Jess grabs the dresses from her place and we drive back to my house because I need to shower and I want to get ready for the party and relax in my house. When I get out of the shower I open the dress cover and I see an off white summer baby doll dress. The length comes down to mid-calf and it’s something I would’ve picked out for myself if I had gone shopping. I don’t wear dresses often but every once in a while when I need to feel pretty I’ll wear one. Next to the dress is a converse box and I laugh to myself as I open the box. There’s a pair of off white converse and I smile because they now me so well. I put on my white bra and panties that Jess also bought me and decide to put my Victoria Secret lotion on and I’m feeling good as well as sexy. I get my dress and shoes on and I go to my jewelry box to find the earrings and bracelet that Dean gave me for my seventeenth birthday. I don’t even think he knows I still have them and I can’t wait until he notices me wearing them. I walk out of my room and both women are in the living room. Jess’s dress is a champagne color and Nic’s dress is baby blue and they’re both wearing converse and I laugh because Jess has us matching.

“We’re the Three Musketeer’s today.” Jess says as they both smile at me.

“I’m ready to go to the clubhouse now.” I sat with a shake of my head.

They tell me that they’re ready and we make our way back to my car so we can get to the party.

We pull up to the clubhouse and I hear Nic texting someone.

“Who have you been texting all day? Are you seeing someone and not dishing the dirt?” I ask her.

“I have been seeing someone but it’s not serious. If it does get serious I’ll tell you first.” She says sheepishly.

“You’ll dish before you go back to Lexington on Sunday.”

“I want to see where it goes first before I start talking about it. I don’t want to jinx it.” She replies to me.

“I understand Nic. I hope it works out for you.”

We get out of the car and the clubhouse looks different for some reason I can’t put my finger on what’s different though. The girls stop before we get to the doors and tell me that they have to blindfold me for a few minutes. I look at them and they tell me that it’s a surprise. They put the blindfold on me and I have Nic in front of me and Jess behind me. They walk me in and I’m assaulted with the delicious aroma of tons of different foods. My stomach grumbles and the girls laugh.

“You’ll be able to eat in a little while.” Nic says to me.

They continue through the lobby and I hear people bustling around me but I don’t hear anyone talking. I’m taken to a room and the blindfold comes off and I see my dad.

“What’s going on dad?”

“You’ll now in just a few minutes. You look beautiful darlin. I’m so proud of the strong woman you are.” He replies with a smile.

I have tears in my eyes and he wipes them before they fall down my face. He kisses the side of my face and brings me into his arms and gives me a comforting hug that I’ve always dreamt of having from my father.

His phone buzzes with a text and he smiles as he puts his phone away.

“It’s time for your surprise darlin.” He says to me.

He takes my arm and wraps it through his. We walk arm in arm out his office door and down the hallway. We get to the end of the hallway and I’m blown away with what I see in front of me. The lobby of the clubhouse has been transformed into a fucking Wedding Chapel. There are chairs are covered with champagne colored seat covers and the sashes are the baby blue like Nic’s dress. There’s a carpet runner that has white roses that runs from where we are to the arch. The arch has champagne colored roses and baby blue flowers tangled with baby’s breath entwined in it. I have tears in my eyes as I look at what Dean has done for me. The arch stands as the alter and I find my man there with my little boy they’re both dressed in dark jeans, white button down shirts, their cuts, and biker boots. On the other side of the arch is Jess, Nic, and my little girl wearing a dress similar to mine. Jasmine’s wearing an off white dress and she has the same converse to match. Between the two groups is Stone. He’s wearing the same as Dean and Jamie. I look at my dad and he’s dressed the same. I start to cry knowing that my man pulled this together with the help of our family. Music starts playing and everyone stands as the first notes of "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri starts to play. I’m smiling and crying at the same time. I’m getting the wedding I’ve always imagined and to the man of my dreams. He pulled this off without having to ask me one question about what I would want and he did it perfectly. I wanted simple but elegant with a flare of my personality along with his. I can’t believe he was able to keep this a secret; let alone everyone else. I have tears running down my face as my dad walks me to my forever guy. We stop a couple of steps away from Dean and dad bends down and kisses me.

“I love you baby doll. I’m proud that I was able to walk my little girl down the aisle to her man.” Dad says to me.

He takes my hand and places it in Dean’s.

“You’re beautiful baby; are ready to get Married?” My man says to me.

“I’ve been ready my whole life, my love.” I say

Stone doesn’t make small talk as he gets right to the vows.

“I’m not a spiritual man. However, there’s always been one verse that I’ve found to be true. What Dean “Titan” Henderson and Lyric “Baby Girl” Valentine have is the living version of this Bible verse.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 reads:

Love is patient and kind.

