“Are you paying attention?” Sagura Sashi, the headquarters chief asked him.

“Yes, what were you saying?”

“We were discussing what we were going to do with the Ayase territory.”

With Eriko and Kiriya Shina behind bars, and Chieko Ayase in mourning for her late husband, Tomio had paid the widow a generous amount of money for the appropriation of the Ayase Headquarters and the rest of the buildings. “A bakery might be nice. Also, maybe a couple of office buildings, and maybe a daycare center.” The rest of the guys in the room looked at him oddly. “What? Any of you guys have any better ideas?”

“A restaurant and a floral shop might be nice,” Akira said.

“You guys are really serious about going legit, aren’t you?” Yomei Umi asked.

As the oldest man in the room, Tomio valued the senior advisor’s opinion. “Yes.” He didn’t know how many bullet wounds his body could take, and he had Nori to think about now. The thing with Ren Ayase might be over, but Tomio wasn’t a fool. There would be some other small-time boss thinking to take over his territory one of these days, if the police didn’t do it first.

Makoto raised his hand. Tomio acknowledged him. “Takara has expressed an interest in opening a clothing store. Since working with Rika Fukushima for the last few months, she thinks she might like to go into business for herself.”

Tomio scowled at him. “She would do anything to get out of that house with Haruka.”

Makoto nodded. Since Gina and Eiji had moved back to their home, Haruka had stepped up her game and she was running the Nakamura mansion with an iron fist. “I’ll think about it.” The women of the Nakamura group never worked outside the home before Takara. If he put Ebony over running the bakery, he supposed he could put Takara over a clothing store. The worst that could happen would be that she made a success of the place. Tomio looked at his watch. “Is there any more business for today?”

“What’s the rush?” Eiji asked.

“I have a wife and a child at home waiting for me,” Tomio answered.

“Hasn’t it been six weeks since she gave birth to him?” Makoto asked.

“Yes.”

Makoto chuckled. “Oh, now I get it. No wonder you’ve been so distracted. You’re horny.”

Eiji and the others laughed at him.

“What are you laughing for?” he asked Eiji. “Wait until Gina gives birth.” Gina was now seven months pregnant and big as a house.

“I have more patience than you,” Eiji bragged.

“We’ll see,” Tomio said. “The doctor is going to put her on bed rest soon, so add six weeks to that.”

Eiji counted the weeks on his fingers and scowled. “I think we should end this meeting now. I need to go home to my wife.”

Tomio chuckled. Gina was in for a surprise tonight.

The rest of the members stood up and pledged their alliance to Tomio. The meeting ended.

“Yeah, I love you guys too, but I have a beautiful, sexy wife waiting for me at home.”

Akira got him to the new home as quickly as possible. He had a date and wasted no time saying goodbye to Tomio.

Tomio heard singing the minute he stepped inside the house. It was Ebony, singing a lullaby to the baby. He hadn’t heard her sing since her days working at the club. She still had that sultry voice. Ebony looked up as soon as he entered the nursery. She was in the rocker trying to put the baby to sleep.

“You’re just in time for dinner,” Ebony said.

Tomio didn’t know how she did all the stuff that she did. He had finally hired a nanny who would be coming to work for them on Monday. Tomio kissed her and the baby. “I need a shower.”

“Don’t take so long,” Ebony said. “I’m starving.” She stood up and placed the baby in the crib.

Tomio walked out of the nursery and headed for their bedroom. Ebony had laid out clothes. He undressed, got into the shower, and then met her in the kitchen several minutes later. “How hungry are you really?” he asked.

“Very,” Ebony said. “Why?”

“No reason,” he said.

Ebony gazed over at him. “You’re horny, aren’t you?”

“How can you tell?” Tomio asked.

“I know that look.”

“What look?” Tomio asked backing her out of the kitchen and down the hall that led to their bedroom. He pulled his shirt off and chased her over to the bed.

Ebony pulled him down on her. “That look.” She kissed him.

“Mmm,” Tomio said. That kiss was worth every penny he’d paid the private investigator to find her. Sassy attitude and all, he loved Ebony more than life itself.

“Get me out of these clothing,” she said. “And don’t make any noise. We don’t want to wake Nori up.”

Tomio stripped her and then got out of the rest of his clothing. He put Ebony on her back, wrapped her legs around his waist, and entered her. Ebony had come several times before he realized that they weren’t using a condom. Oh well, he did want a big family.

They changed positions and Ebony mounted him. Except for a couple of stretch marks and a little puffiness around the navel, his African-American queen was back to normal. She rode him roughly. The bed bounced beneath them. Luckily, their bedroom was on the first floor or they probably would have made a big hole in the ceiling.

“Ah, ah, ah! Tomio!” Ebony called as she came.

Tomio would never grow tired of that. “Hang on, baby,” he said. “I’m coming, too.” Tomio shot inside of her. “Yeah!” he said. “That was worth the wait.”

Ebony stopped moving and looked down at him. “Tomio, I swear to God, if you’ve knocked me up again I am going to strangle you.”

“I love you too, babe.” He tickled her and Ebony giggled and rolled off of him.

“I love you more,” Ebony said.

Little Nori began the cry. Ebony attempted to get back into her clothing, but Tomio stopped her. “I’ll get him.”

Ebony burrowed herself under the covers. “Tomio?”

“What?”

“I love you.”

Tomio chuckled. His life was perfect.
