“I don’t have dealings with anyone. That would be my Dad. Why do you think I’ve had anything do with another MC?” She was trying to steer the conversation her way but she wasn’t going to win with him.

“You know and recognise the structure of one. Pretty big give away. No one outside an MC knows unless they’ve lived it for a while.” She looked pissed off that she had given something away. He pressed “So, which MC was it?”

“Riot. Three weeks.” Her eyes were averted and she spoke the words rapidly. He didn’t get the impression that she was lying. Shame, he had some fun ideas on how to make her tell the truth. The thought that any of those rat faced fuckers might have touched Nicole made him want to set each one of them on fire.

“They’re whacked. Hardcore in some shit. Bastards don’t know when they’re beat.” Duke had a thought. “You might just come in handy after all.” Riot had been a pain in their ass since they started their MC a few years ago. They were ruthless but not smart and Nicole might just be the thing they need to get rid of them permanently.

“I didn’t get dragged into any shit. I just cleaned, served and kept my head down.” He could tell she was holding back.

“I don’t believe that for a second. Pussy that fine don’t walk through a club without some dicks trying to get it. You’ll know something. You just don’t know what you know. Could seem normal there, not important, yet could be quality info for us. It’s all business.”

“Listen, I don’t know anything. Everything that went on was behind closed doors. Please, just leave me out of it.” He could see her face pale, something had gone down at that club for her to be unable to disguise her reaction. She was clamming up with him and he didn’t want that. He wanted the info sure, but if some bastard had hurt Nicole they’d be paying for it with blood.

“We’ll see, sweetheart. Bar’s stocked now. Go rest up for an hour before the brothers get here. It’s going to be a long night. Not squeamish are you?” She wrinkled her nose in disgust, then quickly blanked her face again. Yeah, she knew what went on in an MC, definitely.

“Nah. Looking forward to some action.” She was trying to act nonchalant by wiggling her eyebrows. The very idea that she would get involved with some of the shit that happened here drove him into action.

Duke charged around the bar and backed her up to the wall. Caging her in with his arms, he bent and brought his lips within an inch of hers. Her perfect fucking breasts brushed against him as she panted from panic or lust, he wasn’t sure which and didn’t give a fuck at the moment with her soft curves pressed against him.

Starring into her eyes he whispered, “You look for action, you look for me. No other.” His eyes drifted all over her face, taking in every detail. Her lips were wet and parted as she dragged air into her lungs. “Fuck. What I could do to that mouth. You said yourself I own you, so heed my words, baby.”

He gently trailed his finger just above her shorts on the skin exposed below her tank. He felt her break out in goosebumps where he touched and her stomach muscles tense. His breath sawed in and out of him, mirroring hers. He pressed his weight onto her for a second, aligning there bodies perfectly. She gasped, feeling his obvious arousal.

Moving away, he forced out, “Get your rest, you’re gonna need it.”

His voice was gruff, his mouth filled with saliva. She literally made his mouth water. He turned away, grabbed his beer and made his way to his apartment, readjusting his throbbing junk once he was out of her sight.

Chapter three
Nicole

What the fuck was that? She’d have to get to a bathroom, fast, because she was pretty sure her juices had soaked through her shorts. In her room, she pressed her hand between her thighs to try and stop the throbbing. She was slick with juices and he’d only touched her for a second. She could still feel the heat on her stomach, a perfect path mapping where his finger had wandered.

This is what she got for not having sex in nine months. She must be in some type of withdrawal. Her body was craving his. She told herself it was only physical because the guy was clearly a jackass. How did he manage to fluster her so quickly? He pushed through the front she had put up instantly, no one had ever affected her like that. She wouldn’t survive her time here in this state. There was only one thing for it…..get it over with by getting under him, then get on with her life.

Nicole had never been prudish and accepted sex for what it was. Sometimes it showed emotion between a couple and sometimes it scratched an itch. It didn’t have to be complicated. There was a rawness to Duke that made her body quiver. She could only imagine what state he could put her into if she gave him a chance. She’d have to make it clear that she wasn’t looking to hook up randomly with the brothers. She hadn’t met many of them yet but she was confident that none of them would affect her like Duke had. If they did, God help her. Accepting her fate that she was going to give it up for Duke and pretending she was reluctant and not the least bit excited or nervous, she opened her tiny window and lay down on the bed.

