“Wow, you’re just wantin’ to get right to it, aren’t ya?” he said, smiling.
“Benjamin,” she said, trying to be patient, “when you tell your mother you need to talk to her in person and won’t give her any details, which definitely makes me worry by the way, then yes I want to get right to it, thank you very much.”
He smiled. “I love you, Mom.”
“I love you, too, sweetheart. Now please tell me before I have a heart attack.”
“Okay, okay. I just wanted to ask your opinion about something and if you don’t like it, just tell me, all right?”
“Of course, Ben,” she said, putting her arm on around his shoulder.
“I, uh, never really knew my dad, and Michael was around, but he never loved me like a real dad would.” Ben got quiet for a moment and Kim sensed he might even cry.
“Go on, sweetheart,” she said.
“Well, I was wondering if you would be okay with me talking to Caleb and Logan and seeing if they would a…”
“Adopt you?” Kim asked, not sure if that’s where he was going or not.
“No—not adopt me. Mom, I’m about to be twenty-three, I don’t think parents adopt twenty-three-year-olds. I was thinking maybe I could just borrow their last name.” He looked at her, intently waiting for her response. Kim started tearing up herself.
“Ohhh, Ben, of course I would be okay with you changing your name!” They both stood up and hugged each other, Kim now crying fully.
“Uh, Mom?” he said when he let her go.
“Yes, honey?”
“You smell like cigarettes. You’re not smoking again, are you?”
Oh shit!
“No, honey, Myka had one in the car on the way home.”
“Oh, okay. I was just wondering,” he said without any concern.
“So, would you like to talk to them now? I can go in there with you, or do you want to do it alone?” she asked.
“Mom, I’m not five. I can do it by myself.”
“Don’t get smart with me, mister,” she said, smiling. “They’re both in there so go ahead and I’ll just sit out here.”
And air out—I am so gonna kick her ass!
Ben went inside and was in there at least twenty minutes. Kim was about to go in when all three of them walked out the door.
Caleb said, “So, how does Benjamin Wade sound to ya, sugar?”
“I think it sounds wonderful,” she replied, smiling.
“Will’s over at his grandparents’ and he’s gonna be real happy, Ben,” Logan added. “He’s always wanted a brother.”
“And I’ve always wanted a son,” Caleb said, putting his hand on Ben’s shoulder. “I just never thought I’d be lucky enough to have one like you.” Caleb pulled Ben forward and gave him a hug and Kim started to sob.
“Way to go, Caleb,” Logan said, pulling Kim next to him so she could cry on his chest. The three men started to laugh and then Ben called Will, who asked him to come stay the night over at Sara’s. They stood on the front porch until he drove away.
“I’d like to be by myself a minute, if that’s okay,” she said, walking over to the swing.
“Everything okay?” Logan asked.
“Yeah, just girl stuff,” she replied. He shook his head and both men walked inside to start supper. Kim grabbed her cell phone and texted Myka.
You are in so much trouble! I smell like smoke now thanks to you, and Ben said he could really tell. If I get in trouble for this, you better tell the truth or I will double kick your ass! :(
She hit the send button. Kim hoped she had aired out enough and started to go inside.
Ding
. Text message from Myka Lambert.
Hello, Kim, this is Blake. Myka is in the shower right now, but I can assure you I will give her your message. Hope your day is better than Myka’s will be.
Holy fuck! Oh God, Myka, I’m so sorry!
Kim could hear Caleb’s phone ringing inside.
Fuck, fuck, fuck! Blake’s calling him. Okay, deep breaths. Just stay out here on the porch. Don’t panic—you did nothing wrong. That’s right—I did nothing wrong. There’s no way I can be in trouble.
About ten minutes passed and Caleb came to the front door, holding it open.
“I think you need to come inside now, sweetheart,” he said with that “I know you know I know” look smugly on his face. She got up and went inside, sliding past him without touching. “To the table,” he said when she started toward the bedroom. Of course Logan was sitting there waiting for her, too. He got up and pulled out her chair, making sure she was seated before he sat back down himself.
