Jealousy was an ugly emotion that did not
suit Conall well. So he placed it aside and focused on his
Addie.

She was sweet within her arms. She was as
light as a bird’s feather, her lips tasted of sweets, her skin
smelled of flowers, and she moaned like a lover’s song.

Her perfect caressing hands wandered his
chest in a tentative exploration. Her innocent touch sent his head
to spinning. She was a delicious woman whom he could not wait to
have, but wait; he shall. He wanted their wedding night to be pure
and perfect, and to accomplish that he wanted her first time to be
within their marriage bed. Any children they may conceive would be
made within the vows.

Kissing her and starting his own exploration,
he found the many planes and curves of her lovely form
extraordinary.

He had many a woman in his arms in the past,
but he had never felt as he felt now. All the other women from his
past faded to bodies in the dark of night and only he, and Addie
existed. It was as if it was all practice for her and this
moment.

Pulling his lips from hers, he said, “Ach,
lass, ye make me crazed with a hunger fer ye. We will wait until
our wedding night fer full hand fasting, bu' I need ye tae ease me
as I ease ye.”

“Oh, Conall, I need and want you so very
badly,” she replied.

Not nearly as much as he needed her and that
thought alone moved him to place her on a table next to some old
antiques, including a very large marble statue.

While her breathing was labored, he could see
the lust building within her eyes as his hands made fast work of
removing her pants. She was once again bare and wet to his feasting
gaze.

Running his fingers up and down her pale
thigh, he heard her breathing once again hitch inside her breast as
he came very close to her pussy, which made her legs tighten and
her breathing accelerated.

“Conall, please…” she begged.

“Angeal, I ken wha’ ye want, bu' I want tae
savor ye.”

“We only have a little while left, please let
me love you as well,” she replied.

Feeling her urgency, he picked her back up
and placed her upon the floor. He laid opposite of her and threw
her leg over his shoulder, grabbed her ass, and buried his face in
her cunt.

Hearing her yelp, she greedily grabbed his
cock and placed as much of him as she could in her mouth as her
hand worked the rest of his penis.

Moaning deeply within his throat at the feel
her mouth upon him, he worked twice as hard to bring her to a
shattering orgasm before he came in her mouth.

He wanted to taste her cum and feel her pulse
on his tongue. Conall was deeply in love with this woman who was
currently suckling his cock as he suckled her twat. They played
each other to a perfect tune. Their sensual dance was wrought with
the up most of love and passion. It was a beautiful moment that
Conall wanted to remember forever.

Her clever tongue and mouth were working
their magic upon him. He almost came clean out of skin as her wee
hands cupped his ballocks.

Feeling his spine quiver, he gasped, “Ye,
lass, be vera clever.”

Redoubling his efforts he placed his thumb to
swollen clitoris and inserted his tongue directly into her wet
snatch. Feeling her hips grind against his face and hand, he then
inserted a finger into her slit and found her tight moist pussy
contract against him. It was enough to set her orgasm off and bring
a curse from his mouth, as he felt his cum spill forth.

Her clever mouth suckled him into completion
as he fed from her pussy until he wrung out every last drop of cum
from her.

Still shaking, her grabbed her wee body up to
his chest and held her sweat covered torso against his own.

As their breathing returned to normal, she
spoke, “I love you, Conall. Come what may, we will fight through
this together. I love you.”

“An' I ye, lass. I lo’e ye, sa vera
much.”

Feeling contented with the knowledge that his
Addie was well and truly his once again, he felt light of heart and
full of spirit. Now the only question left to him was, how was he
to marry his Addie if he was cursed to stay within the walls of
this home?

****

Addie felt her heated skin cooling in the
night air, and the feeling of dread was sinking into her soul. He
was about to leave her once more. She wanted to cry at rything I
can about this house. About what happened and if it is cursthe
injustice of her situation. She wanted to stay within her lover's
arms.

“Why are ye upset, angeal?”

“You are about to leave me once more, and I
can’t stand the thought. I want to hold you throughout the night. I
want to awaken with you every morning by my side. I am tired of
feeling so alone,” she replied.

