"I love you, Haven, I do,"
he said. "But I'm not ready for you to pop out half a dozen kids."

Carmine thrust as deep as the
position let him, taking it slow so not to slam the headboard into the wall. He
savored every second, tingles radiating across his skin from where they were
connected. His lips smashed against hers, swallowing her cries of pleasure. It
felt so good...
so fucking
good
... that he
could hardly rein himself in. Her hands laced through his hair, gripping the
chaotic locks, tugging just enough to make him feel it.

He was getting close, could feel his
orgasm brewing. Reaching between them, he stroked Haven's clit.

"Come for me,
tesoro
,"
he whispered, his voice gritty from need. "I want to feel it. I want to
make that pussy feel good."

She shivered, her eyes closing as she
gripped onto him tighter. He could tell she was close, her body tense, back
arching beneath him. He rubbed harder, thrust deeper, feeling it as she started
to convulse. She cried out his name, the sound washing through him, wiping away
all of his restraint. The pressure let loose, and he grunted into her neck as
he came hard.

"Fuck," he ground out.
"So fucking good."

When the pleasure started to fade, he
stilled his movements, still inside of her. He started to speak, to say
something, but the words were stolen right away.

There was a tap on the door, soft and
quiet, but Carmine caught it. Carmine heard it.

Guard up.

Erection down.

Fuck
.

"Daddy?" the quiet voice
called out. "
Is
you sleeping?"

Haven rubbed Carmine's back gently as
he sighed. "What do you need,
piccola
?"

"Can I have another story?"

Shaking his head, he pulled away from
Haven and climbed out of bed. He tossed the condom in the trashcan as Haven
jumped up, quickly pulling on some clothes. She headed for the door, opening it
just enough to slip
out,
making sure Maura couldn't
look in.

"How about I tell you a
story?" Haven suggested.

"Do you know the princess story,
too?"

"Of course, but I was thinking
about a different part of the story," Haven said, closing the bedroom
door. Before she walked away, Carmine heard her finish. "Has Daddy ever
told you about how the princess found forever with her prince?"
