“Or demon,” I continued squeezing Logan’s hand that was on my waist.

“I love you all and whatever happens. If anything does happen, I will protect you all. I promise”

“Adabelle we want you to know that even though we are neutral creatures. We are all here to care for you, all of us.” As Cedric spoke shadows of trees crept over the floor, they seemed to wave in a light breeze.  Gair and his wife poked their eyes through the windows of the small church making me smile.

“We are in this together pal,” Josh nudged me much to Logan’s annoyance.

“Looks like there isn’t any way to get rid of you,” I giggled.

Glancing at everyone here, things looked like they were not that bad. So what if half of my family is demonic and I may be in love with a demon. Having my friends around me and knowing that I had protected a whole realm from living in fear. At the moment,  that was enough for me.
