. A prolific writer, Stewart penned more than twenty works, including

The Life and Political Times of Tommy Douglas
, and the fictional
Right Church, Wrong Pew
and
Hole in One
, featuring reporter-turned-sleuth Carlton Withers. Stewart died of cancer in 2004.
