elicity sat on her bed wearing pink plaid pajama pants with a
matching solid pink short-sleeve tee as she stared at her parents
while they told her what their plans were for tonight.
“Now, Felicity.
You know
you’re not
supposed to be going to Moves tonight, but we said that it was okay
if Erin wanted to stop by, but no guys,” Todd said.
Felicity grinned. “No problem.”
“Also, you don’t have to worry about
babysitting Mallory and Mason because they’re both sleeping over at
their best friend’s houses,” Catherine said.
“Thank God,” Felicity said with a grin.
“That’s not nice, Felicity,” Todd said.
“I’m not tryin’ to be mean. It’s just that
I’m glad to have the house all to myself for tonight,” Felicity
replied.
“At least until midnight,” Catherine said.
“We may even try to be back by then, but if we’re not, then one of
us will call or text you.”
“Cool. I’ll be here,” Felicity said. “Since
it’s raining outside, it’ll be nice for me and Erin to watch a
scary movie or something.”
“You can do whatever you want except invite
guys over,” Todd said. He looked at his watch. “We better get
going, Catherine,” he told her. He looked at Felicity. “Felicity,
we just want you to take a break from Moves for a while, okay? You
know we don’t mind you going there and even agreed to go back on
our word about not letting you go back there since that was the
first time that you went too far last night.”
Not far enough,
Felicity thought. “I know, Dad. I don’t need a
second lecture about it. Erin and I were talking about taking a
break from there for about a week now, so there’s no better time to
do it than now.”
“Glad to hear it,” Todd said. “We’ll see you
later.”
“And we’ll call or text you if we don’t
think we’ll be home by midnight,” Catherine said.
Felicity picked up a book. “Okay. You two
have fun.”
“Bye, Felicity,” they said.
“Bye,” Felicity replied with a grin.
When her parents left her room, she dropped
the book, walked to her window and waited to see them leave. She
looked over across the street through the pouring rain at Taylor’s
bedroom window. The light to his room was off.
Minutes later, she watched as her parents
backed out of the garage and out of the driveway, and then drove
down the street. She checked the time; it was a little bit after
seven o’clock. She went over to her vanity set and sat down to put
her makeup on and fix her hair. She took off her pajamas and put on
her sexy black lace tee with a wide scoop neckline and cap sleeves,
and then slipped on her skinny jeans and black platform heels. She
got on her phone and called Erin. “Okay, Erin. I’m ready to
go.”
Several minutes later, Erin
drove them through the pouring rain to where Felicity knew she had
no business being at tonight, Moves. “It’s raining so
fuckin’
hard
!” she
said, as she drove slower than normal. “Are you sure you wanna go
here tonight? I don’t know how many people are gonna be there since
it’s raining so hard.”
“Oh, come on, Erin. It’s rain, not snow and
ice. Where my parents are from, they had to deal with snow for
almost more than half the year. That’s why we ended up here in Las
Vegas. The only snow I know of is up in the mountains.”
“Don’t forget the snow we had that one
morning our junior year that actually made its way down here! You
were so scared to drive that I had to come and get you to take you
to school!” Erin laughed.
Felicity laughed. “Yeah,
you’re right! And that’s because you’re a better driver than I am!
I
definitely
saw
that day why my parents moved out here when I was only two years
old!”
“You sure did!” Erin replied with a
laugh.
“Well, I should tell you that Max is
bringing more weed to Moves tonight. When I was at his house, he
said his dealer was bringing in another supply of it for him, so if
you want some, let me know,” Felicity said with a grin.
“No thanks,” Erin said. “I didn’t like the
way it made me feel after that one time when I tried it at that
party six months back that you dragged me to. And you better think
twice about having a few puffs yourself because you know you’re not
supposed to be coming here.”
Felicity grinned. “Well, we’re only gonna
stay a few hours. My parents said that they will call or text me if
they’re gonna stay out past midnight. They’re going to dinner with
some friends from out of town and then they said that they’re all
going to a concert after that has a lot of performers, so I don’t
know what time they’ll be back.”
