COMING NEXT: BOOK 3 VILLA JULIA

It’s summer once more in southwest France, time to head for the coast, for Biarritz and Villa Julia.

It’s been an eventful year for Caroline and Edward, starting their life together in Toulouse. A new job for Caroline, a wedding to plan. And what about Irish Jill and her Hot Basque? How have they been surviving the difficulties of a long distance relationship and a mind-bending communication system? It’s two years since we first met the Parisian twins, Claudie and Jean-Paul. This year they’ll be at the villa again, with or without significant others.

And how is Baby Joshua? He’s growing into a big boy now, eighteen months old. What changes has this last year brought for him and his parents?

CATCH UP: BOOK 1 BIARRITZ PASSION.
This is where it all began...

Caroline MacDonald’s life is spinning out of control. A nasty ex-boyfriend, a mind-numbing job and a manipulative sister who talks her into a holiday she doesn’t want. But Caroline is in for a surprise, finding herself falling in love–with Biarritz, the Basque country, and new man on the scene, Edward Rayburn. Temperatures soar, and Caroline and Edward are drawn to each other in a slow burning romance as electric as the storm clouds gathering over the Atlantic. With passions mounting, scheming sister Annabel must intervene to get what she wants, setting in motion a series of dramatic events that could ruin everything.

About the author

Laurette was born in Halifax, Yorkshire, and took her first breaths in Brontëland, a fact that might have influenced her penchant for romantic literature. She studied English at the University of Leicester before embarking on a teaching career which took her to the USA and France. She wrote a course book for advanced students, translated a work of literary criticism, but any serious forays into fiction writing took off when she traded city life for the countryside, moving from Toulouse to a hamlet of four houses. Essential inspirational factors include: a wonderful partner, great neighbours, numerous visits by friends and family, the prowling about of various animals (wild and domestic), a plethora of birds and a garden full of lavender.
