He
sighed when she took him into her mouth. She proceeded to devour him like a
lollipop she couldn’t get enough of. Her tongue traced the veins throbbing
along the underside of his shaft. Her hand stayed wrapped around his cock and
moved in time with her mouth. Her other fingers searched out the tiny bit of
flesh right behind his sac and brushed it. He jumped and then groaned. As she
pressed it again, he could feel his balls tighten and the pressure start to
build.

He jerked
away from her. Pushing her back onto the bed, he covered her. The inside of her
thighs were drenched as his fingers danced up to test her pussy. He found her
more than ready. Spreading her, he thrust into her quickly. She cried out as he
did it again. Soon he settled into a hard fast rhythm that drew cries from her
each time their groins met. The pressure built until he thought his head would
explode. He reached down between them and pinched her clit. Coming apart, she
cried out his name as she climaxed. He joined her as her inner muscles milked
him hard.

They
lay for several minutes letting their heart beats calm. He rolled off her when
he had recovered enough strength to do so. She draped her body across his
chest. A feeling of contentment washed over him as he ran his fingers through
her hair. She was tracing the cross on his chest.

“Did it
hurt?”

He
wasn’t sure if she would understand the truth. “I was already in agony over
being banished and having my wings taken from me. The brand was the least of my
pain.”

“Who
took your wings?”

“Mika’il
cut them off.”

“How
horrible.”

“It
wasn’t pleasant but it was less than we deserved. I’ve always been amazed that
God didn’t just cause us to cease to exist.”

“How
fair would that be if He gave humans free will but the moment you exercised
some, you were destroyed?”

“What
does fair have to do with it? Angels were created to worship Him, not decide
for ourselves who should lead. He’s showed His mercy by allowing us to live.”

“Do you
hate Him?”

He
laughed harshly. “I can’t hate the being that created me. It doesn’t matter
that I rebelled in a moment of weakness. I still chose to turn my back on Him.
He has every right to punish me as He sees fit.”

“Do you
hate Mika’il?”

“You
have to ask the hard questions, don’t you?” He thought about it for a few
minutes. “I don’t think I hate him. I resent him because he has what I long to
have back. When he comes to talk to me, I give him a hard time but I’d miss him
if he stopped coming around. I’m a total asshole when he visits. I get the
feeling though he knows why I treat him that way and gives me some leniency.”

“Can
you forgive him for taking your wings?” Her fingers plucked at his nipples.

He felt
his cock get hard again. Shrugging, he tried to focus on her question. “He was
doing what he was told to do and in many ways, I think, it hurt him more than
it hurt any of us.” He rolled her onto her back and covered her mouth with his.
After the kiss built, he pulled back and said, “No more questions. It’s all
about you and me tonight.”

She
agreed as his hands danced down her body and spread her legs apart. He fit
between them like he had been born for her. She was anticipating his first
thrust when he flipped her over on her stomach and then lifted her to her hands
and knees. She groaned as his cock slid into her pussy from behind. His hands
gripped her hips and held her steady as she thrust back towards him.

“Sweetheart,
your pussy is so hot and tight, it fits my cock like a glove,” his voice
growled as he rammed into her from behind.

She
arched her back and leaned down on her elbows to give him a better angle to
stroke her. They both groaned with mounting passion. Suddenly, he leaned down
and bit the tendon joining her neck and collarbone. She felt it straight down
to her pussy and she sobbed as she came. Two hard pumps later he joined her.

Climbing off her, he pulled the
covers back over them. He gathered her into his arms and fell asleep. She
followed him a few minutes later lulled to sleep by his breathing.

William
stretched as he came awake. For the first time since he could remember, he had
slept without nightmares. He smiled as he thought about what he had been doing
most of the night to ensure he didn’t have them. He rolled over onto his side
to look at Abby while she lay nestled beside him. Brushing his hand over her
cheek, he marveled at the pure innocence he saw in her face. She moaned as his
hand cupped her breast and squeezed. Her nipple stood up and he flicked it with
his fingernail. Arching her back, she moved. Leaning down, he engulfed her
nipple with his mouth and suckled. Her hands moved into his hair and held him
there, encouraging him to continue.

While
he teased her breast, one of his hands made its way down to her pussy. He was
thrilled to feel how wet she was. He ran his fingers through her curls and
dipped them farther between her legs. Stroking down both sides, he tried to be
careful not to touch her clit. He wanted to hear her beg before he gave her
pleasure. He moved to the other breast as her hold on his hair got tighter.
Soon her hips were moving in time with the pulls of his mouth. He penetrated
her with the tip of one finger and her arch drove it deeper. Smiling to
himself, he scraped the tip against the sensitive walls of her pussy as he
pulled it out. She threw back her head and cried out.

Kissing
his way down her belly, he moved between her legs. He knew she was fully awake
by then. He spread her lips and buried his mouth against her. She screamed as
his tongue started lapping at her hard clit. As he feasted on her, he slid
three fingers into her pussy and started stroking them in and out. Her hips
bucked as he built the excitement. Her legs locked around his shoulders and her
hands pressed his face tighter to her. Right before she exploded, he pulled away
and moved back up until his cock’s head pierced her pussy. One hard thrust in
and she came, screaming his name as he continued to pump into her warmth. He
came undone a moment later as she massaged his shaft with her muscles.

“What a
great way to wake up.” She smiled up at him as they caught their breath.

“I
always thought so.” He laughed as he pulled her from the bed. He silenced her
protest with a kiss. “You have to get ready for work. We’ve slept most of the
day away, I’m afraid.”

