“I’m going to invite her up here,” Christian said, already heading to the door.

“Don’t be pushy or obnoxious,” Daniel replied as Christian left the room.

Daniel got a visual on his brother as Christian reached the bottom of the stairs. He saw the confused look on his brother’s face as Christian began to scan the crowd. Daniel knew their woman was no longer over at the bar but Christian hadn’t yet spotted her moving toward him as she headed to the foyer.

“Damn.” Daniel saw Christian mouth the word before stepping into the crowd, glancing back up at him for directions. Daniel pointed at the woman who was now nearly directly in front of Christian.

“What use is that? Point at her, not at me.” Daniel read his brothers lips and saw the frustration on his face. Finally, Christian turned back to face the crowd, took a few steps forward walked right into her. She was right in front of Christian and heading for the door. Daniel breathed a sigh of relief as he saw Christian’s hand reach out and take their woman by the arm.

Angel felt someone grab her arm and turned around to see the blond Adonis she had just teased attached to her it. As she got to the entrance of the foyer, he was still holding on to her, his arm now hooked through hers.

“Wait,” she heard him say. “Hello, I’m Christian, and I just came down to ask you to our party.”

Angel had no intention of going anywhere with him, even if he was good enough to eat. She walked a little farther into the foyer, away from the downstairs crowd, and turning around, glanced up at the private club room window to see the other sexy man-God watching them. She looked back at the blond Adonis standing next to her and gasped. His eyes were the most gorgeous brown, just like milk chocolate, and she wanted to melt into them. Angel fought the urge to reach out and run her fingers through the shoulder-length curls of his blond hair.

“Christian?” she asked, watching him nod before she continued. “Thank you for the offer, but I’m going home.” Angel smiled before gently unlinking her arm from his.

“Come on.” He winked at her. “Come to my brother Daniel’s welcome home party. We’ll have fun, I promise.”

Angel sighed. He was standing so close, and even in her platform boots, she had to look up to see his dreamy eyes and perfectly formed, luscious lips that begged to be kissed. Any other time she would have said yes, but not now. Everything was still too complicated to meet someone new at the moment. Angel hoped she didn’t have to get nasty if he kept insisting. He seemed nice, and she’d hate to have to get nasty and deflate his Dom ego. She glanced back up at the window to see that the dark-haired God had disappeared.

“I’m sure we would.” Angel took a step back. “But I didn’t come here to meet anyone. I just came to see friends and have a dance, which I’ve done. I apologise for doing that thing with the straw. I didn’t mean to give you the wrong idea. I get a little flirty when I drink.” Angel felt her face heat up. “I didn’t think you would come down here.”

Angel turned to walk away and was startled to hear a deep, male voice that sent an erotic shiver up her spine.

“What if it’s just a nostrings-attached,
come and dance and get to know us
invite” he said.

Angel turned around to see the dark-haired God who had disappeared from the window moments before. He was nearly the same height as the blond Adonis but had short, dark hair rather than the alluring curls of the other man. His shoulders were broad and firm, just the sort of thing Angel would imagine sinking her nails into as she orgasmed beneath him. She felt her heart begin to race and moisture pool between her legs. Being in such close proximity to them was intoxicating, but she knew these men were way out of her league. And she couldn’t let herself walk into something that would end up breaking her heart. Even though the sheer, dominant male force they presented nearly overwhelmed her, she had the feeling that they were two really nice men. They hadn’t grabbed her boobs or used crude pickup lines on her, even after the now-regrettable straw-sucking incident. For a moment Angel nearly accepted, but then she suddenly remembered her genetic flaw and told herself that looks could be deceiving.

“I appreciate the offer, but I can’t accept, and if I don’t leave now, I’ll miss my train,” Angel stated politely. “I got the barman to call me a cab, and it’s probably waiting for me outside.”

“Fair enough. If you have to go, then we accept that.” Angel heard a hint of disappointment in Daniel’s voice and she got the distinct impression that it was far from what he wanted to say. If the look of lust that filled his gaze was anything to go by, then letting Angel leave was the last thing he wanted to do.

“Of course we don’t have to like that you’re leaving without spending time with us.” Angel’s gaze moved back to Christian. “Sure you won’t reconsider?” His smile was more than charming.

They were losing her. Christian wanted to grab hold of her and beg her to stay, or pick her up and kidnap her back to their house. As he looked at her succulent body and felt her sweet voice swamp his senses, he had to fight the urge to get all primal and claim her as his own.

“Thank you.” Her eyes moved from one brother to the other. “It was nice meeting you both. Maybe I’ll see you again.”

Christian saw her smile before turning to walk away. He felt like he was losing something more precious than life as she walked toward the door. She suddenly turned back around, her eyes locking onto Daniel’s.

“Oh, I forgot to say something.” Her eyes twinkled as she spoke. “Welcome home, Daniel.”

“Wait, what’s your name?” Christian called after her as she turned away again.

“Cinderella,” she yelled back over her shoulder, laughing as she walked out the door.

Christian stood next to Daniel staring at the hustle of bodies coming and going from the club, and from the look on his brother’s face Christian knew they were both feeling a profound and unexplainable sense of loss.

“I had the strangest thought when we were talking to her. I just wanted to pick her up and take her home. Did you feel the same urge to do that or was it just me?” Christian heard Daniel ask as he stared at the door to the club.