“Well, you better be on high alert for their
calls or texts, Felicity, so my suggestion is not to get high
tonight or drunk.”
Felicity laughed. “I can’t promise
that!”
They finally arrived at Moves about ten
minutes later than they normally did. It was still raining hard,
but the parking lot was already packed with cars even though there
was no line outside.
“I guess they’re not letting anyone wait
outside,” Felicity said. “And they shouldn’t in this rain.”
Erin slowly drove around the parking lot for
a space with the windshield wipers on full speed as the rain
continued to come down hard. “I don’t see any parking spaces.”
“Well, drop me off at the front since the
entryway is completely covered,” Felicity told her.
Erin glared at her. “And you expect me to
circle around here trying to find a space?”
“It’s your car,” Felicity replied with a
grin.
“Yeah, but you wanted to come here!” Erin
snapped back.
“I didn’t know it was gonna be raining this
hard today, Erin. Do you have an umbrella?”
“Do you?” Erin asked.
“Yeah, I do . . . but it’s at home,”
Felicity replied with a grin. “That’s why I wore a jacket with a
hood on it, but I don’t need it now!” She took off the jacket.
Erin pulled up to the front of the club
where it was completely dry. “Get out!” she said with a grin. “And
yeah, I have an umbrella.”
“See you inside!” Felicity replied, and then
got out of the car, shut the door, walked towards the club and
inside without having her ID checked, unlike the few people who
were standing in line as they waited for a bouncer to check theirs.
She also didn’t have to pay the $10 cover charge.
As she walked through the
club over to her reserved table for her and Erin, she saw how it
was just as crowded as it was the night before . . . and it was
complete déjà vu that some of the people that she’d caused fuckery
to were also here tonight as well! She sat down at her table as she
noticed Sloan with his friends as they sat at a table that faced
the dance floor. She looked out on the dance floor and saw Jay
dancing with Stacia. And Stacia was looking hot once again as she
wore a beautiful teal blue long-sleeve blouse and black leather
pants with a slight flare. Her long, thick high ponytail swished
from side to side as she danced like no one was watching.
She wears too much fuckin’ makeup — just like a
tranny,
she thought, as she glared at
her.
Minutes later, Erin walked over to the table
and sat down. “Damn, I already see a lot of people from our school
that’s here; it’s almost just like last night!”
“Yeah, I noticed them when I walked in here
and sat down. There must not be anything to do tonight as well,”
Felicity said. She looked all around her. “Where’s Carson? I want a
drink.”
“And I hope you don’t want one with
alcohol,” Erin said.
“Do you want one?” Felicity asked.
Erin shrugged. “I don’t know. Something
didn’t seem right about that drink last night, Felicity. I felt
that I was drugged for some reason. I didn’t wanna say anything to
you about it.”
Felicity stared at her. “Why would someone
wanna drug your drink, Erin? You haven’t done anything to anyone.
Maybe it was just the bad headache that you had. And look at the
weather outside? Don’t you usually get bad headaches before rain
comes?”
“Sometimes,” Erin replied. “But I just can’t
get my mind off of the fact that the drink tasted strange. I know
there’s no alcohol served in here, but my soda had a funny taste to
it; I can’t explain it.”
“Well, maybe it was a bad soda, Erin. I’ve
had a lot of sodas that were bad and tasted like club soda or
something funny-tasting like that. Do you just want some
water?”
“Yeah, that’s fine. But tell them I want
bottled water that’s sealed,” Erin replied.
“Okay, will do,” Felicity said. She got up
and texted Carson about drinks.
“Where are you going?” Erin asked.
“To meet Carson by the bar since I just
texted him about getting us drinks,” Felicity replied, and then got
up and left the table. She looked at her phone and noticed how
Carson hadn’t responded to her. She continued to take in the
atmosphere and was still surprised to see that it was almost an
exact repeat of last night, and that the only difference was that
everyone was wearing something different. She winked and flirted
with guys that she’d seen here before, as well as ones that she’d
never seen before. She then passed a group of six girls who were
sitting at a table.
