He ran his tongue along her wet pussy then used the tip of his tongue to tease her clit minutes before Amara’s orgasm hit her. Grabbing her thighs, Dante held her legs still as he teased and tasted her; however, this still wasn’t enough for him. He had to be inside of her now...the waiting was over.
Dante got off the couch and extracted a condom out of his sweat pants before removing them. He kicked them away and then quickly rolled it down his cock. Sitting back down, he reached for Amara and positioned her over his erection.
“Do you want me?” he asked, easing the tip of his dick into her pussy.
“Yes,” she moaned, looking directly in his eyes.
Grinding his teeth, Dante closed his eyes and growled as Amara took him. Once he was fully inside of her he opened his eyes and held her hips as he just got lost in the pure
satisfaction
of being inside of his woman.
Nothing felt better than being like this.
He
loved
Amara...literally loved her more than his own heartbeat. He’d never cared about anyone ever the way he did about her. He tried to act like he didn’t see it, but it was right in front of his face. Everything he did and said was because he wanted to be the man she needed. He would replace everyone else who might have failed her or caused her any kind of doubt.
Slowly, Dante opened his eyes watching as Amara tossed her head back and arched her back so her swollen nipples were in his face. He drew the delicious treat inside his mouth laving it before moving over to the other one.
“Ohhh...that feels so good,” she purred writhing against him.
“I can knock it up another notch,” Dante promise. “I’m better than good.”
He held on to her tighter and worked her up and down his throbbing cock. The sight of his erection disappearing in and out of her tight pussy was so beautiful that he almost lost it then and there.
“Look at me,” Dante demanded.
Amara’s eyes snapped open at the sound of his voice. “I want you looking at me the entire time. Anytime we’re together making love, I want your eyes staring into mine.”
She gazed into his eyes and the need, desire and emotions shining there spurred him into thrusting deeper and deeper until Amara’s orgasm shot through her as her screams echoed through the room.
Hearing her pleasure, he pumped a few more times and seconds later Dante growled as his release took over making his head drop against the crook of Amara’s neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist holding her drenched body against his equally sweaty one.
Tonight sealed the deal for him as he listened to Amara’s soft breathing as she slowly fell to sleep in his arms. He was done being a serial dater. She would always be the only woman that he would ever require or wish for wrapped up in his arms for the rest of his life.
It was official! Dante Braden was off the market and what stunned him the most was he couldn’t be happier about it. Why should he be looking for anyone else when he’d found everything he wanted poured into a sexy package of spunk and fire?
Turning his head, he brushed a piece of Amara’s hair off her face and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She finally showed him what love was about.
Neither one of them was perfect alone, but together they made the perfect couple. She was everything he desired.
Tomorrow night’s big event was going to get overshadowed by him introducing Amara as his girlfriend at the bar and hopefully sooner or later she would be much more.
Chapter Thirty-Eight
The sound of the pool balls being knocked around on the tables filled the room as Dante walked through the crowd with Amara close at his side. Tonight was the night; he was finally going to introduce her to his friends. He could tell she was still a little nervous from the way she was gripping his hand, but everything was going to go just fine.
He hated taking her out of the little private world they had been living in, but he couldn’t keep her to himself any longer. It was time for them to venture out and get to know the people he cared about as much as her. Why shouldn’t he start with the people he considered like a second family to him?
“Have I told you how proud of you I am?” he whispered in Amara’s ear as they stopped at the edge of the bar.
Reaching up, she ran her hand across his five o’clock shadow. He was going to shave it before they left his house but she talked him into keeping it. He had fallen faster for her than he thought possible, but he wasn’t trying to fight it anymore. Besides, Amara had already told him that she loved him so he knew where her feelings stood for him.
“What are you so proud of?” she asked, removing her hand from his face. “Was it how I came here with you tonight without putting up a fight?”
“That’s part of it, but I’m so proud of you for blowing them away at your interview this morning and getting hired on the spot. I knew you could do it, sweetheart.”