They both looked at her in silence and finally she mumbled, “I didn’t do anything wrong!” as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“We know,” Caleb said, handing her a piece of paper.
“What’s this?” she asked, confused, looking down to read it.
“It’s a confirmation page for the purse I just bought you online,” he said, grinning.
“What purse?” she asked, looking up at him.
“Uh—the one you’ve been looking at for the past three weeks and so conveniently leaving for me to see every time I sit down at my desk.”
“Oh,” she said, a smile forming on her lips.
“We know you didn’t smoke, darlin’, and we’re real proud of ya for that,” Logan said.
“You are?” she asked.
“Uh-huh. And as a matter of fact, after we eat supper, we’re gonna put you up on this table right here and we’re gonna show you
just
how proud we are.”
“You are?” she asked, swallowing hard.
“Uh-huh. I’m gonna take my tongue and lick up and down your sweet pussy so good, you scream.”
“You are?” she asked, her pussy clenching.
“Uh-huh,” Logan said again, reaching over and rubbing his thumb over her lips.
“And I,” Caleb said, reaching over to tweak her nipples, “am gonna hold you nice and tight so Logan can do a real good job and then I’m gonna suck this nipple right here and then that nipple right there.” Kim’s breathing began to get faster.
“You are?”
“Uh-huh,” he replied. “Right after supper.”
“
After
supper?” she asked, not thinking she’d survive that long.
“After supper,” he said again, teasing her with his eyes.
“Okay,” she said, squirming in her seat.
“See what happens when you’re a good girl, darlin’?” Logan said.
“Uh-huh,” she whispered and then added, “I’m uh, really not all that hungry.” Both men laughed loudly.
“You’re eating,” Logan said as he got up to bring the food in.
Caleb and Logan shamelessly teased her all through supper, taking their time, getting seconds, and then by taking their sweet time cleaning up. Kim thought she was going to explode with anticipation. She couldn’t believe they were going to put her on the table. As she carried the empty tea glasses into the kitchen, she went over to hug Caleb and then Logan.
“What’s that for?” Caleb asked.
“For my purse. Thank you for buying it for me.”
“You’re welcome, sugar. And—just so ya know, I saw some of the other purses on there you were lookin’ at, and I want you to be very clear in understanding that if you
ever
buy a purse that costs even
close
to a thousand dollars you not only will get a spankin’, but the purse goes back, too. So,
don’t
do it.”
“There’s purses that cost a thousand dollars?” Logan asked in disbelief.
“Oh, brother—you have no idea,” Caleb replied, patting him on the back.
“Uh, guys?” she asked, as they looked at her. “Is it
after
supper yet?”
“Caleb, our girl’s gettin’ impatient,” Logan said, grinning. Caleb scooped her up and gently put her on the dining room table. Logan used his experienced tongue, making her come three times before he stopped.
They then carried her to bed and Logan asked, after he noticed her deep in thought, “Whatcha thinkin’, darlin’?”
She looked over, smiled at her men, and said shyly, “That I might just be a good girl
all
the time…”
The day of the wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Both men looked amazing all dressed up and Kim looked pretty good herself, she thought. The dress she picked out was low cut in front and accentuated all her curves. Sara gave her a beautiful heirloom necklace to wear and Myka gave her blue lingerie to wear underneath. Kim’s almost fathers-in-law walked her down the aisle, one on each side to be handed off to Caleb and Logan. She wasn’t even nervous, just anxious to be their wife. Ben was excited when Caleb had asked him to be his best man. So, Caleb had Ben standing by him and Logan had Will standing at his side. Myka stood beside Kim and the ceremony began. Kim cried as both men spoke their vows to her and then two rings were placed on her finger. Those two men, who found her on the side of the road and turned her world upside down. The men who taught her how to love and how to be loved. How to trust not only herself, but them as well. They were now her husbands—and dammit, she couldn’t wait to see what forever might bring their way.
