It was Mandy’s turn to burst out with a
carefree laugh. She whispered back, "You got it honey. And don’t
kid yourself, if you weren’t already gay, I would be sorely tempted
to try to turn
you
straight." She whispered in his ear, her
voice dripping with honey. She watched as Hunter’s mouth fell open
again and his eyes turned smoky hot and warmed her insides for a
moment. "Be careful Mandy, I never said I was completely gay. I
used to enjoy the occasional woman and I might just take you up on
your offer if you are not careful." He whispered back and allowed
his eyes to look straight down at her décolleté.

His words and actions had Mandy blushing
richly but before she could stutter out a response, Hunter chuckled
and let her go since Nicole was tugging on her arm, ready to hug
her tightly.

After Nicole hugged Mandy, they jumped up and
down in place like a couple of excited school girls. Melissa had
finally came down to the club with Xavier. He walked over to Jett
so Mandy waved Melissa over to her side and introduced her to her
friends. They all got along right away, having so much in common
with their lifestyles.

"This place is as fascinating as the rumors
purported it to be. I wasn’t expecting it to be so fancy or well
decorated. I’m wishing I was the women posed in those erotic
statues on either side of the carpeted ramp. Whew! I’m getting
turned on just staring at them." Nicole confided and laughed.
Mandy, Melissa, Emmitt, and Hunter all laughed along with
her.

"Girl, you’re turned on 24/7. You may as well
admit it." Emmitt laughed again and turned to Mandy. "Girlfriend,
you should have seen her yesterday when your man’s driver, Xavier,
came in to get your paperwork and orders at the bookstore. He shot
some sexy comments her way and she almost swooned."

Mandy laughed and said, "I wish I could have
seen that." She watched Nicole blush heavily. "Don’t feel bad hon.
I’ve already seen women young and old swoon over that flirt,
everywhere we go." She chuckled and gave Melissa a pointed look,
who also blushed.

"Damn, Hunter darling, we are clearly living
at the wrong place. We need to move to this house of sin and sex!"
Emmitt exclaimed to his only love and they laughed while Hunter
agreed, his gaze still intense upon the transformed and beautiful
Mandy.

Suddenly, Mandy felt the skin on her back
began to scorch from what instinct told her was Jett’s intense
gaze. A current of electricity and vibration traveled the length of
her spine, making it straighten to attention. Everything and
everyone around her faded away, her breathing hitched and she
slowly turned around toward where he felt him to be. Her gaze of
wonder and primal heat met Jett's own intense one across the
club.

She felt as if his hands were caressing her in
every spot that his eyes landed on, heating her skin and body to a
boiling point of hot molten need. She licked her lips and still
tasted him from their slow and passionate bout of love making in
his bed a couple hours earlier when they reached his apartment. She
knew without a doubt, she would never get enough of his sexy body,
his intense melt her core gaze that said she was the only woman in
the world that mattered to him, or his brilliant mind. She had to
force herself to breathe when her lungs burned, starving for
oxygen.
Damn, the things that man does to me with only his eyes.
I should be scorched to a pile of ash right now, with the look his
eyes are passionately scalding me with.

"––earth to Mandy. Girl, are you ok? You look
quite flushed." Emmitt inquired.

"Sweetheart, pay attention to what’s going on
here. Jett has clearly rendered our Mandy incapable of speech. The
look they are sharing is hot enough to set this whole place ablaze
and us along with it." Hunter chuckled. Emmitt really could be
quite blind to things around him, especially if they weren’t
happening directly to him.

"I wish I had a dominant man who could set me
on fire with just one glance." Nicole whispered in a mournful
tone.

Oh Christ, here we go again, thought Hunter in
exasperation. He was happy as hell for Mandy, she deserved it. He
only wished he had seen her with the eyes he was seeing her with,
much sooner. He would have loved to spend at least one hot
passionate night in her arms. He sighed. He knew he was the only
one who knew everything about her past, the only one of her three
friends she had trusted with the full truth of that nightmare and
it still haunted him.