She
frowned when she looked at the clock. “I don’t want to go to work now. Not when
I have such a delicious man in my bed.” She leaned into his arms and gave him a
hug.

“I’ll
be in your bed tonight, so I think you can handle being away from me for a
shift.” He swatted her ass and pushed her towards the shower. “Get ready and
I’ll make you some dinner.”

When
she came into the kitchen thirty minutes later, he had dinner on the table and
coffee poured. She smiled and thought that she had never had anyone take such
good care of her. Digging in, she couldn’t believe how good the food tasted.

“Wow,
good-looking and an awesome cook. I’m definitely keeping you around.”

“Darling,
after several centuries, you would think I’d know how to cook for myself. I
couldn’t always go to restaurants.” He kept her company while she ate.

She
stood up to take her dishes to the sink. Stopping her, he pulled her to the
front door. “We have to leave or you’ll be late. I’ll take care of the dishes
later. I’ll be around at the end of your shift to pick you up.”

“I can
take care of myself.”

“I know
you can, but just humor me. Having gotten you into my bed, I’m not willing to
let anything to happen to you.” He pulled her into his tight embrace and she
felt the urgency in his grip.

She nodded. “All right, I’ll wait
for you.” She kissed him and they headed for the car.

Dominic
called him shortly after he dropped Abby off at the casino.

“What’s
up?”

Dominic’s
voice was hard. “Are you at full strength?”

Damn,
it had been a great couple of days without having to think about being an
Avenger. “Yes.”

“Good.
Meet me down by the river. I have a problem we need to take care of.”

“I’ll
be there.” He hung up, bowed his head and prayed. He knew that prayer didn’t
usually work for fallen angels. If it did, they would have all gotten back into
Heaven without any problems. He always prayed before he had to use his powers
to punish another of his brethren.

He made
his way to the river. Walking through the thickening dark, he found Dominic
standing over a sniveling dirt encrusted figure. Dominic looked at him and then
kicked at the fallen on the ground.

“Get
up.”

Curling
his lip in disgust, William didn’t understand how the demon fallen could let
themselves fall apart like that. Maybe it had to do with the madness that haunted
their every waking hour. The creature climbed to his feet and cringed before
him.

“What
did he do, LaFontaine?”

“Does
it matter?” Dominic held the man away from him with a grimace.

“In the
long run, probably not, but for my own peace of mind, I like to know what
they’ve done.” He started to gather his power. He grabbed the threads and wove
them together slowly. It could do more damage to him if he hurried.

“He
preyed on young boys. He would offer them games and candy. He would become
their friend and then he would molest them.” Dominic’s anger was threatening to
take over his control.

Just
like mortals, the Enforcers hated those who preyed on the innocence of
children. William snarled as he reached out and touched the man’s forehead. The
man’s head snapped back as a silent scream ripped from his throat. William felt
the surge of power whip through him as he gripped the demon fallen’s mind in
his hands and sucked all memories of Heaven and angelic life from it. The
blackened residue of the corrupted angel’s power trickled into William’s body.
He flushed it out into the ground. There was no way he would allow it to stay
inside him. He took the fallen’s blood and body apart and rebuilt it as a
mortal. He stripped its mind of everything except what it used to be and what
it was now. The man’s eyes rolled back into his head and he sagged in Dominic’s
hands as William slowly removed his touch.

He
stepped back as a feeling of depression and disgust flowed through him. The man
started to babble incoherently as drool dripped from his chin. Dominic secured
his hands and took care not to touch William.

“Go,
take a shower, rest and pick up Abby. Forget this night’s work for a while.”

“I
don’t ever forget the ones I punish. They haunt my mind just like the thoughts
of Heaven do.” William rubbed his chest. “Why do we think this is the right
thing to do? It’s only on the word of Mika’il that we do this.”

“Do you
think Mika’il would let us do anything that would ultimately harm anyone who
didn’t deserve it? Sometimes, I think that Mika’il has us deal with it because
his anger would be too great and he would end up destroying them all.”

“I’m
not sure about that. He strikes me as having more control than all of us
combined.”

Dominic
shrugged. “There’s a lot we don’t know or understand about the archangel. I’ll
drop this one off at the mental hospital.”

William nodded and headed back to
the car. He was going to his house to shower. He would try to scrub off the
feeling of guilt that always swamped him after a job. He was tired and very low
on power. He would have to replenish his supply. A small grin graced his face
as he thought about working on gathering more power. At least he would be able
to enjoy part of the night.

William
was leaning against her car when she got off of work. He gave her a quick kiss,
but she could tell his heart wasn’t in it.

“It’s
like having a good looking watch dog follow me around.” She laughed at him,
trying to get him to smile at her.

He
helped her into the car and climbed in the driver’s seat. Heading in the
opposite direction of her house, she asked, “Where are we going?”

“I’m
taking you to my house where I’m going to ravish you all night long.”

She
couldn’t hide the shiver of excitement racing over her body. “Sounds wonderful.
I’m your willing captive tonight.”

He
didn’t react to her obvious enjoyment. She reached out to touch his arm and
draw his attention to her.

“William,
what’s wrong?”

“Nothing.
I’m just worried about Thompson, that’s all.”

She
shook her head. “I don’t think that’s the whole thing. Tell me what happened.”

“I
can’t.”

“You
can’t or you won’t?”

“Right
at this moment, it’s both. I had some business to take care of tonight and I
don’t want to talk about it right now. Please just let me lose myself in you
for the rest of the night. Let me take you to Heaven.”

“You
promise?”