The cool breeze was a nice relief on her heated skin. Turning her mind to their conversation, she had never given a thought to how spending time with Riot MC as collateral would be perceived here. She should have, it was foolish of her not to. She’d heard enough talk about Fallen MC while she was there. This could definitely become a problem if it became general knowledge.

They could treat her as some kind of informant for Riot. If they did, her time here would be miserable and no doubt, painful. They could also see her as a commodity, like Duke suggested. It would be incredibly stupid and dangerous if she ended up between rival MC’s, especially when she wasn’t guaranteed protection from either. If Riot found out she was here she was positive that Wrath, their president, would have her hunted down to find out what she knew and what she’d divulged. The odds were that she wouldn’t get to walk away from an encounter like that.

She hadn’t been collateral for Riot for two years. If she told Fallen anything and it turned out to not be the case anymore then they could accuse her of setting them up or working with Riot, neither of which would be true. This was a lose-lose situation for her and she’d avoid it at all costs. No good could come from it. It all came down to trust. If Fallen trusted her information, or if a Riot trusted her to not spill any information. She had nobody’s trust.

She didn’t give her trust easily and neither would any of the brothers in Fallen, but something in her trusted Duke not to screw her over and she prayed he would keep it to himself. It was in their nature as an MC to be suspicious of the unknown, it’s critical for their survival. She sure wasn’t going to advertise being with Riot around Fallen, that’s for definite. Now all she needed was for Duke to keep his mouth firmly shut. He had seemed to understand her reluctance to share. Getting caught up between two rival MC’s was the most dangerous situation to be put it.

In the back of her mind, she recalled her Dad saying his dealings were exclusive with Riot. That had obviously been bullshit. Much of what he said usually was. Most of the members of Riot MC were scary bastards, particularly, Wrath. He’d taken a liking to her instantly and she’d spent most of her days trying to hide from him. She only faced him when ordered to. Luckily, he spent most of his time high or drunk and she was quickly forgotten when she hid. She was fortunate that being collateral only made her their slave, as they called her, but not a sex slave. Some of the brothers had tried enticing her with offers of drugs and money but she’d never sink that low to give it up for any other reason than that she wanted to. She wasn’t a club slut and there because she wanted to be. She had no loyalty to them, so they had to be careful how far they pushed.

Curse her bastard Father for putting her in this situation again. She was ever so slightly grateful that he’d made a deal with Fallen instead of Riot again. She didn’t feel threatened by this club. She was wary, it’d be stupid not to be, but she felt a certain amount of assurance that she wouldn’t be harmed, at least by the men. Those bitches hadn’t taken kindly to her presence and bitches were never to be trusted or underestimated. They only cared about themselves and any standing they thought they had within the club. They’d turn on each other like starving dogs with the slightest provocation if they thought it would favour them in the eyes of the brothers. She guessed tonight would be telling if she was right in her verdict about Fallen MC. She sure hoped she was. The alternative wasn’t very appealing. The fact that they were having a Sunday barbecue seemed almost family friendly, yet Duke had mentioned about being ‘squeamish’ and that didn’t fit into her scenario.

She couldn’t believe it was Sunday. When she’d heard one of the skanks mutter it to another as they were entering the bar earlier about the monthly Sunday barbecue, she’d almost demanded to see a calendar. Whatever Slam had drugged her with had caused her to lose Friday night and most of Saturday. No wonder she felt well rested. She’d have to give him some friendly advice to check his dosages in the future. There’s no way they wanted her to be out for twenty-four hours.

She figured her time-out was almost up. She needed to get her hands on a clock or preferably her cell phone. No doubt she wasn’t going to see that thing for a while. The quickest her Dad had ever recovered her was eight days and she didn’t believe he was going to break that record any time soon.

