Long after the last note had died, there was no sound in the hall. Felix stood. Tears shone in his eyes. “That was magnificent. Stupendous. Spectacular. No one has ever played like this ever, and no one ever will. Why did you ever hold back before? The passion, the drive, and the love for music…it’s bowled me over.”

She stood. “You like it?”

He walked up, held her hands, and kissed them. “Like it? I love it. You’re going to be the first chair at the orchestra. No one else can play as beautifully. You, my sweet, are the heart and soul of our orchestra.”

Christina grinned. Finally, she had got what she wanted. And soon, she would be even better. She’d learnt the most important lesson of all; and that was to be as passionate on the stage as she was on the bed.

Now, nothing could stop her from achieving her dreams.
