She cupped his face, rubbing her thumbs along his cheekbones and stared deeply into his eyes. “I’ve lived here my whole life and I hate the people here. The town, the surrounding land is gorgeous, but the pride despises me.” She ignored his rolling growl. “Home isn’t a place, Marcus. For me, home is you. Just you.”

With those words, any thoughts of food were discarded. Especially when he claimed her on the kitchen table, and then the counter, and then there was the hallway as they tried to make it back upstairs…