“I couldn’t believe it and I have you to thank for it,” she said.
Nervousness quickly set in that Amara might know his secret and this was how she was going to tell him, but he got rid of that thought as quickly as it came. Pastor Allen wouldn’t have told her anything about his involvement because he wasn’t a man to break his word.
“Baby, why do you want to thank me,” he hedged. “I haven’t done anything. You did it all on your own. Now, you’ve marked one thing off your list. Before you know it, you’ll have everything back you lost before you ended up on the streets.”
“Not everything,” Amara answered. “I still need to find a regular place to stay. I’m only working three days out of the week, so I don’t see me finding a place to live on that kind of money.”
This was the opportunity he had been waiting for. He had been thinking about this since the last time he took Amara back to the shelter and it would make it perfect for the both of them. “Why don’t you move in with me?”
Leaning back away from him, Amara stared up into his face. “What? Don’t you think that will be rushing things a bit? We’ve only been dating for a little while and moving in with you is a huge step.”
“Didn’t you tell me that you love me?”
“Yes, I did...but—”
“Hell, I don’t think a relationship as good as ours should have a time frame placed on it. We’re amazing together and I know it’s only going to get better because I love you as much as you adore me,” Dante said, determined to get his way. “So, why not share living quarters? What do you say? I have a nice spot on the right side of my bed that is a perfect fit for your cute little body.”
“I think the best thing that has happened to me is you. I never thought I would feel so complete as I do anytime I’m with you, Dante,” she told him.
“Does this mean you’re going to move in with me and give Pastor Allen back his room at the shelter?” he questioned as he stared down into Amara’s eyes running his hands up and down her back.
“I couldn’t think of anything else I would rather do than move in with you,” she replied as her eyes lit up with pleasure.
“I—”
“Dante, you can’t hide from view over here at the bar all night. You need to bring Amara over to the table and introduce her to everyone else. I’m tired of answering questions about who your mystery woman is.”

Spinning around in Dante’s arms, Amara spotted Griffin almost completely behind them walking with an extremely, tall and attractive blond man she had never seen before. She swallowed down her nervousness and gave Griffin a tiny smile.
Dante wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear. “Don’t worry, you already know Griffin, and Caleb is pretty harmless. Besides, you have me right here next to you so I’ll protect you against their craziness.”
She stole a peek at Dante from the corner of her eye. “Thank you, but I can stand up for myself you know.”
“Sure, but why should you when you have me to do it for you,” he tossed back as Griffin stopped right in front of them.
“How is everything going tonight?” Dante asked Griffin as his friend glanced at her and smiled.
Taking his eyes off of her, Griffin looked at Dante then answered his question. “Everyone is having a great time and the tournament is running smoothly. Kent is doing an excellent job keeping all of the players in line.
“I never knew he used to be a professional pool player. I’m glad he told me about it and asked me if he could run it. A few big time players are already inquiring about when we’re going to have another one.
“Furthermore, the food and drinks are selling quite well. However, I didn’t come over here to talk about that. I wanted to see you Amara,” Griffin said, giving her his full attention. “I’m used to you trying to get away from us. It’s nice to see you standing here so comfortable with Dante at your side. I’m guessing the two of you finally found a way to work things out?”
Grabbing Dante’s hand, she gave it a light squeeze. “Yes, we’ve found common ground and honestly, I couldn’t be more pleased that I have Dante in my life.”
“I’m glad to hear it,” Griffin said, grinning at her. “I can see a change in him that I’ve never noticed before. The two of you are good for each other. He’s lost that hero complex he used to have all of the time.”
“Hero complex?” She frowned. “What are you talking about?”
“Baby, it’s nothing,” Dante quickly cut in glaring at Griffin.
Amara knew something was going on but it seemed like neither man was going to tell her anything, so she could get into it later when she was alone with Dante. She didn’t like the thought of him keeping secrets from her.
