HERBS

Echinacea, dandelion, yellow dock, burdock root, and red clover are all powerful internal cleansers.

Kelp powder has a purifying effect on the blood and can be used in cooking.

SUPPLEMENTS

The nutrients I have used most successfully in helping to eradicate acne are outlined below. Do not feel compelled to take them all at once. You would be overwhelmed. You can rotate them and see what works for you.

Zinc.

Beta-carotene.

Vitamin A (do not take if pregnant). Try vitamin A drops, too. They won’t solve the root cause but may improve appearance slightly.

Vitamin B complex.

Vitamin C, which helps to counteract inflammation.

Vitamin B
6
.

Pantothenic acid.

Propolis.

Borage oil capsules.

Acidophilus with bifidus, “friendly” bacteria, which promotes colon health and elimination of toxins.

EXTRA TIPS

Bathe the skin with a combination of tea tree and chamomile (2 drops of each in a bowl of water) for a soothing, antibacterial wash.
