Jackson had hovered over him the entire time. The man had practically moved into Aiden's house to look after him once he had been discharged from the hospital and he hadn't left since. Aiden had had to threaten the man with no sex if he didn't walk out the door and join the rest of his team for footy practice that afternoon. He needed some time to himself, plus the idea of Jackson returning all hot and sweaty in his skimpy uniform was a definite plus in his opinion.
As much as Aiden had needed a little time to himself, he had enjoyed the close contact with Jackson over the last four weeks. Their bond had grown as they got to know one another on a deeper level. Aiden still wasn't sure if he was ready to complete the handfasting ceremony but he knew it wouldn't be long before he finally agreed. Jackson never pushed him though and he loved the man for that.
He put the finishing touches on the chicken marsala he had made. The salad was all set in the fridge and all he had to do was place the chicken dish in the oven for twenty minutes when they wanted dinner and it would be all ready for them.
Aiden cleaned his mess up. He was so looking forward to going back to work on Monday. Noah had been kind enough to keep him in the loop in regards to what had happened with Duncan and Bianca. After all the evidence had been gathered and handed over to the police, the pair had both been charged with embezzlement, theft, malicious damage, and attempted murder plus a slew of other charges. The trial date was set for another six months and Aiden wasn't looking forward to having to testify. He was thankful that both Duncan and Bianca had been denied bail because when the cops raided their apartment everything had been packed for a quick getaway. They were considered a flight risk and due to the severity of the charges were remanded behind bars.
Aiden felt like he'd been going stir crazy hanging around the house for so long. Jackson didn't want him doing anything stressful until he was completely healed. He just thanked god that didn't include Jackson keeping his hands to himself. Yes, the man had been gentler than their first encounter but at least Jackson hadn't got the stupid idea in his head that Aiden was too fragile for sex. Once Aiden had received his doctor's okay then Jackson had pounced, showing him exactly how much the other man cared for him.
Just as Aiden finished washing the last dish, he heard Jackson's car pull up outside, the crunch of the gravel under the tires recognisable after so long. He wiped down the bench and as he dried his hands, Aiden heard the front door opening.
"Honey, I'm home," Jackson called out to him.
Aiden snickered. "I'm in the kitchen, dear."
"Ahh, just how I like you," Jackson murmured as he made his way inside and up to Aiden, taking the man in his arms. "I have you barefoot, now if only you could get pregnant."
Aiden laughed. "Yeah, right, like that's going to happen anytime soon." He smiled up at the man that had come to hold his heart. "You're all sweaty," he mock complained.
"You love it and you know it."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Aiden replied with a straight face.
"Of course you don't," Jackson said before covering Aiden's mouth with his own. Aiden groaned into the kiss and let his body relax against his mate's.
"Love you," Aiden whispered against Jackson's oh-so-tempting mouth.
"Love you, too," Jackson said breathlessly before he reached down and placed his hands on Aiden's butt cheeks and lifted him up. Aiden wrapped his legs around Jackson's waist and held on. "Come on, Addy, let's go see if we can make a baby," Jackson said before his mouth descended again and he slowly started to manoeuvre them in the direction of the bedroom.
Aiden laughed and nodded. After all, practice makes perfect.

Toni Griffin's
Liam, Atherton Pack 1
is a delightful follow up to the
Holland Brothers
series and well worth the read…
Ms. Griffin
does a wonderful job of easing into the new series as she uses references to the Holland Brothers and keeps the flow from one series to the next. I enjoyed the easy banter she wrote between Liam and his fellow pack mates and the care they all felt for each other. I look forward to reading many more installments of the Atherton Pack and the newly mated couples, with a few surprises to follow. Another well-developed series, that will keep me interested for many books to come.

My Christmas Present
This is a romantic, sweet, and very sexy story about a younger man who has been in love with his father's best friend for nine years. Now that he's finished with university, he is no longer willing to take no for an answer and goes to get his man. They both have help from the most unexpected person of all and, boy, do the sparks fly!
If you like hot and sexy stories, reading about men working on a ranch in Australia (with all the cowboy-ness that entails) and enjoy the main characters having to overcome some (minor) obstacles before they can admit they love each other, you will probably like this story as much as I did.

Dealing with the Dead
"Toni Griffin starts a new series, The Thomson Agency, with Dealing with the Dead."
Toni Griffin's Dealing with the Dead is the first book in The Thompson Agency series. With six more brothers, we have much enjoyment to anticipate. Jayden was an amazing hero with his abilities that far surpassed what his family though. Noah was a perfect match. The reason he needed Jayden was a perfect way to bring them together. Cleverly written, with heat and surprises, Dealing with the Dead by Toni Griffin will quickly become a readers' favorite with all of us anxiously awaiting the next story.

Wow. Toni Griffin has created a new series that is unique and extremely interesting. I love when we find a new series and we can discover a new world within the pages of a book. this world that we are introduced to is just like yours or mine, but it has the added wonder of Necromancers, Shifters, Witches, Vampires and Fey (although we only meet necromancers in this one). We are given detailed information about what a necromancer does (so no zombies floating about) and the mating details as well.
I loved that necromancers are shown in a very favorable light, and that the paranormals don't seem to be shunned, but seemed to be embraced by society. a refreshing change from having to hide or being hunted. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series, so I can get to know the brothers better.
I recommend this to those who love the paranormal, alternative worlds, necromancers, hot men, a great storyline, hot sex and a very, very happy ending. This is a very easy story to read and you can just relax and enjoy so give it a go.
