“Nah, it’s good,” Michelle declined. “Let’s get out of here. I lost my job and my manger was talking about calling the police. I am not trying to go to jail over that shit. It’s pointless. When I see them hoes in the streets it’s on. You got that dough cheese I asked you to hold?”

Charisma reached in her bra. “Yeah girl, I got it.” She had already taken her cut out. Whether Michelle knew or not, she could care less. She was nobody’s damn baby sitter!

Michelle started up the engine of her Mustang and left skid marks in the parking lot of The Platinum. That was the last time that club was going to see her phat black ass…

Until she came back for revenge.

~Chapter 7~

Back in Florida…

Candy’s heels hit the concrete as she tried to make something happen. She owed Blaze some money and had to return home in a matter of hours to work the hoe stroll. She knew it was impossible to miss a night out on the stroll. Blaze didn’t play that at all. He didn’t care if it rained, hailed, snowed and sleeted; you sure as hell were going to hit that concrete. You could have a high fever and just one leg and he would still put you out on that blade. No excuse was acceptable to him.

Candy stared at the ongoing traffic that drove by her. Everyone seemed like they were in a rush to either pick their kids up from school, pick their love ones up for work, or just to make it home. No one was paying her any mind at all. After three dreadful hours of pacing up and down the street, Candy stopped at a local bar to see if she could land a date in there. Most importantly a few shots of Jack Daniels would do her major justice. Her head hurt so damn bad from the ass whooping she’d received that she swore she was about to pass out in the middle of the street and die.

Candy thought about her daughter that was back at home.
Should I just get on the next Greyhound and get far out of dodge? No, I can’t do that. I have a daughter that needs me. Plus I love Blaze too much. He took me in when no one else would. Ugh! What in the hell can I do to get some quick cash to make Blaze realize that I’m a good hoe? Money always makes things right with him. I need to start being more loyal. Uh, I must do right by my daddy.
Candy traced the rim of her shot glass as she pondered.

Six shots later Candy was tipsy and Jack was starting to talk to her, feeding her mind with all types of crucial things. She wobbled out of the bar and began walking down the street cursing herself. “Don't no man want no drunk hoe!” she mimicked Blaze words. She stopped at the corner of Sesame Drive and stared at the corner store in front of her. The corner store was old as dirt and ran down. The owner was just as old. Staring into the store she noticed that old man Donald was working alone as usual. A smile crept across Candy’s face. The cash register had to have a couple of hundred and then the safe in the back would make things even more lovely.

Candy quickly went into action as she whipped the scarf on her head off and began covering her face. Seconds thoughts never crossed her mind.

She went into her purse and retrieved the small .22 handguns that Blaze had purchased for her after her umpteenth time getting robbed and raped. It was only supposed to be exposed if she was in a dangerous situation. To her she
was
in a dangerous situation. If she went home broke, that was going to be her ass. After an ass whooping to remember, her and her child may be tossed out on the streets. There was no way she could go back home broke! She took her purse and hid it in a nearby trashcan. Nothing important was in there. The only thing she carried around was a picture of her daughter and a purse full of condoms and Tic Tacs; no ID or anything valuable.

She searched up and down the block. The sun had just rested over thirty minutes ago and the streetlights were just coming on.

“Damn Blaze, why you put me in situations like this? You know damn well there was no money out this mother fucker!” Candy cursed while walking across the street. Sighing, she walked into the store.

“I’m closed,” Old Man Donald yapped from behind the counter. He was so busy digging in his safe taking money out for the morning deposits that he made every Friday morning.

Candy quickly rushed behind the counter. Her adrenaline circulated at a fast pace. “Give me all that fucking money,” she said, disguising her voice.

Old Man Donald quickly looked up startled to death. The last time he was robbed was about 10 years ago. After placing a bullet in the back of the robber’s skull, no one had ever tried him again and he had no worries. He cursed himself for leaving his protection at home. Something told him to bring it but he had decided otherwise. Hesitantly, he began emptying the money out of the safe. The only thing that mattered to him at that second was his life, and him making it to the hospital to see his wife who was dying from cancer.

