Elemental Magic 1

Earth's Desire

Earth elemental Ivy, with the powers of the forest and soil, has individually met and fallen in love with identical twin brothers and werewolves Luke and Levi. Torn between the two men, they make love to her with equal fervor, trying to win her heart over and allowing her to make the final decision of who she ultimately wants to be with.

During this time of new discovery, love, and confusion, The Hunters, a werewolf-hunting society, are closing in on them. Ivy is mistaken for a werewolf and taken to a hideout to lure her lovers to a trap. With danger lurking everywhere, she must trust the brothers equally to save her, and they, in turn, must trust two of her elemental sisters, with the powers of air and fire, to aid them in their search for Ivy, the only woman they have ever loved.

Prologue

The summer solstice had finally arrived on the heels of a rainy spring, and the ceremony had already begun. Most covens usually started their individual rituals during the daylight hours to celebrate the sun, basking in the renewed promise of the summer season and all it entailed. However, the Elementals celebrated their ritual during the evening as the sun finally drifted off into the night. This year, the rites would be remarkably altered. The Elementals’ time had come to share their powers with the next generation they would be creating tonight.

They gathered together beside a long-abandoned, dilapidated cabin high up in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Alberta. A soft, gentle breeze caressed their naked bodies, adding to their already-aroused state. With complete privacy, the four Elemental women and their mates stood in a circle, facing each other and holding hands, while the robed high priestess chanted the sacred rites. Candles burned around the perimeter of their ring, with scents of lemongrass and sage wafting subtly through the air. A sacred and humble clay bowl sat in the middle of the circle, containing a representation of their combined gifts, a maple leaf, a feather, a lit candle, and droplets of water. These gifts represented each Elemental’s individual powers, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.

This ceremony happened every thirty years in the evening of the summer solstice. The renewal of love vows between mates started the proceedings, followed by giving thanks to Mother Nature and the powers she had bestowed upon the women from birth. The clear night surged with energy, and lightning burst through the sky. Mother Nature seemed pleased. The time for the final chapter of the ritual had arrived.

The four women lay with their backs to the earth while their men knelt between their thighs and dragged a fingertip into the muddy ground. Then one by one, the men traced the corresponding element onto their partner’s stomach, above their fertile womb.

The high priestess, from their coven, turned north and strode across the circle to the first couple. Bending down, she laid her right hand on the symbol drawn onto the Earth Elemental’s stomach and said, “I mark you with the powers of the earth. May you bless everyone you touch.”

She stood up, turned east, and walked to the second couple. She laid her right hand on her stomach over the symbol and said, “I mark you with the powers of the air. May you show love to everyone around you.”

She stood up and turned south. Repeating the process again, she said, “I mark you with the powers of fire. May you show care to every living creature.”

Turning west to the final couple, she repeated, one last time, the necessary steps and joyfully affirmed, “I mark you with the power of water. May you give hope to the hopeless.”

The high priestess stepped back to the middle of the circle. Picking up the clay bowl, she held it over her head and prayed to Mother Nature, “We humbly and lovingly ask for you to bless these unions with girls who will carry on your powers for good.”

The earth rumbled beneath their bodies, the wind picked up and blew around their circle, the rain came down in soft droplets, and a lightning bolt burst from the sky straight into the clay bowl. The high priestess, unharmed from the strike, announced to the couples, “Mother Nature is pleased. Let the mating beginning.”

In unison, the men grabbed their erections and easily slid them inside their mates. They made love to each other with the lightning still flashing through the night sky, protecting them and blessing their unions, while the other elements silently faded away. Tonight, all four couples created new lives.

Nine months later, four girls were born with unimaginable powers even stronger than their mothers were before them.

Chapter 1

29 years, 8 months later…

As the early morning spring sunshine streamed through the crack in her bedroom-window curtains, Ivy stretched languorously on her queen bed. She knew she could sleep in today since she didn’t have to go to work until the afternoon, but the earth called to her, beckoning her to come outside. She had been born almost thirty years ago under the Earth sign, as her mother had been before her. Yet her powers were greater than her mother’s. As she neared the summer solstice, she found her body craving the touch of a man. Her hormones were running rampant in her body, and she found herself constantly in a heightened state of arousal.