“Hey, since no one is going to introduce me, I guess I’ll do it myself.” Stepping in front of Griffin, Caleb extended his hand. “Hi, I’m Caleb just in case you didn’t already know. It’s nice to meet you, Amara. I’ve heard a lot about you, but it’s finally good to meet the gorgeous woman with the beautiful name.”
Laughing, she shook hands with Caleb. God, she bet he kept the woman on their toes with his easy charm and boy next door looks. “Nice to meet you too, Caleb.”
“I think that’s enough,” Dante growled moving her closer to his side.
“Hey, I was only flirting with her,” Caleb said. “No harm done. I saw your ‘keep away’ body language way across the room. I wasn’t trying anything, I swear.”
“Don’t even think about it. Amara isn’t available for your flirting, not with me around and especially not without me at her side.”
She heard the anger in Dante’s voice and touched him on the chest. She didn’t come here tonight to see him get into a fight with his best friend over nothing. “Honey, it’s okay. I wasn’t offended by Caleb and you shouldn’t be either,” she said, trying to soothe his ego.
Dante gazed at her and she felt some of the tension as it left his tall body. “If you’re okay with Caleb’s crazy ass nonsense, then I guess I shouldn’t let it bother me either,” he said.
“Hey, man. I’m sorry,” Caleb apologized. “I was only being—”
“I know,” Dante said. “I overreacted and I shouldn’t have. I know Amara is mine, but I just had to set some boundaries for you.”
Men
, Amara thought as she listened while Dante staked his ‘claim’ on her like everyone in the bar couldn’t see they were together with all the kissing and hugging they were doing earlier when they walked through the front door. She wanted to be upset with him, but a part of her was secretly touched.
His actions showed how much he cared about her and their relationship. However, she still was able to take care and speak up for herself. Dante had to back off with being so overprotective. It wasn’t like she was going anywhere.
“Amara, are you ready to meet the rest of my friends?” he asked, interrupting her thoughts.
“Baby, I’m up for whatever you are ready to do,” she answered. “Honestly, I’ve been waiting all day for this.”
“Don’t worry about anything. I know they’re going to love the hell out of you.”
Grabbing her by the hand, Dante went around Griffin and Caleb taking her towards the back of the bar. She couldn’t deny the anticipation was killing her, but it was going to work out for the best and if they didn’t like her, it was their problem and not hers. She was here for Dante, not them.

Standing next to the long table, Dante watched as everyone took in Amara after all of the introductions had been made minutes ago. He wished someone would say something because they were staring her down like she was on display at a museum. He could almost read their thoughts and they were wondering if she was good enough for him. Yet, he already determined a while ago that she was more than a woman of the month for him.
She satisfied his needs in ways no other woman had and it was more than sexual. Her ability to captivate all of his senses instead of two or maybe three at the least was very important to him. It meant more to him than Amara would ever know.
“Dante, I see why you haven’t been by

in a while. You’ve been spending all of your time with Amara. Has she found out all of your faults yet?” Jim teased. “I mean you can only keep hiding them for so long before she realizes how much you have wrong with you.”
“Honey, stop picking on Dante,” Keira cut in. “I think him and Amara are adorable together. She’s the breath of fresh air that all of us had been wishing he found for himself.”
“Jim, stop messing with me. I could have told Keira a lot of things about you too. If I remember correctly, we both did a lot of wild and crazy things when we were younger.”
“Hey now, don’t try to throw me underneath the bus now after I’m married because I would deny every single thing that came out of your mouth,” Jim replied. “I only thought it was fair I warned a girl as pretty as Amara how you really are. She might want to do a little better than an old man like you.”
“Mr. Russell, I’m quite happy with Dante. He’s absolutely the man I’ve been looking for, so I don’t think I need to find anyone else,” Amara said, jumping right in to defend him.
His best friend’s wide-eyed gaze swung back and forth between them and then a pleased look slowly passed over Jim’s face. Amara wasn’t aware of it, but her little comment just gained his buddy’s respect. He liked when people stood up to him and voiced their opinions.
