MUST READ - Exciting new cookbook series - Mama's Legacy - 7 Volumes.*

**Volume I: DINNER - 27 Easy Recipes - The perfect place to start!**

**REVIEW:**
***The author doesn't let us down on this book. I've come across many ebook cookbooks that appear like word documents. This one is not the case. There are pictures, there's nutritional information complete with how many servings there are and the size of the servings. The recipes look absolutely delicious. There are recipe tips that make me feel that the author really stands behind what they have written.*** by J'Andra.

This first volume includes some of my personal favorites among the hundreds of recipes that I have collected over the years. Even though I was married for the first 20 years of my children's lives, I always had to work - so there was never a lot of extra time for cooking.  As a result, I was always on the lookout for recipes that were easy to prepare in the shortest amount of time possible and at a cost that would allow me to stay within my budget.

I have other recipes that are more complicated, but I wanted to begin with the easier family favorites that met the above criteria. Most of the recipes in this volume range from very easy to easy, with only a few that are slightly more difficult.

Try them all! To start I recommend some of the quick and easy ones: **Balsamic Pork Chops, Carne Asada, Linguini with Clam Sauce, Baked Mac and Cheese Casserole.**

Find the ones you love to prepare and the ones your family enjoys the most. Enjoy this new cooking adventure!

MAMA’S LEGACY COOKBOOK SERIES

IS DEDICATED
TO

My four amazing children, Whitney, Brooke, Bryce, and Brock … and their father, Buzz,
who were willing to at least try everything that I prepared – experiments, and all.
They were more than a few times that we tossed the dinner in the trash and opted for our family default dinner, pancakes and scrambled eggs.
It is also dedicated to my dear mother-in-law, Charlotte
.
She introduced me to the wonderful world of
food
.
It was because of her encouragement that I was able to develop the confidence to test my cooking wings!

WELCOME
Dear Friends
,
Welcome to
DINNER
, Volume
I
of
Mama’s Legacy
Cookbook Series.

This series was created in honor of all the wonderful women in my life who not only taught me
how
to cook, but also shared with me their
love of cooking.

I have been collecting recipes for over 60 years - the sources are numerous – beginning with my mother, then friends, professional colleagues, and church groups.

Some are in the original form – copied exactly from the paper on which they were originally written. The origins include old cookbooks going back to my early married years, recipes found in product packaging, and magazines that I have kept in a box in my pantry for eons.

Some have morphed a little over the years and some are newer versions of long-held recipes that have been passed from friend to friend to friend.

Writing a cookbook has been a long-held dream of mine. I have a great passion for well-prepared, delicious food, and hopefully this series will inspire you to stretch your creative cooking wings and begin to build your own collection of recipes that can be shared with others.

DINNER
is the first volume in the series. The 27 dinner recipes I have included are a small representation of dinners that allowed me to feed my children well, a minor obsession of mine. Even though I was married for the first 20 years of my children’s lives, I always had to work – so there wasn’t a lot of extra money or time for gourmet cooking. I needed recipes that could be prepared in a reasonable amount of time – and stay within a tight budget. These recipes met those criteria.

I love to cook and have other recipes that are more complicated, but thought that I would begin with the easier family favorites. Most of the recipes in this volume range from very easy to easy, with only a couple that are slightly more difficult.

A good friend of mine once said to me that there are three great pleasures in life:  Laughter - Great Food - Making Love…. I agreed when he said it, and I still agree all these many years later.

What are your three greatest pleasures? I hope that food is one of them and that you will find great pleasure in creating the dishes in this book as much as I found in writing them.

All the best,

Nancy N Wilson

P. S.  I would love to hear about your cooking adventures. Please feel free to send me stories. Your personal favorite recipes are also welcome, if you feel like sharing. If I decide to use them in a future cookbook, you will be given credit.