“Go, fuck girl! Go, fuck girl!” half of the
girls chanted.
Felicity looked at them as
the whole table stared back at her as they all laughed.
Yeah, fuck you, haters!
Ugly cunts!
she thought, as she
continued to walk to the bar, but didn’t want to say anything
directly to them that would cause trouble because she knew she
shouldn’t have been here tonight, plus, she knew she was
outnumbered even though she was with Erin.
Several minutes later, Felicity came back
with a bottle of water for Erin and a soda for herself. “Sorry that
took so long.”
“Thanks,” Erin said, as she unscrewed the
cap on her water. She took a sip. “This tastes good. Did you tell
Carson that I think someone drugged my drink last night?”
“No, because I didn’t see him. He didn’t
respond to my texts, either. Maybe he’s not here tonight since he’s
been here every night that we’ve been here,” Felicity said, as she
looked around for him. “And I don’t see Max, either.”
“They obviously haven’t gotten here yet. But
I don’t want you going off with Max tonight,” Erin said. “Remember,
you’re not even supposed to be here tonight.”
Felicity grinned. “Well, if I go off with
him, it’s only off to his car in the parking lot for some alcohol
and weed—”
“Felicity!” Erin said.
“What?” Felicity replied with a grin.
“I’m trying to keep you out of trouble! I
already feel guilty about bringing you here tonight when I know I
shouldn’t have! Look, I think we better go now.”
Felicity looked at Erin as if she was crazy.
“Are you fuckin’ kidding me, Erin? We just got here! I’m not going
anywhere until I at least dance and interact with people, and you
need to do the same.”
“I honestly don’t feel like it,” Erin
replied. “I’m more worried about you getting back home before your
parents do.”
Felicity grinned as she looked at her phone
to see if either one of her parents had called or texted her; they
hadn’t. “Well, no word from them right now. Don’t worry, the minute
they call or text me to say that they’re either headed home or
they’re gonna be out longer, I’ll let you know.”
Erin nodded with a slight smile. “So, are
you gonna talk to Sloan tonight?” she asked with a grin.
“Nope,” Felicity replied.
“Why not? You did last night.”
“Because he was dancing with Willow and he
knows I hate her.”
Erin looked at her. “Um, Felicity. I don’t
know what to tell you, but when I was sitting in my car watching
people as they walked out of here last night when it was closed, I
saw Sloan and Willow leave together.”
“That son of a bitch!” Felicity angrily
replied.
“Don’t get mad, Felicity. You said that you
didn’t wanna have anything to do with him, and now you have a
reason to still wanna keep to that.”
“Well, I’ll fix him for this shit!” Felicity
said, and then got up out of her seat.
“Felicity, now don’t go fucking with him,
okay? You know you’re not supposed to be here in the first place,
so the last thing you need is to get into some trouble.”
“I’m not gonna get into any trouble, Erin. I
came here to have fun like the way I always do, and I’m tired of
sitting around so I’m going out there to dance by myself,” Felicity
said. She walked away from the table towards the dance floor and up
on the stage. Right away, she attracted guys to her who wanted to
dance with her.
Erin slightly smiled as she
stayed in her seat and watched Felicity, and she noticed how more
guys were crowding around her, hoping for their chance to dance
with her. Felicity stayed at the front of the stage as she
continued to dance as if these guys weren’t trying to get her to
dance with them. She looked away from Felicity for a second and saw
Carson walk by with a guy she’d never seen before.
That must be Max,
she
thought. “CARSON!” she yelled, and tried to wave him over to her,
but it appeared to her as if he didn’t see her, but she could’ve
sworn that he had. She looked back up to the stage and saw Felicity
still in the front of it dancing, but now a guy who she’d never
seen here before was holding her from behind. She shook her head
and as she did, she noticed how this guy let go of her and another
guy had his fun dancing with her, while other guys danced and stood
around as if they were waiting for their turn. “I don’t like the
look of this,” she mumbled, and then got up and made her way
through the crowd towards Felicity when suddenly, a guy that she’d
never seen here before stepped in her way.
