing. Then
the fire happened and everything went crazy again. I was there with
you, and all I could think about, was you waking up and getting
better. When you came home, I wanted to take care of you. Then there
was the wedding. I lost track of time and everything. Things were so
busy. This morning, I was cleaning and realized something. I went to
the store while you were gone.”

She
stopped and looked down at her hands. He was about to lose it. The
pressure was to much. He was proposing to her. It was supposed to be
a happy moment, but he was scared.

“Okay,
you went to the store. You're killing me here. Please tell me what
you need to tell me.”

“I'm
pregnant, Josh,” she said, as the tears spilled out of her
eyes. “I'm sorry. I was on the pill. I didn't do anything to
deceive you. I was on the pill. I feel so bad. You went to reach for
a condom that night and I stopped you. It's my fault.”

She
wouldn't look into his eyes.

“Do
you regret that you're pregnant?” he asked.

Did
she not want a baby?

“Oh
no, not at all,” she said. “I don't want you to think
that. I am very happy about the baby. I will raise this baby and give
this baby the best life I can. I love the baby so much already. It's
not that. I feel bad. You wanted to protect yourself and I stopped
you. I had no idea this could happen. I feel like I put you in a
position you didn't want to be in, and I am sorry for that. I promise
you that I didn't think this could happen. I didn't think I could get
pregnant. I love you, josh. I love you more than I ever thought I
could love someone. You make me so happy. You make me feel like the
only woman in the world. I don't want you to feel obligated at all.
It was completely my fault. You can go back to your normal life. I
can go and stay with Becky and Gavin until I get back on my feet. I
feel horrible for putting you in a position you did not want to be
in.”

Josh
held his hand up to stop her.
