Ivan Vladislavić
is the author of the highly praised novel
The Restless Supermarket
(2001) as well as award-winning non-fiction,
Portrait with Keys
(2006), which was shortlisted for the Ondaatje Prize and won the Alan Paton Award. Originally part of a collaborative project with photographer David Goldblatt,
Double Negative
was shortlisted for the South African
Sunday Times
Fiction Prize 2011 and won the University of Johannesburg Creative Writing Prize 2010/11. Vladislavić currently lives in Johannesburg.

Born in the US in 1975 and brought up in Nigeria,