Seeing the true concern within his eyes, he
replied, “I always be with ye. I be watchin’ o’er ye when ye are
within the house. I feel jest as helpless when ye leave the manor.
When ye are in repose, I be with ye. Jest remembers tha' I be with
ye always. Donna’ think when I leave ye in ‘ere, tha' I am no’
followin’ ye tae yer room.”

Feeling a bit better about his concern, she
leaned into him and kissed his lips sweetly, just as he disappeared
once again into the walls.

Not wanting to show her fiancée that she was
a wimp and missing him. She stood, dressed, and walked back to her
room, where she undressed, and then slid beneath the covers. She
felt something cold slither under the covers with her.

She smiled and said, “I love you, Conall. I
will find a way to set you free.”

Hours passed and Addie’s dreams were filled
with longing, crying, and terror. She was in the room, watching as
Conall was cursed into the home. She felt the anguish down to her
very soul. She wanted to kill the man whose face was concealed in
the darkness. All she saw was a winking of light from an object on
his person, from the little light from a lamp in the corner. She
tried desperately hard to see the man, but as always, she awoke
before she could.

When the light from the sky replaced the inky
blackness in her room, she did not reach for her phone. She knew
what was in store for her, a call from her publisher and a call
from the fruit company. She was in no mood to deal with either.

So for the first time in her life and career
she ignored her phone and walked into the kitchen to find Missus
King cleaning up breakfast.

“Nothing for me Missus King. I am leaving the
house again to go to your statistics office. I need to know who
owned this property before the Campbell’s,” she explained.

“Hie o' with ye then, gel. Howbeit, take
these please, ye be skinny enough.”

She handed her a delicious looking apple.
Addie took it and moved to the front door. Feeling overtly
cautious, she opened it and looked about. She ran for her car and
enfolded herself into it after she fully inspected the interior and
the undercarriage.

Addie made her way into town with a new sense
of purpose. Her dreams spoke volumes, and she needed to know what
they meant. Internally, she had some idea, but it was madness to
think about the possibility.

She made her way to the tent and found it to
be empty. Feeling confused and nervous; she poked about the room
and found nothing amiss aside from the fact the women were nowhere
to be found.

“Damn,” she whispered.

Feeling out of sorts, she sat at the table
and began her spells. After a few moments, she sighed and
straightened her spine. She needed to focus and bring about her
natural skills.

She was in the attic dressed as a well-bred
woman of the nineteenth century, she was crying. Beating her fists
against the chest of a man!

She focused her power and finally saw the
man’s face. He had a head of dark black hair and a scar running
across his left red eye and cheek. He was lean and tall in stature.
Suddenly, something winked at her in the light, something in his
hand.

However, just as suddenly as she was there,
she was no longer there. She was back within the tent. Feeling an
overwhelming urge to flee, she ran to her car and drove quickly to
the building that held the information she needed.

After hours of proving she was the current
owner and a little persuasion. She could see who owned the
property.

1800 the property was titled in the name of
Angus McIntosh. Property foreclosed on by the King in 1805 and
resold to Lord Author Michael Campbell 1807.

“Oh my, God, it was all about the house. It
has always been about the house!” she exclaimed.

Crunching her wheels as she left the building
she ran back to the home and slammed the door shut.

“Conall! Conall!”

Hearing nothing and feeling suddenly paranoid
she looked around the room for the King couple. Hearing a creek in
the floorboards behind her, she turned just as a flashing and
blinding pain hit the side of her head. She fell upon the ground
and felt the blackness engulf her. Her last thought was of
Conall.

Groaning in pain, Addie sat up and found she
was in the attic, and night had fallen. Placing her fingers to her
scalp, she came away with sticky wet blood.

“I see you are awake, Addie.”

Hearing the familiar voice she turned to find
Steven standing in the corner with the king couple tied up and
gagged.

Trying to move to the couple, she heard a
click and saw a gun in Steven’s hand.

“Move and they will get a bullet between
their eyes,” he warned.

Addie stopped her movements and asked, “Why,
Steven?”