"Aw, girlfriend come here." Emmitt empathized
with Nicole's dilemma. "You will darling and when you do, I hope he
knocks your bobby socks right off."

"Oh my god! Have I really reached that
pathetic single girl state where using movie clichés from Grease is
the new normal?" Nicole whined.

"That isn’t just a look of intense heat honey,
that is a look that comes with a shared memory of an out of this
world, burn-the-house-down, hot primal sex." Hunter growled in
happiness for Mandy even as the shared look heated up his own body.
If he had to be honest with himself, he even felt a bit of jealousy
that Mandy's side of the look was aimed at Jett and him alone. Her
look clearly said that Jett walked on water. Hunter became quite
irritated with Emmitt and Nicole, for trying to turn Mandy's
special moment into one full of self-pity for themselves. Maybe it
was time to move on or at the very least, have a hot-as-hell one
night stand.

"Boyfriend, you are so not helping." Emmitt
scolded Hunter whose only response was to roll his eyes.

Hunter walked with purpose over to the
self-pitying Nicole and his enabling boyfriend and hissed, "Get
over it, you two! This is her night, not yours! We are here to
support our best friend. Not one of us would be where we are in our
lives today, if not for Mandy's beautiful and generous heart, so
shut the fuck up, grow up and show her an ounce of the respect she
has shown you over the years!" His anger was at the boiling point
over the insane immaturity of the two idiots in front of
him.

Pissed off, he walked away and sat down at the
bar beside Jett who was at the moment, smirking at Mandy while
giving her his all consuming gaze. Hunter waited patiently until
Jett released Mandy from the spell he put over her and had his full
attention before he joked, "Wow! Man, if you two keep looking at
each other like that, you might want to invest in fireproof walls
or in several more fire extinguishers at the very
least."

Jett’s chuckle turned into an outright laugh.
He liked Hunter. The man, usually very quiet had a good head on his
shoulders and seemed to genuinely support and care about
Mandy.

"Thank you, Jett."

"For what?" Jett was honestly confused over
what Hunter was thanking him for.

"For making Mandy insanely happy. I’ve known
her the whole time she’s lived here and I've never seen her smile
this much or glow so brightly. She deserves happiness after all she
through in past. It was a true horrific nightmare for her. But her
heart
is
still fragile, please cherish it always,
Jett."

"I fully plan to Hunter, I promise you that. I
will never let her go. Between just us, I care deeply for her and
can't imagine my life without her. She’s my earthbound angel. Now,
may I offer you something to drink on the house?"

"Sure. I’d love a beer."

"I’m a beer man myself." Jett said and smiled,
then ordered them a couple of beers each. He handed Hunter his
beers and inquired, "Something is bothering you, my
friend."

"Yes." Hunter sighed. "It is Nicole and
Emmitt. They insist on having a self-pity party over there. After
all Mandy has done for all of us, Nicole still prefers to selfishly
wallow in self-pity instead of being happy for Mandy and Emmitt, he
enables her bullshit."

"You are very protective of Mandy." Jett
stated.

"Yes. She has a way of embedding herself into
your heart permanently. There aren’t many in the world who have
survived what she has still be able to maintain the ability to love
and care for others to the extent that she generously does. It is a
very rare gift in a person, a beautiful one that inspires deep
loyalty and love." Hunter murmured only loud enough for Jett to
hear and blushed with his admission.

"Then I am very glad to hear she has you in
her life and on her side, Hunter. Truly glad." Jett was thoroughly
moved by Hunter’s words and put his hand on the other man’s
shoulder in solidarity. He only had two friends in this life that
he was close to and they were Xavier and the foster brother he’d
grown up with. He was glad Mandy had the same in Hunter and knew in
time, they would be good friends as well.

