He groaned, pressing harder against her, until his balls nudged the crease of where her legs met. “I love how responsive you are to me, wildflower. I can feel your cum lubing me up.” His hardened length slid against her slickened labia.

Oh no. She froze. Was he lubricating himself, so he could have anal sex with her? She may be virginal there, but she wasn’t naïve as to how the process worked.

“What are you afraid of, Mya?”

Hell on fire. He read her too well. His thumb ran along the crack of her ass and she swallowed the anxiety back as he parted her cheeks. The tips of his thumbs brushed against her back entrance and he lightly massaged the puckered skin, sending warm pleasure through her body.

“Is this what you fear?” His voice lowered an octave.

She couldn’t respond, afraid to tell the truth because she certainly couldn’t lie or even attempt to spin an untruth right now. If she told him yes, he might push her further and actually take her back there. She wasn’t ready to for the deeper level of intimacy with him, especially if he was cutting her lose.

“Tell me, Mya. Remember no secrets between us, wildflower. Especially, when you submit yourself to me. This right now, is just about you and me.” His thumbs circled around her rim.

“Yes,” she breathed out in a whisper, dropping her head.

“You have nothing to be afraid of when I touch you, beautiful. I will never push you further than I think you can handle. Do you understand me?” He moved a finger down to her sex, fingering her in quick and vigorous bursts.

Finally, she relaxed underneath him, the tension fleeing her muscles. She closed her eyes and surrendered to the titillating flares shooting through her body—craving more, needing more on the edge of an orgasm teasing her further.

“That’s right, baby,” he encouraged her, while moving the tip of his now wet finger back to the rim of her rear entrance. “Spread your legs for me, so I can feel that sweet pussy of mine.”

His words sent a heated desire down to her core and she moved her feet apart, giving him easier access. The tip of his head breeched her sex and he thrust in all the way, burying his thick shaft to the hilt. Mya moaned, her hips tilted up on their own accord and she savored the fullness of him deep inside of her.

Cole left his wet finger pressed against the rim of her back opening and he leaned over her, brushing the hair away from her face. He planted his other palm on the bed, supporting his weight off of her. “Look at me, baby.”

Every time he called her baby, the emotion he used behind the term, slayed her a little more on the inside. She turned her head and met his blue eyes. They were so blue, a crystal clear ocean, and she got lost in the sea of Cole.

Sweet mercy.

He moved inside of her, slowly thrusting in and out, never removing the pressure of his touch on her rear entrance. “Stay focused on me, wildflower.”

He pressed his finger inside the rim and panic seized her.

“Shhh. Feel, don’t let the fear take you.”

Easier said than done. It felt uncomfortable, unnatural and mildly painful at best.

His gaze dropped to her lips and he kissed the corner of her mouth with affection.

Mya angled her head further around, so she could kiss him back. His tongue slipped in between her lips and he caressed her tongue with his. The position was awkward, but once she got used to it, the tender kiss became easier turning into a burning passion.

He groaned into her mouth, sliding his shaft in and out of her, and probing her nether region with his finger—slow provocative thrusts in and out—fueling her lust for him.

The double penetration was a heady intoxication. Every nerve ending below was alive, stirring with a sensual arousal. His soft kisses reminded her, he would take care of her, he would make sure this was all about pleasure and a sense of devotion spread through her. Any fear or concern she held on to dissipated and she let go to—feel, to enjoy how he controlled her body, taking her to new fevered heights he drove her to. Heat flushed down her core and the soft tickle of an orgasm teased her as he made love to her, kissing her, worshipping her with this finger.

“Damn, wildflower, I didn’t think your pussy could get any wetter for me.” He moaned against her lips. “Who do you belong to?”

“You,” she breathed to his mouth.

“Everywhere that I’m inside of you right now, belongs to me.” His tongue slid between her lips and he captured her mouth with a desperate kiss.

She returned the kiss with the same urgency, stroking his tongue, caressing his lips.

Cole penetrated her harder. The tip of his shaft and finger stimulated every erogenous zone. He teased her mercilessly, sometimes slow, sometimes a little faster, increasing the pressure, but never once taking his lips off of hers.

Every time she got close to an orgasm he backed off and let the intensity die down a bit. The double penetration killed her with a maddening rush of bliss. “Cole,” she pleaded, “I can’t take it anymore. Please let me come.” Mya couldn’t stand the teasing any longer.

“I can’t.” He nipped at the corner of her lip.

He can’t?
Of course he could, that was a flat out lie. Unless he meant it in another context? He called her baby. He made love to her, tenderly, softly, but still with utter control over her. So, why couldn’t he let her come? Unless—he didn’t want to?

The truth came crashing down on her. Her neck strained as thickness welled up in her throat. He couldn’t let her come because the moment they finished and he would be out of her— their connection would be severed.

He was saying goodbye.

Pressure behind her eyes welled as moisture seeped into view. How much longer could she endure this tortuous pleasure? Her gut clenched. Now knowing, he drew this out before they separated for good, suffocated her. Unable to take a breath, her lungs wouldn’t work. A tear traced down her cheek.

Concern flashed over his expression. “Shhh, baby. Stay with me, right here, right now.” He pressed a kiss to the cheek he had access to as he slid his finger and shaft in and out of her slowly. “Don’t think about the future. Only us. This very moment.”

He planned to leave her.

The dread of what would become of them tomorrow became too much to bear. Her eyes squeezed shut. He was all around her, inside of her—everywhere—even the air she breathed in, making the ache hurt much worse. “Please, Cole. I can’t—I need you to finish.” She didn’t stop the tears from flowing as pieces of her heart cracked and shattered on the inside.

“Look at me.” He froze all movement.

