We had a
beach to ourselves, and we used it to its full potential,
sunbathing, eating, swimming... it is official, I no longer have
tan lines!!

As I write
this entry, an overwhelming excitement fizzes through my body. We
are staying in one place for a whole week!! This is amazing news. I
can’t tell you how much I detest living out of a suitcase and we
have been away for quite a while now! But the most AMAZING news is
– we are staying in-

DISNEY
WORLD!

I’ve always
wanted to come here, now I’m here I can barely sleep. I need to
write a list of everything I want to do...

Dear
Diary,

So, we have
spent two weeks in Disney World and we are now celebrating our last
night here. Jack has loved it as much as I have, which surprised
him because he hates everything Disney! We were in no rush to move
on to our next destination (wherever that may be!) so we decided to
spend more time here.

The parks
weren’t as busy as they usually are, because we are nudging into
the first days of October which has been brilliant. We also missed
my birthday so Jack decided to celebrate it here.

Jack and
Ember had talked during their little transport journeys, and whilst
I got ready for breakfast , everyone I loved was waiting in the
next room.

We spent an
entire day, luckily it wasn’t too warm this time of year, jumping
on and off many of the rollercoasters, eating’ bad for you’ food,
doing everything possible that relates to Harry Potter. Ciaran
surprised me there. He was the all seeing, all talking fountain of
knowledge when it came to Harry Potter. I hadn’t realised he was
such a big fan, and now I have someone to sit and watch the films
with!

We all
acquired wands, it was only right, and started waving them around.
Hilariously, Clay had convinced some Commoners that his wand
actually spurted water! He’d shown them this effect, making the
water dance and swirl around in the air. They hadn’t believed him;
they thought it was a trick!

The day was
perfect, and Ayden and I now have two favourite rides. Expedition
Forest. It was just too much fun, Eli’s face had been hilarious the
first time on it. He just couldn’t understand why the cart was
heading towards the mangled tracks at the top. He was holding on
thinking it would topple over the edge. And obviously, the new
Harry Potter ride was amazing. We also drank too much Butter Beer
that day!

It is our
last night here, and Jack has organised a meal somewhere.... I just
hope he doesn’t expect me to eat our food on a rollercoaster!
Although, I wouldn’t put it past him!

Dear
Diary,

We are
currently in Canada, and have been here for four weeks now. Jack
has assured me that we will be home for Christmas; I’ve already set
Tabitha on the task of organising all the covens to visit us, and
perhaps celebrate this year. Jack likes a good party. We could do
that, it would be good to see everyone. I must remember to text her
to suggest this.... Tabitha will know what to do.

Since we have
been in Canada, I have to say that it is noticeably cooler. I’ve
started to cover up my tan. It is lovely here though, and Jack
wants to spend some time in different places in Canada. Toronto was
amazing, Quebec too, full of amazing buildings, we spent a lot of
our tine walking around. We spent two nights in a cabin in Banff. I
could live there, apart from the threat of bears and
things...

Tonight we
are going to see an ice hockey game. If this is the adrenaline,
fist pumping thing that Jack needs, I will watch it. I would rather
go to every game possible than throw myself out of a plane or off a
building.

I have a
pampering session soon, just before dinner and the game, so I must
go.

Dear
Diary,

We’ve touched
down in New York! New York! I’ve walked around with my mouth open
the majority of the time! We’ve been here over a day, and I still
can’t believe I’ve seen the Statue of Liberty up close and
personal. We’ve walked around Central Park, I didn’t realise how
big that was! We’ve been up the Empire State building, Radio City
Music Hall, we’ve walked the Brooklyn bridge. We have been to the
new tower and memorial place for the people lost on 9/11. We’ve
also been to the hotel shown on the
Home
Alone
films!

It is so much
better seeing it in person!

We have
walked so much over the course of the day I feel like my feet are
going to drop off.

Again, the
weather is colder now, ready in time for Christmas, which is only
around the corner. We have one more month until we go home! I can’t
believe we haven’t been home in 5 months! Jack has told me we are
going to Washington next week and then from there, he won’t tell
me.

I’m so lucky
we don’t have to pay for extra baggage. I’m also lucky at each new
place, Ember brings fresh clothes, and tea bags. If there is one
thing I miss when I’m travelling, it is that!

Anyway, I
need to go, we still have much to see here. We are going to the
theatre tomorrow night. Jack has told me to ‘dress up’, so I guess
I need to find something nice...

Dear
Diary,

We are on our
last night in Washington. I can’t believe I forgot to write
everything down. We have done all the museums and geeked it up!
They are free!

I have done
the Lincoln memorial and stood on the steps where Martin Luther
King did he famous speech. I must say the memorials are lovely; the
water is so nice in these places.

We have
visited the White House! I can’t believe Jack had already sent
things ahead to get that sorted, it is very organised of him! For
once! We have done a bike ride all over so we saw a good majority
of this place. One place which surprised me was the train station
here, it is stunning! The ceiling, the architecture is
amazing.

I’ve packed,
so we are ready to move onto the next place.

The final
place and then home!

Dear
Diary,

I got to see
the Northern Lights tonight. It was without a doubt the most
breathtaking sight I’ve ever seen. The shimmering colours, the mix
of greens reaching across the dark blanket. I have to admit,
brought a tear to my eye. I thought of my mother. My
coven.

With Jack’s
arms around me we listened to the calm around us. We are surrounded
by snow so every noise sounds duller whilst the cold against my
skin made me feel content, it all adds to the whole experience. I
feel so relaxed.

We are
staying in an ice hotel. I’m shocked at what you can make ice out
of. The bar is brilliant, lights in the ice makes it look like it
glows at night. Staying here is new, cold and different. The bed,
surprisingly, is rather comfortable to say it is ice. The room is
curved and on the walls there are patterns carved into them, they
too glow.

We have a few
more days here, and then we are heading home. The coven party is
arranged for next week. The Christmas trees, two of them, have been
ordered and will be delivered to my house, with strict instructions
to Tabitha to keep them under wraps, I like decorating the trees.
It is a new tradition for me, Ember and Tabitha.

I have loved
our time away but I can’t wait to go home, sleep in my own bed,
work in the shop, and just appreciate being a married woman.
Normal, everyday, boring life is what I look forward to.

However, I do
like a little spark in my life so my next mission is to get Flynn
to put a ring on Ember’s finger! Let’s see how that
goes!

Keeley lives in West Yorkshire in the UK with her husband. She
achieved a BA Honours in English Literature and Language, but what
is important is the purchasing of her first home and that she got
married in beautiful Italy whilst studying! Wedding dress shopping
is much more fun than writing an essay about something that is
never, ever going to interest you!

she isn’t writing and spending time with her ‘book friends’, she
also loves to read and create
