JD couldn’t wait to reach the motel. His rising temper had turned into raging lust. When Jasmine opened the door and tried to close it on him, JD anticipated her move and was faster to push through. He knew she was pissed at him, but no way was she in that place without him looking out for her.

Jasmine turned to JD, secretly thrilled to be with him again. As JD began quickly undressing her, Jasmine started ripping off his clothes. Together they tumbled onto the bed, each other frantic with need. Wet, hungry kisses followed. Raw, erotic kisses that set her on fire. She could feel his hard erection pressing against her thigh. He moved between her legs, parting them with his knee and drove into Jasmine with a hard, quick thrust.

“You’re so hot and wet for me, baby,” he growled.

Jasmine arched upwards taking him in deeper while her nails dug into his shoulders. Jasmine shattered into a million pieces.

JD’s climax followed seconds later—his powerful body straining, his muscles taught. He braced himself on his elbows till the tremors finally faded. Neither of them spoke. What happened was earth shattering and Jasmine knew she was falling hard for him. JD rolled over with Jasmine in his arms and fell asleep. Jasmine laid there wide awake wondering where this thing they had going between them would end up.

Roach slammed his empty shot glass down on the bar. “Guess I’m riding out. Gonna head on over to Green Grove tonight and check up on Susanna. I don’t like leaving her alone too much. So far no sign of that scumbag ex of hers, but I still get edgy thinking of what he’ll do if her finds her.”

“I’m gonna stick around here for a while and keep an eye out.” Drifter signaled for a refill. “Maybe I’ll get lucky and score.”

“Bro, you couldn’t score in a whorehouse with a fist full of fifties,” Roach joked as he walked away.

Drifter sat at the bar not because he wanted to keep an eye on Lori. He just wasn’t ready to leave yet—or so he told himself.

Lori and Renee were totally pissed off. They couldn’t believe that asshole had just about dragged Jaz out of the bar and no one would help her. Seeing Drifter and Roach laughing only made them madder. Deciding they’d had enough for one night, the girls stood up to leave. Lori took two steps when her path was blocked by some drunken fool, all horned up from the shows.

“Where ya going, pretty lady?” he said with a slurred speech. When Lori tried to walk around him, he grabbed her by her arm. Renee started yelling for him to let her go. When the drunk tried to kiss Lori, she slapped him right across his face. Lori saw his arm rise up to strike her back. She closed her eyes and braced for the blow. When it didn’t happen, she cautiously opened her eyes to see Drifter standing there rubbing his knuckles. Seeing Big Daddy on his way over, Drifter told him to get rid of the trash lying on the floor.

Lori was so shaken, she nearly collapsed. Drifter grabbed a hold of Lori to steady her. Looking down into Lori’s face, he slowly lowered his lips to hers. His kiss was so tender and felt so good, Lori couldn’t resist kissing him back. Drifter wondered what the hell he was doing. Pulling away from Lori, he smiled until he heard her whisper, “My knight in shining armor.” Lori wondered why he suddenly frowned and told them to get home. Not needing to be told twice, Renee grabbed Lori’s hand and dragged her out of the bar.

When Roach got to his house, he let himself in with his key. The place was quiet. Then he saw Susanna, sleeping in a chair with a shotgun across her lap. What the fuck! Walking over quietly, he took the gun out of her reach before he gently shook her awake. Last thing he needed was his balls blown off. Startled, she reached for the gun and panicked when it wasn’t there.

“Susanna! It’s me, Roach.”

“Roach...? Oh shit Roach! If you weren’t so quiet, I might’ve shot you!”

“What’s going on? Why do you sleep with a gun? And why didn’t you come to me if you’re worried about something? I told you I’d protect you.”

“I’m not sure, but the last two days I felt like I was being watched. Maybe I’m just paranoid from running for so long?”

Roach knew enough to trust gut feelings. If Susanna felt that way, he wasn’t going to take any chances. “Okay, Susanna—I’m here for the night. Go to bed and get some sleep. I’ll keep a watch out, and tomorrow I’m moving you into town.” Roach poured her a healthy shot of whiskey. “Here. Drink it all, it’ll help you sleep. I’m not gonna let him get near you. Now come on, off to bed,” he said soothingly, feeling very protective of this young woman.

The next day, Roach took Susanna to the motel, to get her a room. Renee was visiting with Jaz, enjoying some of Jaz’s iced tea. When Roach walked in with Susanna, the girls were surprised.

“I need to book a room for Susanna. I don’t want her out at my place, all alone any longer.”