Mya opened her eyes and met his worried gaze.

“We’ll finish right now, but I want you to stay in the moment with me. I need you to experience this without any other thoughts—just us.”

Mya nodded and nibbled on her lower lip, right before his mouth descended on hers, giving her a punishing kiss—demanding surrender. She couldn’t help but feel the arduous waves of energy flowing through him. But damn it, if this was so hard for him, why did he have to give her up?

He thrust inside of her from behind harder, thrusting his finger in sync with his shaft, caressing her tongue with his—unravelling her in the most intoxicating ways. She whimpered as the urgent need inside of her built, higher, intense, potent and she couldn’t hold back. The tingling sensation started in her thighs. A fiery eruption gripped her core rippling in waves through her whole body. She shuddered through the convulsions underneath him, sweeping her to a pure unadulterated euphoria.

He captured her moans with this mouth, pumping inside of her with urgency as his shaft jerked inside of her, shooting his seed up into her.

She writhed against him, riding the bursts of pleasure—where they were joined together.

Sated and panting, they both gasped for air and he relaxed his weight on her a bit. They stayed in the position, for moments, minutes, until his shaft became placid inside of her. Did either of them want to separate?

Twisted fear wrenched her gut.
This is the end.

He removed his finger from behind and slowly stood up until he slipped out of her.

She closed her eyes, clenching her jaw.

It was over.

Gavin paced back and forth in the tech’s office at the Seelie Court, while the head systems and network manager, Nick, typed away at his computer. For a week, Mya had vanished with no trace of where she went.

That bastard Cole took Mya and there was no telling what the idiot would do to her. The fucking Unseelie asshole planned this all along. It’s the only way to explain her disappearing act with no tracks to follow.

Gavin went after Cole once and by damn, he’d do it again if the filthy asshole hurt Mya in any shape or form.

Every morning since Mya’s abduction, Gavin came to the Court, waiting for their data technician to hack into all kinds of different systems, cameras, and video feeds—pulling more records on each member of the Unseelie Court. Then Gavin spent the rest of the day following those leads and investigating each person on his list, but he’d found nada today and every day before. Though it was nighttime, he couldn’t halt his search. He had to get Mya back and soon. In the hands of the wrong people, the results could be devastating. They could kill her and time became his enemy.

It’s why he burned her house down—she would have nowhere else to turn, but to him. Sure, they were friends and yeah, he had feelings for her, but he also knew she wouldn’t come to him willingly. Sure, his plan might’ve sounded ass backwards, but Mya needed to be pushed a little bit and encouraged to leave, so she would stay safe.

She had no clue what the Seelies were planning on doing to her, how they were going to expose her and blame the Seelie murders on her. So in truth, he was only protecting her. Once she came to him, he could take her away, help bring her to her full power and then nobody would hurt her…and he’d be by her side the whole time.

The door to the office opened and Michaela slipped inside. He stopped pacing and crossed his arms over his chest.

Her fake, bright white smile lit up. “There you are. Seriously, are you going to do this every day?”

Great. He’d have a go with Michaela today…again, like every other day this week. “Five hundred K is a lot of money to sweep under the carpet.” He didn’t need the reward at all, but used it as a ruse for motivation to find Mya.

“Why do you care so much?” Michaela cocked a hip to the side and fluffed her white blonde hair behind her shoulder. “Mya’s head isn’t worth that much.”

The stupid girl had no idea how important Mya was—and her own fucking mother was a Seelie Elder. Maybe she should stop caring about herself so much and open her eyes to the world around her.

Gavin steeled his emotions though, he needed Michaela’s aid in his mission and he would use any means possible to find Mya. Using Michaela already paid off in more rewarding ways than one. “Come here.” He jerked his head to the side, encouraging her closer.

She practically bounded across the room to him. As she got closer, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her up against him. He tipped her chin up to hold her gaze. “Are you jealous, sugar?”

Fire lit her eyes and she firmed her lips into a straight line. “Why would I ever be jealous of Mya? Besides, you said you don’t like her in that way.”

Right. The damned Aos sí
were so used to spinning untruths to get their way, they failed to see when somebody else spun an untruth on them. Their brains were so constantly in motion to get what they wanted they couldn’t see the actual truth.
Wanna talk about some narcissistic bitches? Well, there you go.

He brought his face down a little closer to hers and stopped himself from gagging on the awful perfume she drenched herself in. “So, why does it bother you if I’m trying to capture Mya?”

“Oh, it doesn’t bother me one little bit. I know it’s me, you really want.”

The confident attitude in her tone grated on his nerves.

“Because I’ve been blessed.”

Yeah, blessed with entirely too much conceit.

Nick interrupted them, “I think we got a hit.” His hands ruffled through his dark curly hair, before he started typing away on the keyboard.

“What’d you find?” Gavin let go of Michaela and walked around the desk behind Nick. He stared at the video feed on the screen, making out the vehicles in the dark. They approached a tall limestone wall, stopping at a large iron gate.

Nick tapped the screen in the middle. “A completely blacked out Mercedes arriving at the Unseelie Compound on the outskirts of Austin.”

“So.” Gavin shrugged. “It could be anybody, an Elder perhaps.”

“No.” Nick pushed his hipster glasses up along the bridge of his nose. “They have guards all around the premises. More than usual.” He pointed to figures standing in the shadows. Only the gleam of their guns from the moonlight gave them away. “The Mercedes is flanked by SUV’s in the front and back.”

Michaela came and stood next to Gavin, squeezing his bicep. “I knew she was a traitor. Even before I saw the Unseelie leave her house that night.”

The fuck you say?
Realization hit him like a Mack Truck. Gavin turned on her. “
You
were the one who snapped that photo?”
