Kathleen

I rush to get ready and opt for jeans, a t-shirt, and tying my hair back in a ponytail. Feeling this upset, there is no way I can go anywhere today anyway. My stomach feels like it’s in knots. I’m worried I might puke again at any moment, and it has to be from the anxiety. Glazov knows good and well that my symptoms can’t be attributed to pregnancy because my tubes were tied. The procedure was necessary after the problems I had with Roksana’s delivery. He was just being a smart-ass earlier.

After quietly sneaking down the dungeon steps, I’m shocked to find there’s no bodyguard on duty. As soon as I open the door, the reason why becomes apparent. My son Kodiak is lying on the floor, smoking a cigarette, and leisurely blowing smoke rings as he talks to his captive.

“The way I see it, Logan, I’m the only ally you have.”

Even when he sees me walking toward him, disapproval etched on my face, his cocky demeanor doesn’t change.

“The way I see it, Kodiak, she does have another ally—me!”

I am so pissed at these guys right now that I couldn’t care less about the repercussions of coming down here.

“Mother, I love you from the depths of my soul, but you know how Father is, and he wants Logan here.”

He licks his lips and eyes his girlfriend before he continues.

“And I definitely want Logan here.”

“Where are the keys to the cell, Kodiak?”

He tuts in my direction like he’s reprimanding me.

“You’re not getting my ass kicked by Dad. I asked Logan to move into the pool house, and she couldn’t make up her mind. This is what happens when Dad and I have to make the decision for her.”

The desire to kick him in the head right now is strong. Kodiak is just too much his father’s son, and he’s frustrating the hell out of me. To avoid hurting him, I walk over to the cell and direct my attention toward Logan.

“Logan, I will have you out of here by tonight. To be honest with you, it would probably be a good idea if you’d agree to move into the pool house with Kodiak.”

“I think that’s a good idea too, Logan,” Kodiak interjects.

He’s still lying on the floor with one leg crossed over the other at the ankles, blowing smoke rings like he doesn’t have a care in the world. Looking back at Logan, I try to reassure her as much as possible under the circumstances; she looks so frightened.

“I’ll deal with Glazov, Logan.”

She just looks at me with a blank stare and nods her head. I’m certain the poor girl is probably traumatized by the barbaric behavior displayed by the men in my family

“I’ll be talking to your father!” I spit out at my son.

Standing over Kodiak and glaring down at him, I make sure he sees the fury in my eyes before I leave the room. On my way out, I hear his response.

“Good luck with that because Logan isn’t getting out of this cell until Dad says so.”

Chapter Forty

Glazov

Sitting in my office and twirling my platinum pen between two fingers, I take a moment alone to let my mind wander.

I’m a man who has had to play his cards close to his vest. Though my wife doesn’t know this, I actually knew about Logan’s little exposé project long before she did.

That fiery, little, redheaded wife of mine just can’t seem to get it through her head that I am, and always will be, ahead of her when it comes to the Bratva game. My father was a ruthless man, and as his only son, he felt it his duty to teach me everything he knew. Not only was he merciless, he was smart as well. I grew up by his side, learning the game. I am my father’s son.

I have no intention of killing Logan as long as my son can keep her under his control, and I have no doubt that he can. Just like my father taught me, I have taught my sons. I’ve taken great care to teach both of them everything they need to know about women—how they think, what they feel, and what they need. By the time Kodiak is done with Logan, he will be so deeply embedded in her mind that even when he isn’t with her, his thoughts will prevail over hers. Control is a necessary evil in my world.

As far as my daughter, Roksana, is concerned, she is as ruthless as my sons. She is probably even more of a threat to anyone who crosses her path because she is a beautiful woman who has the ability to think like a man when need be. Even if I had wanted to, I couldn’t have sheltered her when she was growing up. Roksana soaked up knowledge like a sponge. When I trained my sons, she made it a point to be there. On top of that, her best friend is Natasha, so not only does she have the knowledge of everything I taught her, she also has been trained as an enforcer. When Roksana and Natasha get together, the effect can be deadly.

I couldn’t be any more proud of my family than at this very moment in my life. They have gone above and beyond what I expect regarding their Bratva born heritage. My life is exactly as it should be—good.

My children are grown. There will be wives, a husband, and then grandchildren to come. The legacy will continue, and I will have been successful in passing down my heritage. Yes, life is good.

Epilogue

My hands run over the silky white skin of the only woman I have ever loved—my wife. She has been the one certainty in my life. When all around me things are in chaos, she’s my compass showing true north. She has been, and still is, the only true provider of peace in my fucked-up world of mayhem. Still, to this day, I would kill for her, I would die for her, and I exist for her.

Life has been good. My eldest son, Nikita, is with his childhood sweetheart, Natasha. Kodiak has found his peace in Logan, and she has found her protection in him. Needless to say, my son and I managed to convince her to move into the pool house. Of her own volition, she pulled out of doing the exposé project entirely, not wanting to take a chance on hurting our Bratva family by putting us in the spotlight in any way. When she made that decision on her own, it solidified my belief that she is the right woman for my son.

Life will go on, my legacy will continue, and I will be here to guide my children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren, if time permits and God wills.

My wife’s voice pulls me from my thoughts.

“I love you, Glazov. From the very depths of my soul, I love you.”

I smooth the hair from her face, looking intently into her eyes that are looking back at me so earnestly, as if I have all the answers to life’s questions.

“Ptichka, I love you from the very depths of my soul too. I yearn to spend eternity with you. Until you cracked through my armor, I was a man who believed himself incapable of love. My heart, my life, my soul—it is all in your hands.”

She spreads her legs, allowing me entrance into her moistened core, and I gently slide inside her. As we slowly make love, I study her face. This is not a time to take her roughly. It is a time to make love to her, to connect with her on a deeper level.

I roll my hips, touching her sweet spot at just the right angle, and her core clenches around my manhood. I stare at her face as she comes, still in awe that this woman is mine. Watching her find her pleasure is something I will never tire of.

There will be more to my family’s story that we will share with the world. There is so much more to tell. There’s Kodiak’s story, Nikita’s story, and ultimately, Roksana’s story. For now, this is the conclusion of mine, and life is good…

The End… for now…

Glazov: The Beginning

I listened to my captor. His words had the impact of a hit right between my eyes.

I enjoy taking a woman and doing dirty, nasty things to her that will stain her soul. Can I take you? Can I stain you, Kathleen? Can I hurt you so good that you beg me for more? Are you willing to be my whore to pay off your friend’s debt?”

"Yes," I hurriedly agreed, knowing he would snuff out her life with no regrets, despite the money she owed him.
The day I agreed, I made a deal with the devil, and there was no point of return!
This is my story...
I warn you, it is NOT a love story; it IS a Dark Erotic Tale.
