DIXIE'S CARAWAY-SEED CAKE

2 sticks margarine

3 cups sugar

1 stick butter

6 eggs

3 cups plain flour

½ tsp baking powder

1/8 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1 tbsp vanilla

2 tbsps caraway seeds

 

Cream the margarine, butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then stir together the flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla, then caraway seeds. Spoon mixture into greased Bundt pan. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until done.