“Yes.” Christian turned to face Daniel. “So…what the fuck do we do now, Einstein, because I certainly can’t track her down under the name of Cinderella.” Christian’s voice had an edge of anger and Daniel appeared surprised at his outburst. Admittedly, he was usually relaxed and calm.
Although Daniel was usually the one to get edgy, tonight, for some reason, he was the one looking calm and peaceful
.

“Cinderella. Now that was funny. It would have been truly poetic if she had left a shoe behind.” Christian couldn’t believe Daniel was actually laughing. “Cinderella…That was a bit cheeky, though. I think I’ll give her a spanking for that.”

“Why are you so happy?” Christian couldn’t believe Daniel was so jovial.

“She’s the one. We’ve found her.” Daniel stated before turning around and heading back to the party.

Christian was becoming infuriated with his brother, sure that if he had been left to his own devices they would be upstairs with her at the party by now. Sometimes Daniel could be too sensible for his own good. Right now Christian just wanted to punch his brother’s overconfident and optimistic face.

“Yes, Daniel I agree. She is the one. Yes, we found her.” Christian stopped Daniel just as he got to the stairs. “And we let her walk away without even getting her name. How do you suppose we find her again?”

“We’ll find her, or she’ll find us… it’s meant to be. All we have to do is be patient.”

Fuck patient
. What had gotten into Daniel? Was his cock so hard after talking to their Cinderella that he had no blood left anywhere in his body? And where the hell would being patient get them? Christian was never one for sitting back and waiting. He was going to get answers. He had a plan.

Daniel could hardly believe what he was saying. Maybe he had drunk too much at the party and it had sent him into some kind of euphoric state where the world was perfect and love always found a way. Or maybe it was her. Daniel didn’t expect Christian to understand, but he just felt they would cross paths again. He was sure this was definitely not going to be the only encounter with their cheeky fairy-tale girl. After his observations tonight, Daniel was positive that if they had come across as overbearing, they would have lost her. By letting her leave, he suspected the next time they met it would be a lot easier to win her over. The brothers walked upstairs in silence.

“I’m going to talk to the lesbians,” Christian stated. “I’ll make them tell me who she is and where she lives. If they won’t tell me, then I’ll go to the café and talk to the waiter. He kissed her…the waiter kissed our woman.
The nerve of him. I might just hit him for that.”

“Who are you, and what have you done with my brother?” Daniel stared at Christian in amusement. Christian never went all macho like this over a woman.

“I’m going to talk to these women, and if you have the same smug amused look on your face when I get back, I’ll practice my swing on you before going to see café boy.” Christian snarled.

“Yeah, good luck with that…on both counts,” Daniel said as Christian headed down the hall toward the private rooms.

“Good luck with what?” Daniel turned to see Max, their friend of twenty years, standing at the top of the stairs. Max was a Master in his late sixties. He had instructed the brothers when they were young Doms and had earned their trust and respect. Both men viewed Max as somewhat of a father figure within the BDSM scene.

“Christian is going to join a bunch of kinky lesbians in one of the private play rooms.” Daniel smiled, giving his friend a hug before turning back to stare at his brother.

Max laughed and walked over to Christian. He placed an arm around Christian’s shoulder and began to walk him back toward Daniel.

“I may have neglected to fill you in on some of the finer details of life.” Max was speaking in a clear, slow, concise manner as he addressed Christian. “So in case I left this bit out, I’ll tell you now. Lesbians don’t play with men. They play with other women. It’s an exclusive club. So unless you want to become a eunuch, I would suggest you give the ladies down the hall a miss and go back to your own party. Now, the question of why you would be approaching a group of lesbians is troubling me, but I think I may understand a little of what’s going on. So, if you are having a problem finding a sub, or you’re just looking at getting laid, then I will lend you my girl for a few days.” Max slapped Christian on the back and directed his next question to Daniel. “Now where is this party?”

“Right this way, old man,” Daniel replied, holding the door open for both men to enter. Christian reluctantly joined them. Obviously Max’s presence had given him breathing space to reassess his options.

“By the way, I’m wondering where the lovely Miss D is. Don’t tell me you’ve let her run away?” Daniel asked. Miss D, or Deanna, had been Max’s submissive for the last ten years, and Max often joked that her insatiable kinky appetite would be the death of him.

“Arr yes, Miss D is escorting a friend down to the train station. Poor thing had taken so long to come out of the club, her taxi took another fare. We spotted her running up the road as we were arriving.” Max seemed to go into a trance as he continued

“Beautiful sight…breasts nearly bouncing out of her dress…high boots shimmering in the moonlight…rubies sparkling around her neck. Her hair…Oh, but I digress.” Max drew himself back to reality.

“So, problem solved. I put her in the car and told the driver to deliver her to the station. But not before I gave her a firm slap on the arse for her tardiness with the taxi. And a beautiful arse she has, truly gorgeous.” Max gave a cheeky wink.

“I sent Deanna with her because she looked a little flustered about something, and I thought they could have a girly chat. I did try to get the beautiful young Angel to come to the party with us, but she insisted on going home. Shame though, she’s a gem, a little reckless at times, particularly when she’s horny. I must organise for the two of you to meet her now that she is single again.”

Daniel wanted to let out a yell of victory. Max was a wealth of information, and he didn’t even realise it. A girl running to the station, insistent on going home. Daniel looked over at Christian, whose frown had been erased by a broad smile. Daniel knew exactly what he was thinking. It had to be her. After all, the most beautiful woman in the world could easily be described as an angel.