“Why indeed. Isn’t that always the question?
Why? Why? Why?!” he yelled the last.

Addie jumped from her seated position on the
floor.

He then smiled and said, “Why? Let’s see
shall we. All I ever wanted was to love you and for you to love
me.”

Addie looked into his eyes and asked
“Really?”

She watched as he tapped his ring finger on
the gun and felt a sudden shocking cold and then hot heat enter her
body. The ring! She realized it was the winking object on the man’s
hand in her dream. Steven was McIntosh! It all made sense now. His
want to love her, and his willingness to keep her pure. He wanted
to finish the curse and claim the home and the estate for his
own.

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Mister
McIntosh,” she stated slowly.

Watching the color ebb from his face, and
then a crazed smile replaced his sneer, he laughed.

Suddenly, without warning he ran his hand
over his face, and his appearance totally changed.

Black hair replaced his light hair. A long
scar came into view as the rest of his clothing was replaced with a
kilt.

“How did ye ken, Addie,” he asked.

Chapter Thirteen

His new accent along with his brand-new
appearance set her back. She knew Steven, but she did not know this
man.

I have been having dreams about you and the
night Conall disappeared. What did you do, want Beatrice to take
Conall away from Addie, so you could regain the home by marrying
Addie yourself, and somehow claim title to the land? That would
have never worked, Gregory would have inherited.”

“Aye, only if he were alive tae inherit,” he
inserted.

Sudden understanding lit Addie’s eyes, and he
must have noticed, for he said, “Aye, now ye see, ye would ha'e
inherited and I bein’ yer husband would ha'e the land back ‘twere
it needed tae be.”

Feeling sick inside, she said, “You mean if
you married, Addie. She jumped from that window and fouled up your
plans. You cannot complete the curse now. She is still in this
house.”

McIntosh slapped the gun against his thigh
and began to laugh hysterically.

“Ye canna’ be tha' daf', lass. Donna’ ye ken?
Has the MacLaren no’ told ye yet? Ye is Addie. Ye is the
reincarnated soul of Addie. Ye is right. I do need ye to complete
the curse an' ye will, an' we shall live in happiness after I work
me magic upon you an' the home. I will sa enjoy getting ye with me
bairn.”

Closing her eyes, she knew he was right. It
all made complete sense now. The dreams, her feeling of déjà vu,
the way she loved Conall so completely, and the way she felt about
Scotland, as if she were home.

She gave a little thought to Conall omission.
She had many of her own, and she had a psycho to deal with.

So to claim time for herself, she asked, “So
I am Addie, the original Addie. All right, what are you to do then?
Finish the curse and subsequently brainwash me into submission? You
do not need to do any of that. In fact, I will give you the lands
and the title, if you lift the curse and let us all leave in peace.
I am not interested in the home.”

“Ye, donna’ understand. It be abou’
principle. MacLaren refused me Beatrice, jest because ‘twere no’
his baby, doesna’ negate the fact tha' me family had honor, an' he
stripped it away from us. An' donna’ mistake the fact tha' I didna’
want ye. Ye was a breath o’ sunshine, an' I wanted ye from the time
ye were little. I wanted ye an' the house an' tae punish the
Highlander fer havin’ yer heart an' yer parents fer stealin’ me
land!” he said, bellowing the last word.

Sighing internally, she replied, “What about
the rest of my family? They are here are they not?”

“Aye, they be in the walls. The curse brough'
upon them, fetched their soul back tae this home, tae li'e in agony
fer the rest o’ eternity. When ye were thrown from the window after
MacLaren was cursed, ye made it sa I couldna’ complete the curse. I
‘ave been awaitin' ye fer a vera long time, lass. I had tae wait
fer yer warlock uncle tae die tae step foot onta the property. The
ol’ bugger placed ‘is own spells on the land. Ye lef’ me tae soon,
gel; we were tae come back here as a married couple an’ complete my
spell. As soon as the curse is completed the home will be mine, an'
the Highlander will be no longer li'e durin’ the witchin’ hour. His
soul will be consumed like all the others.”
