Beckann
(bek-kan). Wife of the Draden elf clan leader Dekeen and a powerful wizard.

Becknor
(beck-nor). Rider of the archdragon, Michenth, lord of the metallic dragons; he is the senior dragonrider in all of the Alliance, carrying the rank of senior general, and is the wielder of the most powerful dragonstone-powered sword in all the world.

Befran
(beh-fran). Founding Council Member and founder of Keystone Weir, key architect of the Alliance treaties between the elves, dwarves, and human kingdoms to form the Alliance as well as the Articles of the Alliance.

Bilenton
(bill-en-ton). Former premier of the Alliance and high-ranking member of the Enlightened movement.

Bkert
(bee-kurt). Atlean weirleader and rider of the bronze dragon Rapierth, former schoolmate and friend of Mkel. He wields a powerful dragonstone lance.

Bristurm
(bry-sterm). Rider of the bronze dragon Tridenth and Denar Weirleader. A strong, dedicated fighter and proficient monk, wielder of a dragonstone-powered ax and resolute friend to Mkel.

Canjon
(can-john). Rider of the brass dragon Amerenth and formal Alliance dragon ambassador. He is a friend to Mkel and a wily negotiator.

Cheyneck
(shay-neck). Pro-Alliance senator from the mountain region between Ice Bay and Ferranor Weirs and Provinces.

Craigor
(kray-gor). The commanding general of the combined Keystone, High Mountain, and Eladran Legions.

Crystinj
(kryst-inj). Rider of the brass dragon Kearideth in Draden Weir and shooting pupil of Mkel.

Dackner
(dak-ner). Young hippogriff rider from Battle Point Legion, rider of the hippogriff Bracks.

Daddonan
(da-dough-nun). Commanding general of the reinforced legion at Battle Point.

Dalmach
(dal-muck). Emir of Ariana, a self-centered, egotistical man whose only desire is to transform the world to the Kallysh faith, a master of lying and provocation.

Dansar
(dan-saar). Hippogriff battalion commander at Battle Point, with the rank of colonel.

Debesa
(de-beh-sah). Civilian aide to Captain Hornbrag in overseeing the weir’s resupply transactions and wife to Sergeant Tarbelav.

Decray
(dee-kray). Leader of the strike ranger company at Battle Point legion; he wields the dragonstone long sword called Palador, the anvil of light.

Dejent
(de-jent). Pro-Alliance senator from Eladran Province and fierce supporter of the republic and the weirs.

Dekeen
(deh-keen). Leader of the elf clan of Draden Forest, friend to Mkel, and wielder of the powerful magical longbow Elm.

Deless
(dee-less). Elf ranger/wizard and second in command of the ranger platoon under Lieutenant Lupek.

Delker
(dell-ker). A paladin and rider of the silver dragon Lionoth of the Capital Weir Wing and wielder of a powerful holy sword.

Denaris
(dee-nawr-is). Elf king, who resides in the largest elven kingdom in Allghen Forest.

Dkert
(dee-curt). Talinor Weir leader and rider of the copper dragon Selenth, former schoolmate to Mkel; he wields a dragonstone pick/mace weapon.

Dodem
(dough-dem). The Draden Weir’s barber.

Donhan
(don-han). Squadron hippogriff leader in the Alliance aerial legion, with the rank of senior lieutenant.

Dorin
(door-inn). Brother to Ordin, he oversees the mining operations in the bowels of Keystone, wields a pure mithril bladed battleaxe.

Dreadleg
(dred-leg). A death knight overlord of an eastern province in the Morgathian Empire and wielder of a vampire blade.

Dreadstone
(dred-ston). A very powerful and evil Talon sorcerer of the northwestern province and Talon Council member, wields a dark crystal halberd staff.

Drekar
(dray-car). Dwarf high king, resides in the dwarf capital city of Minara in the Ferranor Mountains, wields a dragonstone-powered ax/hammer weapon, made of pure mithril; its dragonstone is a large diamond given by Michenth.

Dunn
(dun). Colonel in charge of Draden Weir’s Support Corps Company.

Eladra
(ee-lad-ra). Elven queen and very powerful wizard, she resides in the Allghen Forest elf nation.

Eldir
(el-deer). Dekeen’s best elf weapons smith, aids in the creation of all dragonstone weapons.

