“I am mad, but there’s no
reason to be angry with you.” She brushed a kiss across his lips.
“When I agreed to marry you, my family became yours and your family
became mine. If your brother comes to me tomorrow with a problem,
I’ll do everything in my power to help him.”

“Let’s get married next
weekend.”

“September is a beautiful
month.”

“I don’t want to
wait!”

“Are you saying I’m not
worth waiting for?”

He laughed. “You’re really
going to make me wait until September, aren’t you?”

“I sure am.” She kissed
him softly. “I love you, Cody. I’m so glad I rear-ended
you.”

“I never thought I’d say
this to anyone, but you can rear-end me anytime!”