Renee, feeling sympathy for Susanna, spoke up. “You could live with me and my father. It’s just the two of us in our big, lonely house. You’d be doing us a favor, really,” Renee coaxed with a big smile.

Roach looked at Susanna, hopeful that she would accept. He didn’t like the thought of her being alone, even at the motel.

“Are you sure it’d be okay? I don’t mean to sound ungrateful. I really love that idea, but don’t you think you should check with your dad first?” Susanna was hopeful, but she didn’t want to intrude.

“My dad will be thrilled. He always regretted that I had no siblings. You and I can have so much fun, you’ll be like my adopted sister,” Renee smiled confidently.

“Oh yes,” Jaz said cheerfully, “then she’ll have you to go on her wild adventures with. That last trip was adventure enough for me, I nearly drowned. Please, say you will.”

“Thank you! That’s so sweet of you! Yes, I would love to.” Susanna looked very much relieved.

Roach was very much relieved himself because truthfully, he was wondering what he’d eventually do with her. After thanking Renee himself, he left to get the rest of Susanna’s belongings and said he would drop them off at her house.

At supper the next evening, Sam and Sara’s eyes were sparkling with what looked like suppressed happiness. Jasmine frowned, wondering why they seemed super happy tonight. Looking at Lori’s puzzled face, she knew Lori was wondering the same thing.

“This is the best beef stew I’ve ever had, Sara.”

“Why thank you, Lori. I have really enjoyed cooking for you girls.” Sara couldn’t contain her enthusiasm any longer.

“Sam and I have an announcement to make and I hope you girls will be happy for us. We have decided to fulfill a long-time dream of ours. We are selling the motel and buying a camper. Traveling has always appealed to us—visiting other states, seeing whatever else is out there outside of Fulton.”

Jaz could only imagine the look of horror on her face. She was devastated. Lori put her hand over hers, to comfort her. Jaz didn’t want to believe what she was hearing.

Sara noticed Jaz’s misty eyes. “Don’t look so sad, Jasmine. Please, be happy for us.”

“Of course, I’m happy for you and Sam. You’ve both been so wonderful to me. I love you both so much,” Jaz said, with tear filled eyes as she gave them both a hug. All that kept going through Jaz’s mind was the thought that she was losing people she loved, all over again.

“I know how you are feeling, Jasmine—but there are always letters to stay in touch. We’ll probably even come through here again on our travels. You must think of us with happiness in your heart, not sadness.”

“Who’s buying the motel?” Lori interrupted.

“Well, that is a little setback for us,” Sam replied. “We have to find a buyer first,” he said, with a little wink at Lori.

Lori was thinking fast, wondering if they could do it. “Do you think you would be interested in selling the motel to Jaz and me? We could run it with the option to buy. It would mean you could start your travel sooner and we could put down roots here. I have come to really love it here in Mayberry.”

“Mayberry? Lori, this isn’t Mayberry.” Sara looked confused.

That caused Jaz to burst out laughing. “It’s just Lori’s little joke about Fulton.”

“Why I think that’s a perfect solution! Why didn’t I think of that?” Sam replied with a big smile and wink at Lori. “Sara and I would love to know you girls are all settled before we leave.”

Jasmine was glad to have work tonight. She was feeling down and had so many thoughts spinning through her head. She needed to forget about them for a while. Could she and Lori manage a motel? Where were she and JD heading? She now knew that she loved him, but would he ever love her? And if he couldn’t, could she still stay in Fulton seeing him with other women? Needing to numb her mind a little, she went over to the bar and drank two shots of Jack. Feeling a little better, she looked around at the crowd. She was hoping she would see JD tonight. Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice Joe standing close by, watching her.

Stuck up little bitch, Joe thought to himself. He’d get her, sooner or later. Smiling, he walked away thinking of a plan and what he would do to her. Grabbing one of the dancer’s he led her into a back room. He would have to satisfy himself with one of these tramps until he could have the one he really wanted. Sitting down on the couch, he unzipped his jeans, slipped on a condom and told her to hop on. She was bouncing up and down on his cock while he hung onto her tits with both hands when he shot off like a rocket.
What more could a man want?
Joe thought.
Free sex, booze and all the money he was skimming. Hell, yeah. He was one lucky man.

Lila walked up on the stage and started her routine, hoping her sugar daddy showed up tonight. When she noticed a few ten dollar bills on the floor she scanned over the crowd and there he was, sitting a few tables back from the stage. When her act was done, he was waiting for her near the dressing room door with a bouquet of flowers. Lila was secretly thrilled.