Fellaxe
(fell-ax). A death knight and second in charge of Ashram’s army.

Fogellem
(foe-gell-um). The Draden Weir assigned arbitrator and former heavy infantryman.

Frankrest
(frank-rest). Commanding general of the Alliance Army.

Gemorg
(ge-moorg). Venerable but deadly shooter from the Thirty-Sixth Legion, who joins Draden Weir in Mkel’s sharpshooter squad.

Gimbelon
(gim-bell-un). A soldier in the Draden Weir garrison infantry company and excellent spearman.

Golefad
(goll-fad). Thunder giant senior noble or king.

Golfine
(gul-feen). Denar Province Enlightened Party senator.

Gresson
(gress-un). Rider of the silver dragon Draconth of the Capital Wing and one-time instructor to Mkel and Lupek.

Grey
(gray). Commander of one of the cavalry mounted legions of the Alliance with the rank of colonel.

Grommel
(grom-el). Rider of the bronze dragon Zalenth and Weirleader of Rem Weir. He oversees the legions from both Rom and Rem Weirs because of his experience and his former status as a colonel.

Guilored
(gill-or-red). Mayor of the city of Draden.

Gustoug
(gus-tog). Senior platoon sergeant of the 3

platoon of the garrison’s infantry company.

Haldrin
(hull-drin). Elven baron in charge of the clans in Lucian Forest.

Hardren
(har-dren). Rider of the bronze dragon Scimenth and weir-leader of Ferranor Weir; he wields a dragonstone-powered javelin.

Harfrac
(har-frak). Sorcerer apprentice to Stalenjh.

Hartsean
(heart-shawn). Second senior sergeant to Gemorg of the Draden Weir sharpshooter section.

Heathiret
(hee-thrut). Rider of the copper dragon Caraeyeth and wingman to Mkel and Gallanth at Draden Weir; she is a fierce warrior and excellent battle analyst.

Hestal
(hes-tull). The apex wizard of the Wizards’ Council and likely the most powerful wizard in the Alliance, he resides at the Capital Weir and is the direct confidant of Michenth and Becknor.

Hilrodra
(hill-rod-dra). Outspoken Enlightened senator from Atlean, who vehemently opposes the Alliance military and the metallic dragons.

Hornbrag
(horn-brag). The money tracker for Keystone Weir and friend to Mkel, he manages all the weir’s financial transactions both in payment for the supplies and the sale of the heating and cooling crystals that Gallanth and Silvanth create.

Howrek
(how-wreck). Platoon leader in the weir garrison infantry company with the rank of lieutenant.

Ibliss
(ib-liss). Radical and fanatical cleric king of the desert kingdom of Shidan.

Janta
(jan-ta). Mkel and Annan’s female halfling servant/helper.

Jeffron
(jeff-ron). Founding Council Member, third premier, and renowned philosopher as well as the author of the Articles of the Alliance.

Jennar
(jenn-ahr). The beautiful nymph that inhabits Draden Forest and former lover to Mkel.

Jern
(jern). Stable master and head butcher for Keystone Weir.

Jmes
(jay-mez). Father to Mkel and former rider of Gallanth.

Jodem
(jo-dem). Senior wizard and co-second in command of Draden Weir, member of the Wizard Council of Thirteen and close friend and mentor to Mkel.

Jondam
(jon-dam). Founding Council Member and second premier of the Alliance.

Jontzim
(jon-zim). Rider of the silver dragon Aventh of the Capital Weir; they are wingmates to Gallanth’s brother Falcanth of the Capital Weir. He served with Mkel’s father, Jmes, during the Great War.

Kalger
(kal-gur). Senior wizard for High Mountain Weir and member of the Wizards’ Council.

Karnak
(kar-nak). Talon sorcerer and overlord of the southern Morgathian province, Talon Covenant member.

Katsleez
(kat-sleez). Enlightened senator from the eastern portion of the city of Draden and former navy admiral before he was demoted and forced to retire.

Keisem
(ky-zem). Rider of the bronze dragon Licanth and weirleader of Rom Weir; he is a friend to Mkel and wielder of a dragonstone-powered crossbow.

Kerlaw
(ker-law). Lawrent’s raider first mate and second in command of his Freiland raiders.

Kerneg
(kern-neg). Weir field master, cook/mess chief.

Kushien
(kush-y-en). Outspoken Enlightened senator from the High Mountain Province.

