Mix a few drops of eucalyptus, lavender, or bergamot oils to a tablespoon of almond oil and apply to the lesions as soon as they appear. This reduces the time it takes for them to dry out and fall off.

A cloth bag of oats can be put under the tap when running a bath to help soothe the skin.

Topical ointment with capsaicin powder (from cayenne peppers).

SINUSITIS

Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinus cavities. The lining of the sinuses swell up and block the nasal passages. It can make you feel miserable, grumpy, and tired out, and it is painful, too. Headaches, coughs, runny nose, nasal discharge, congested nose, and fever are the usual symptoms. Sinusitis can be acute due to bacterial, viral, or fungal infections and also chronic, where there is usually an allergy or immune trigger.

CAUSES MAY INCLUDE

Poor immunity.

Allergies.

Swimming in chlorine.

Passive smoking.

Environmental pollution.

Dairy products.

Food intolerances.

Constant colds and flus.

Zinc deficiency.

Central heating.

Lung weakness.
