Meeka
cried.
“And
I’ve

Catz

Meeka

Can

Tears

Paddy

of
Todd’s

and
hugged
Meeka
with
all
her

“You
have
nothing to

my
girl.
You
and
Kerrigan
saved

all.”
Pad

her
to
hug
her
son,

Kerrigan

Meeka
since
they
had
arrived
back
in
the
house. She

noticed
he

staring
out
the
window,
his
face
cast
in

Feeling
m

and

like
an
interloper,
Meeka
hid
her
sigh.
She

Meeka
knew
she
could

for
Pad

death.
Would

K

could
have
been
killed
because
of
her.
They
all
could have.
Putting
those
she
loved
at
risk
wasn’t
so

wanted
to

Kerrigan’s

up.
“Where

he
demanded.
Meeka
hung
her

and
twisted
her

“I
just

I’d

I don’t

and
I

She
hesitated
for
a

second,
looking

at ever

door,
but
Kerrigan

“Don’t

Todd circled
his
arm around Pad

“
I’ve got to speak

he said,
winking
at
Kerrigan.

Catz

She