“Hey, Lila. Come over and have a drink with me,” Thomas suggested, smiling down at her. Lila smiled back as she admired his handsome face while walking over to his table. Again, he was a perfect gentleman and Lila was thrilled when he invited her to his apartment in town a little while later. When he opened the door to his brand new Cadillac, Lila knew she hit gold with this one—finally. She was thinking no more cheap thrills with those dirty bikers who treated her like a tramp.

When they arrived at his apartment, Lila was shocked to see a man sitting on the sofa. He looked completely relaxed while holding a drink in one hand. He was dressed very fashionable with black dress pants and a white dress shirt. A gold watch glinted on his wrist when it caught the light a certain way and she knew it had to be expensive.

“I thought it was going to be just you and me, Thomas,” Lila pouted.

“Actually, it’s just him,” Thomas said, cocking his head to the man. “You’ll have me if you’re a good girl and make me happy—by seeing to my friend here.”

Lila knew what the deal was and didn’t know what she should do. She looked over once again to his friend, who was staring back at her with a lusty gleam in his eyes. When Lila was still hesitant, she watched the man smile and slowly open up his wallet before he laid a fifty dollar bill on the coffee table.

Seeing it as a way to make some quick, easy money, Lila smiled and started pulling down the zipper on her dress. Thomas retreated to the other room to give them privacy. Lila wasn’t broken in yet for him to watch and enjoy the show. Later, when he heard the door open and close, he entered the living room to see Lila sticking the money into her bra.

“Well, Lila—my darlin’—what do you think? Are you in and doing business with me?”

“Oh, I’m definitely in.”

He was right, he thought. Thomas knew a true money-hungry slut when he saw one. “How about we have a drink and discuss the business arrangements?”

“Sure thing, honey. Easiest fifty bucks I ever made,” Lila said, smiling now.

“You won’t always come here for a job, Lila. Usually the customers are at The Den. You know, they like to get primed up first watching the dancers, then enjoy themselves afterwards. I have to charge more there to give the owner his cut, plus I get a cut of every dollar you make. They pay more so you’ll have to give them their money’s worth. I don’t like to hear complaints and I deal with it my way. Sometimes it’s not pleasant, if you get my drift.”

Lila knew exactly what he meant, but she loved sex so no problem there, she thought.

“How many girls do you have working for you?”

“Quite a few of the dancers at The Den actually, but when I saw you up on that stage, I knew you were something special. You’re going to make us both a lot of money.” Thomas grinned widely, pleased he’d conned another girl to work for him.

Jasmine walked out of the bar, feeling worse than ever. She was exhausted. Tips were lousy and JD wasn’t there tonight. Looking around, she didn’t see her car anywhere. She was starting to panic when she heard the rumble of a motorcycle.

“Need a ride?” There sat JD on his Harley, looking so hot with his black leather jacket and his long hair tied back that she almost melted on the spot. All of a sudden, Jasmine felt wonderful. She hopped on JD’s bike, not even caring where her car was. When they got back to the motel, her car was parked in her usual spot.

“I had the prospects get it home for you. I didn’t want to miss giving you a ride. I kinda like you on the back of my bike, babe.” JD carried Jasmine inside kissing her tenderly all the way in. Jasmine was breathless when they finally separated.

“Missed you tonight, Jazzie girl,” JD confessed.

Jasmine was thrilled to hear those words and replied, “I’d hoped you would be at the bar tonight.”

“Club business, can’t talk about it—but I’m here now.” Kissing her again, JD stood her next to the bed and slowly began taking off her clothes. When she went to help him, he pushed her hands away. Jasmine began to shiver when she was standing naked before him.

JD’s eyes burned into her body. “I’ve been thinking about this all night.” He lowered himself slowly, kissing her naked body on his way down. Her nipples hardened into tight little buds when JD nipped at them gently with his teeth, lowering his mouth across her taut, quivering belly and lower still. When his lips found her secret place, he parted her soft dewy petals with his tongue. Burying his face between her legs, JD feasted on her sweet moistness. Jasmine was jerking her hips erratically and he had to grab her hips to steady her. She yielded at last, crying out incoherently until his lips met her mouth again.

JD lowered a limp, pliant Jasmine onto the bed, undressed quickly and put on a condom. As his hard body was poised over hers, he heard Jasmine softly whisper, “I love you, JD.” He was stunned for a second before he drove into her hot, welcoming core.
