“You wish for children?”

“Not today, but in the future, yes. I want to build a family
with you.” When his senses picked up nothing but shock, he began to worry. “Do
you not want children of your own?”

“I’ve never thought much about it.” She gestured to the
shelves stocked with whips and tethers and a contraption of straps hanging from
the ceiling. “My lifestyle doesn’t lend itself to raising a child. However,”
she bit her lip and drew a breath, “I’m not opposed to the idea. I just never
saw myself as someone’s mother. Do you think I can be a good mother?”

“Surely you’re joking. You’d be a fantastic mother. What do
think you’ve been doing for everyone who walks into this club for the last few
years? You are a natural caregiver,
akita
.” Her hesitant smile broke his
heart. “A fiercer mother than you there will never be.”

“And if we have a daughter, I pity the young men who come to
win her affection.” She giggled.

“Men?” Plural? “No, it will not be a problem since we will
have sons.”

The husky notes of her laugher beckoned him to join. She
cupped his cheeks between her palms and gave him a smacking kiss. “We shall
see, General. Now, back to your first endeavor. I believe you mentioned
something about satisfying orgasms. I command you to eat my pussy.”

“As you wish, my princess.”

He pushed her legs wider apart and opened the swollen lips
of her sex with his thumbs. Drawing her clit into his mouth, he suckled the nub
like a decadent candy. He pushed two fingers into her sheath and tucked the
tips against the spot that made her cream in his hand.

“Too fast,” she panted. “I don’t want to come yet.”

“I’ll make the second one go slower.”

“Ooo, you’re evil.”

Her body went lax in his hold as she dropped all her
barriers and released the full brunt of her emotions.

The force punched him in the gut, bending him in two. He was
there with her as the pressure tightened in her belly and her hearts felt ready
to burst out of her chest. She moaned, he groaned. She trembled, he shook. Her
cream flowed like syrup and his balls drew tight to come. He ground his hips
against the mattress in a vain attempt to gain some control.

“Lucian.” She gripped two fistfuls of sheet and arched with
a gasp. “Lucian!”

Her orgasm sparked over his skin like a chain of
firecrackers. With herculean strength, he dragged himself to his knees and
worked his cock into her dripping channel. His eyes rolled back with pleasure
and his cock twitched, but he kept on feeding her his length in slow, measured
thrusts.

Her cries quieted into deep, keening moans. The scrape of
her fingernails raking down his back made his jaw clench, yet he kept up the
relentless pace, loath to end the sensation of riding the razor-thin edge to
oblivion.

“Lucian, I’m going to come again.” She dug her fingers into
his ass. “Please. I’m going to come.” She closed her eyes with a grimace.

“Look at me,” he commanded.

Her amazing eyes snapped open and she bucked beneath him.
Her cunt squeezed his shaft in short, sweet sucks.

His orgasm swept over them both in strong pulls that wrung
every drop he produced. He wanted to shout, wanted to tell her how much he
loved her, but all he managed was a guttural growl and panting breaths.

“I know, my love.” She wrapped him in her soft arms and
legs. “I know.”

“You’ve ruined me,” he gasped out of his dry throat and
collapsed in an ungraceful heap on top of her. “I can’t move.”

Her breasts shimmied with her rough chuckle. “You can have a
moment to rest.”

“Good.” He closed his eyes, already drifting asleep as she
rubbed soothing circles over his back.

“Not too long, love. We have much to decide.”

“Hmm-mmm,” he murmured with half an ear.

“I’m thinking we should start by deciding where to live. I
must check on the restaurant and the club. Then there’s the vacation to plan
that you promised to take. And of course, we have to find time for my
training.”

His eyes flew open at that. “Training?”

“Yes. To become a Chameleon.”

Surely she jested. Right?
Right?

Judging by her steady gaze, she wasn’t.

“No. Absolutely not.”

“I know that you aren’t going to give up the armor, and I
want in on the action. I have talents. Let me help others.”

He stopped her with a quick kiss. He mentally was not
prepared to deal with Amaryllis at the moment. “How about we focus on getting
through today. Starting with food and more sex.”

“For now.” Her serene smile sent a flutter of unease rolling
in his gut.

Ya, his hair was definitely going to turn gray.

About Anna Alexander

Anna Alexander’s literary world changed at age thirteen when
a friend gave her Kathleen E. Woodiwiss’
A Rose in Winter
. With her mind
thoroughly blown, Anna decided that one day she too would become a romance
novelist. With Hugh Jackman’s abs and Christopher Reeve’s blue eyes as
inspiration, she loves spinning tales about superheroes finding love.

The Cloudy skies over her Pacific Northwest home give her
plenty of opportunity to indulge in her passions, which are reading, writing
and snuggling with a steaming cup of Irish coffee. Now if she could only find a
hot Irishman to go with it, then life would be perfect.
