Jacqueline Pearce is the author of several books for children and young adults, including
Mystery of the Missing Luck,
also in the Orca Echoes series. Her stories are inspired by local history, nature and animals, as well as multicultural experiences. One of the things Jacqueline loves about writing is when the research leads her to interesting places, such as faraway Japan or the closer-to-home old Agassiz graveyard. Jacqueline grew up on Vancouver Island and currently lives in Burnaby, British Columbia, with her husband, daughter and two cats.