Both men turned to stare at Mandy as she
walked with heavy, forceful steps away from Emmitt and Nicole with
a tight and forced smile on her face. Hunter moved over a seat and
bowed, "Your seat, M' lady."

Mandy's angry and pissed off look changed into
one of happiness and delight again as she perked right up and
laughed, then hugged Hunter again. "Thank you, kind sir. I do
believe you are unfortunately going to have your hands full tonight
with those two. The way they are downing the alcohol and are acting
is a complete shame." Mandy mutter and gave Hunter a sympathizing
frown.

"Mandy, I’m sorry––"

She interrupted him, knowing what he was going
to say. "Stop right there Hunter, please. I have known for years
what those too are like and accepted them as they were, but I will
be damned if their obvious pity party for Nicole is going to ruin
my night. I just don’t have it in me tonight to cater to her
bullshit. I’m going to be selfish and enjoy myself for
once."

"Wow! I’m speechless. You kind of sound like
the Mandy I know, but so much stronger and more assertive. Good for
you, sweetheart. I’m proud of you and Mr. Damian here, has been
wonderful for you, even in the short time you’ve been together."
Hunter smiled at her, his eyes beaming with pride.

"Hunter, can I ask you to stay with Mandy for
a few moments while I take care of some personal
business?"

"I will guard her with my life, sir." Hunter
joked but his eyes told Jett that he was as serious as a heart
attack.

Jett smiled, nodded and walked off.

"You two bonded well."

"Yes, we did."

"What over?" Mandy inquired with a quizzical
expression upon her face.

"Now that, my dear lady, is between us men
alone."

Mandy huffed in annoyance and ordered a double
shot of tequila, straight up then swallowed it all in one gulp. She
looked at Hunter's expression of pure shock and laughed
wholeheartedly. She ordered another hellfire drink. She planned to
have more than enough alcohol in her system so she would be
completely relaxed when she entered the VIP area with Jett later
on. She refused to embarrass herself in front of the other members
in that particular area. She planned to watch, listen and learn,
nothing more. Any questions she had, she would ask Jett at an
appropriate time.

"Sweetheart, maybe you should moderate
yourself." Hunter suggested after her second double shot of tequila
and on her third hellfire drink.

"Maybe you’re right. I’m just nervous about
tonight." Mandy confided in him.

"I understand, honey. Our world or rather our
BDSM lifestyle can be rather intimidating and Nicole should have
never taken you to the other club. If I had known she would leave
you alone, I would have stayed at your side. I’m sorry. Please
forgive me."

"There is nothing to forgive, cupcake." Mandy
gave Hunter a saucy, smoking hot smile that took his breath
away.

After a few seconds of silence to compose
himself again, Hunter advised, "Just relax, learn and question
everything if need be. If you get uncomfortable, just leave. It is
that simple and I will be right here if you need me. I don’t
believe Jett would pressure you or allow anyone else to. The way he
looks at you, you’re the center of his universe, sweetheart. Not to
mention, he is extremely possessive of you and I know from years of
experience, guys like Jett abhor the idea of sharing." Hunter was
worried about Mandy walking fully into their world, but planned to
do the only thing he could at that point, be there for her, no
matter what.

Judging by the deep bite mark on her breast
that she so proudly wore, there definitely was some deviancy in her
already that she most likely has not let herself explore yet. He
had seen Jett at work in other clubs. He was tall, sexy and as cool
as an iceberg near Antarctica. Jett also had a reputation for being
the best and most experienced dominant around, having been trained
by the best in the country. He had been told several times that
Jett always took great care of those he was in a scene with.
Everyone who had that pleasure, gushed about him. And yet, he was
vastly different around Mandy. They were both good for each other
and needed each other, they just did not know it yet. They also had
one hell of a turbulent ride ahead of them.

Hunter sighed, pulled from his thoughts when
the two pitiful amigos came over and ordered enough alcohol to kill
a horse.

Nicole and Emmitt completely ignored Mandy and
Hunter, turning their noses up at them.