Pulling the money out, Donald began to cry and pray for his life. Some people got behind a trigger and so many possibilities existed. There could be a mistake, the joy of the adrenaline rush, a cold-blooded murder, and so on. He placed all of the money on top of the counter. “That’s all I have.”

Candy’s eyes enlarged seeing all the money laid across the counter top. She was going to be Blaze’s number on hands down. There had to be at least $5,000 or more lying across the counter. She ripped a black plastic bag from the bag rack and tossed it to Donald.

Without saying a word, Donald already knew what to do. He quickly filled the bag up with his hard earned money. He was too old for all the chaos and it was taking a whipping on his old soul. His mind was already made up. He was passing the store down to one of his grandchildren. They could deal with the chaos if chosen.

Candy snatched the bag out of his hand and made a run for it. Had Old Man Donald worn his glasses he would have seen the palm sized tattoo across Candy’s back that read ‘Candy’ with a heart and then underneath ‘Blaze’s Bitch’.

Old Man Donald sprawled across the floor, crying and praying to the man who had a light shining over top of him. “Glory be to the Lord! Thank you! Thank you!” he repeated. Candy had been so eager that Donald didn’t know how bad things could have gotten.

Leaving her purse behind, Candy continued to make her way home. Rushing into the house she bumped into her daughter. She picked her up and planted kisses all over her forehead. The stunt that she just pulled could have cost her her life. She loved the adrenaline rush that she had received. Already she was anticipating pulling another stunt. Besides, it was just so damn easy. She thought about robbing old men instead of turning tricks. Candy climbed the steps two by two. She slammed the door to her room and began counting the money.

“9,000-fucking-thousand dollars,” Candy cooed, totaling the money up.
Please! All this money, a bitch doesn’t have to work the stroll for a few days,
she thought.
Fuck that, I’m itching this shit out to Blaze and get my fucking party on. This pussy needs a break! There’s no way I would break him off with all this money to be on the stroll working my ass off. You give a nigga this much money, he gon’ want this much all the damn time. Besides, I don’t want this nigga questioning me about where I got this money from.

Candy stood in front of the mirror and did a few booty claps and spun around before falling out on the bed next to the money. She picked the money up smelling it then laid it back down on the bed.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

“Bitch, unlock this door. What the hell you doing up in there!” Blaze cursed from the other side of the door.

Why is he back so soon,
Candy thought until she looked at the clock and realized that she was back late verses him being back early. He was vexed that Candy had ran pass him ignoring him, not once acknowledging him about his damn money. Noticing how much of a rush she was in he figured that she had to be in that room hiding something.

Candy quickly grabbed the money, taking $2100 out of the bundle and hiding the rest under her mattress. “Sorry, Blaze. I just wanted some alone time,” Candy said opening up the door. “This fucking trick I dated pissed me off so much. I had to do him and four of his fucking coworkers and it wasn’t fucking fun nor pretty,” Candy lied. She went into her bra and pulled out the money, handing it over to Blaze.

Blaze licked his fingers and began counting the money. “For sho, you did your thing, little mama. It was about to be Blaze’s way or the fucking highway.” He smiled. He was impressed that Candy had gone out there and made things happen.

“Yes Daddy. I have to switch my act up,” she said.

Later that night Blaze took his bitches to the concrete. The four girls in his stable were the fliest out on the hoe stroll. You would have thought they had just stepped off of a flight from Hollywood or something. They were definitely super official! When Blaze and his girls stepped out they shut the city down making a major impression. Blaze always encouraged his girls to make all they could make in one night. The more they made, the bigger their allowance would be.

Candy and Dottie stood on the corner inches away from three other hoes that they were familiar with.

“I hope these bitches ain’t out here bear backing and sucking and fucking for $50 bucks tonight,” Dottie said, sucking her teeth.

Candy shook her head in agreement. “These cheap whores killing the game.”