Lawrent
(law-rent). Raider leader and Freiland ambassador to Draden Weir. He commands a small squadron of fast-strike ships and a company of berserkers. A friend of Mkel, he and his raiders are a powerful ally of Draden Weir. He wields a dragonstone frost sword.

Lenor
(la-noor). Leader of the heavy cavalry platoon of Draden Weir and a powerful paladin. He wields a dragonstone holy sword and is a senior platoon sergeant.

Lloydell
(loy-dell). Rider of the gold dragon Falcanth (Gallanth’s brother) of the Capital Wing; he fought beside Jmes during the Great Dragon War.

Lodar
(lo-dar). Morgathian warlord and powerful death knight, he is second in command of Ashram’s province and army in the northwest region of the Morgathia Empire.

Lordan
(lor-dan). Rider of the silver dragon Talonth and Weirleader of Eladran Weir, he is a former cavalryman and also commands the mounted legion at Eladran. He wields a mighty dragonstone-powered spear/lance.

Lupek
(lu-pek). Ranger platoon leader and high-level ranger of Draden Weir, very close friend to Mkel and wielder of a dragonstone-powered lightning javelin. He mounts the powerful griffon Razorclaw and has the rank senior lieutenant.

Macdolan
(mak-dol-un). Senior platoon sergeant of the first platoon of Draden Weir’s garrison infantry company.

Machuen
(ma-q-en). Young messenger boy for Draden Weir.

Magallan
(ma-gull-un). Infantry battalion commander at Battle Point with the rank of colonel.

Marlok
(mar-lock). Intelligent but cruel Talon sorcerer and overlord of the southwestern province of the Morgathian Empire, member of the Talon Council.

Masheam
(ma-shay-em). Lowly but ambitious Enlightened senator from Ice Bay.

Masone
(ma-sohn). Mkel’s personal liaison.

Mkel
(m-kell). Rider of the gold dragon Gallanth and Draden Weirleader, he wields two dragonstone weapons, the crossbow Markthrea and the mithril sword Kershan.

Molotoc
(mul-ah-tok). Fierce Morgathian general under the Talon sorcerer Marlok.

Murjath
(mur-jath). Enlightened senator from the area just west of Draden.

Nebelon
(neh-bell-un). Enlightened senator from the southern portion of the Talinor Province.

Nozok
(nah-zock). Talon sorcerer from the south-central province, he is a Talon Covenant sorcerer and very much aligned with Prefect Stalenjh.

Ordin
(or-din). Clan leader of the dwarf clan that resides in Keystone Weir, Weir council member, and wielder of Donnac, a dragonstone-powered war hammer.

Orhanch
(or-hanch). Pro-dragon senator from the Talinor Province.

Padonan
(pa-do-nun). Rider of the Capital Wing silver dragon Strikenth and longtime friend to Mkel, wielder of a dragonstone-powered glaive weapon. He holds the rank of senior lieutenant.

Paloud
(pa-laud). Infantry platoon leader in the weir garrison, he holds the rank of senior lieutenant with paladin training.

Penseun
(penn-shawn). Enlightened Party playwright.

Philjen
(fill-jen). The female half dwarf, half human matron of Draden Weir’s tavern.

Pikelar
(pyk-lar). Rider of the silver dragon Sabrenth of the Capital Weir Wing and wingman of Eagrenth, he is a very talented wizard and wields a unique short curved dragonstone staff that also conceals a pure mithril saber for close in-fighting.

Ponsellan
(pahn-sell-un). Self-serving battalion commander in the Battle Point Legion, he holds the rank of colonel.

Poteignr
(pot-ay-jer). Crossbow soldier of the Draden Weir garrison.

Proctern
(proc-tern). Young platoon leader of the weir garrison infantry company, he holds the rank of lieutenant.

Ragnarg
(rag-narg). Freiland ambassador to the Alliance.

Rainebard
(rain-bard). Young wizard apprentice to Lawrent and his raiders.

(ray-tod). Crossbowman of the sharpshooter section of Draden Weir.

(ray-gresh). Current premier of the Alliance Republic.

(red-it). Cavalry battalion commander at Battle Point, he holds the rank of colonel.

Reigngrim
(rain-grim). Dreadstone’s overlord death knight, matches his master’s cruelty and wields a dark-crystal-powered vampire sword.