Reluctantly pulling herself from the bed, she changed into her cream, tailored, mini shorts and another Fallen black tank. She paired her combo with her nude stilettos. Her friend, Sandy, said she must have been born wearing stilettos because she’d never seen her wearing anything else. Looking into the mirror she decided that it was pointless doing her full make up if she would just sweat it off, so, she added another layer of mascara and a touch of eyeliner, making hers eyes pop. She smoothed her hair best she could and put it into a high pony, she would be cooler that way and it wouldn’t fall into whatever filth or spilled drinks she’d be told to deal with. She was happy with the overall result.

Taking a couple of deep breaths and giving herself an internal pep talk, Nicole left her room and headed back to the bar. Entering, she noticed a few women and brothers had arrived and some of the tables were covered with bowls of chips and peanuts. There were some empty glasses littered about already. She knew straight away she’d have a lot of cleaning up to do later. Thank god they had hard wood floors throughout, she couldn’t stand the smell of carpet cleaner.

It was smoky and the classic rock music playing outside was quite loud, it gave it a good atmosphere, kind of like a local town bar. Duke never told her what she was supposed to do when she returned so she made her way through the room to work behind the bar. As she’d stocked it she knew where everything was and it kept a barrier between her and everybody else until she got the lay of the land.

A few brothers started to notice her entrance and greeted her with catcalls and whistling. She surreptitiously scanned the room for Duke, Prez or Slam to check her duties with. They weren’t around though so she’d stick to her original plan. Fallen had some seriously good looking brothers, it was like a casting call for Calvin Klein. Four brothers were propping up the bar, she stood a couple of feet down from them and made eye contact with the guy already serving. He was short for a guy, well built with a shaved head. A vicious looking snake tattoo came from inside his top and curled round his neck, ending with its head just above his ear.

Clearing her throat she asked loudly, “Can I help?” She didn’t want to wait around to be told what to do.

“Sure. Get your ass back here. Who are you anyhow?” The four brothers stopped talking and started listening to them. She threw them what she hoped was a dazzling smile.

“I’m Nicole. I’m here as collateral for Nole Fletcher.” She thought she’d get that out of the way early so they knew that she wasn’t a new club slut, word would spread. Men could gossip just as much as women. “What’s your name?” He didn’t have a cut to read. He must be a prospect.

“Cobra.” She should have guessed.

She turned to the brothers. Cobra introduced them. “This is Hollywood, Bones, Digger and King.”

She did a small wave. They were all hotties in that ‘throw you down and show you who’s boss’ kind of way. Bones, Digger and King were different shades of blond and all burly. Hollywood was gorgeous. He had midnight colour skin, was ripped to the back teeth, golden brown eyes and a perfect smile that made her melt just a tiny bit.

“Can I get any of you something?” She started feeling awkward just standing there staring, not doing anything.

“Sure doll, I’ll have another Jack with ice.” Pouring a healthy measure she slid it along the bar to Hollywood. “Another beer for us.” Came from Digger. Popping the tops she handed them the beers.

Hollywood moved closer to where she stood. “They’re some fucking beautiful eyes you’ve got.” Approving grunts came from the other three. “What did you do before you came here?”

“Nothing much. Just agency work really. Odd jobs here and there. Can’t hold anything permanent when this keeps happening.” She knew it was best to be straight and honest. Bikers don’t respond well to bullshit and inconsequential blabber.

“Sorry to hear that, doll. Your daddy’s a crook, pure and simple, and a shit one at that but he has his uses occasionally. Spreading that shit to his kid just proves what a fuck up he is. Gotta cut ties.” If she had a dollar for every time she’d heard that she could pay off her Dad’s debts for him.

She kept talking to them for a while as she served others who came to the bar. It was easy and enjoyable. They kept her entertained. She found out that Hollywood had an old lady and that Bones, Digger and King were all single and called the Musketeers.

“They are gonna be three lucky ladies who bag you guys.” They eyed each other and looked amused by something.

“Don’t want three, just one would suit us.” King spoke up. Nicole couldn’t help her mouth dropping open in shock. Was he saying what she thought he was?