Love is not jealous or

boastful or proud or rude.

It does not demand its own way.

It is not irritable,

and it keeps no record of being wronged.

It does not rejoice about injustice

but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

Love never gives up,

never loses faith,

is always hopeful,

and endures through every circumstance.”

“Is there anyone here that does not think that these two should not be wed?” Stone asks

Nobody says anything and I look at Dean and think I’m so grateful for the man he is. I know I love him to the deepest part of part of my being.

“Titan do you have the rings.” Stone asks

Jamie pulls them out of his jeans and hands them to his daddy smiling.

“I love you.” I mouth to my little man with a smile on my face.

“I love you too momma.” He responds out loud to me.

Everyone laughs and Stone tells me to repeat after him.

“I Lyric take you Dean

to be my husband

as well as my old man.

I take you

to be my best friend,

my faithful partner

and my one true love.

I promise to encourage you

and inspire you and to

love you truly through

good times and bad.

I will forever be there

to laugh with you, to lift you up

when you are down

and to love you

unconditionally through all of our

adventures in life together.

Stone then tells me to place the ring on Dean’s finger. Once I have the ring on his finger. Stone tells Dean to repeat after him.

“I Dean take you Lyric

to be my wife

as well as my old lady.

I take you

to be my best friend,

my faithful partner

and my one true love.

I promise to encourage you

and inspire you and to

love you truly through

good times and bad.

I will forever be there

to laugh with you, to lift you up

when you are down

and to love you

unconditionally through all of our

adventures in life together.

Dean then takes my engagement ring off and slips my wedding ring on my finger followed by my engagement ring; He then kisses them both and we look back at Stone.

“I’m honored by the Commonwealth State of Kentucky that I can now announce that you two are official hitched. Titan kiss the fuck out of your Wife already.” Stone announces.

Everyone laughs and Dean grabs my face and kisses me with so much emotion and love. I relax into his kiss.

“I’ll punch any boy that tries to kiss you like daddy’s kissing momma!” Jamie says to Jazz loud enough for everyone to hear.

We break apart and start laughing as does everyone else that heard him. Dean picks me up and carries me towards his office.

“I love you husband.” I say as I lower my head to his ear.

“I love you wife.” He responds with a growl.

He kisses me as we make our way down the hall to the door to his office. He stops kissing me long enough to open the door and moves us through to his office. He shuts the door and moves us to his desk where he sits me on it and moves himself between my legs.

“You’re my dream come true baby. I have loved you since I was nineteen. It was then that I realized what my dad was telling me.

“You’ll now the woman you’re meant to spend your life with when you touch for the first time. You’ll feel the electricity flow from both of you. She’ll be your Forever Girl son. Don’t mess it up and lose her. You’ll never find another girl like her again.” My dad said to me.

I lost you once and then I was a lucky fucking bastard to find you again. I’ll make you happy and safe for the rest of our lives baby. I hope you’re as happy as I am right now.” He says to me.

“You’re my happily ever after. You get some serious brownie points for this surprise.” I say as I have tears coming out of my eyes.

“You haven’t seen our fucking reception yet babe.” He says to me with a chuckle.

“Did you think you would get a wedding without a reception baby?” He says with a laugh.

“I’m amazed that you were able to pull this off without me even suspecting a thing.”

He shakes his head and tells me that he’s just as surprised. He looks at me and then he looks down at my wrist and then back up to my face.

“Baby are those the birthday gifts I gave you when you turned seventeen?” He asks after he spots my jewelry.

“They are my love. I have kept them in my jewelry box. I only wear them when I dress up because they’re my most prized treasures.” I respond.

“We have to get to the reception before I’m tempted to take you here.” He says then he kisses me hard.

We walk into the bar hand in hand and it’s been transformed into a beautiful reception area. Someone announces us as Mr. and Mrs. Dean “Titan” Henderson and everyone starts clapping, hollering and whistling. There are champagne and baby blue colored streamers all over the ceiling and the tables are covered in champagne colored table clothes with baby blue napkins. The centerpieces are mirrors with glass bowls on top of them with baby blue beads and champagne colored candles. The Bride and Groom table has Mason jars instead of Champagne Shute’s. I see the non-alcoholic juice and smile at my husband. Next to our table is a Four Tiered Cake with a waterfall. There are three more cakes surrounding the first one and they’re just as beautiful. On the two tiered cake is a little Bride and Groom. The bride’s in a dress like mine and in little converse and the groom’s in jean and a white shirt with a cut and biker boots.

“I love the figures on the cake.” I say to my man with a small laugh.

“Ellie had the cake made for us.” He informs me.

I look for mamaw and as I spot her she walks up to me.