The chicks they were talking about were some renegade hoes. They didn’t know better; they had no guidance at all. Sunday through Thursday some of the pimps allowed for the renegades to work the blade, only because they had their girls working the phones or off in a bigger city. During the weekend it there was chaos because if you weren’t with no pimp then you weren’t standing on the corner next to a certified hoe.

Candy and Dottie grilled the chicks up and down. The girls returned the gesture and it was an ice grilling war for the next few minutes.

“See, Daddy needs to run these dusty hoes off the stroll,” Dottie whined, watching one of the girls get into the car with a trick that had just turned her down because she charged too much. The renegade happily switched her tail over to the car to sell herself for $200 cheaper.

Candy walked to the end of the block and watched the ongoing traffic that was held up at the light across from her. She was going to go catch her a trick and then head off to some local club, party the night away, and then meet Blaze back at the house by morning. She planned to tell him that she’d had an all-nighter and break him off with some of her proceeds from the club. She even thought about stopping at the mall and picking her daughter up a few items. She had everything all planned out and according to her strategy she was sure that everything was going to work out just fine.

When the light turned green Candy turned around lifting her skirt up in the air and smacking her bare ass. That did the trick. Cars piled up on the side of the road. The temptation was unreasonable. Candy was about to turn non-tricks into her number one money resource.

Candy handpicked who she wanted to go with, choosing who ever looked like they had the most money and the smallest package. She didn’t have time for making love. She needed to make a few quick bucks and head to the club.

“Dottie, come over here and get some of this money!” Candy yelled.

The men were gawking like they were in a candy shop. Instead they were on a hoe stroll filled with sweet, ready to do anything if the price was right hoes.

Dottie rushed over to where Candy was. She had to make something shake. She didn’t have a penny to her name. She pulled her skirt up thigh high, showing off her thick thighs. “Hey fellas.” Dottie decided to talk to African American men that were dressed in suits and ties. She figured that they were some sort of business executives who had just gotten off work. Their demeanor screamed money and their eyes lit up with pure lust once Dottie appeared next to the passenger side door. She leaned in the car, causing her super delicious looking C-cup breasts to rest on the door panel. After a few minutes of discussion and receiving her funds up front, Dottie got in the car and the trio pulled off to go enjoy a few minutes of heaven.

Candy turned her nose up as she watched Dottie pull off.  The two men had been her first thought but Dottie got to them faster. She walked up to a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Inside was an older white man.
Ugh, I don’t feel like dealing with this fat ass motherfucker. I swear,
she thought.
“Hey, baby. How you doing? You wanna have some fun?” Candy licked her lips. In her line of business she went from mean to phony in zero point zero seconds. You always had to remain nice and humble when it came down to the business of tricking.

Candy stared the man up and down, gawking at his belly that hung way over his waistline. She was ready to vomit. She stared to walk off until she heard Blaze, feet away getting his pimp on. Turning around, she saw him spitting some game at another pimp’s hoe. If you could pimp on the next pimp’s bitch and take his hoe, then that hoe wasn’t loyal and you were that nigga.

“Bitch, that pussy was made for hoeing and a whole lot of blowing. Choose up and be a winner. Its Blaze’s way, baby,” Blaze urged.

The girl held her head to the ground and got out of dodge.

Candy stared Blaze in his eyes. It was like he was telling her she better get her ass in the truck and make his money. She quickly got in the truck with the fat white man that made her stomach turn. As they pulled up to the red light Candy turned her nose up. Her nostrils were filled with a foul odor. She turned in her seat and stared at the trick. “What you wanna do and how much you got?” Candy asked with a nasty attitude.

“Everything!” The white man cheesed.

“Everything? Do you got money for everything?” Candy questioned. She sure as hell didn’t want to do nothing with him. Jerking him off with her eyes closed was the most she wanted to do.

“How much?”

“$750 for everything,” Candy replied, praying that he didn’t have that sort of money to play with.

He nodded his head up and down agreeing.
