Isabelle looked down at him as if she’d never seen him,

seen him, until now. Happiness glinted in his eyes and a smile that was almost shy curved his lips. He was so utterly open, she looked right into him.

,” she whispered, closing the distance between them. “I love you too, Mac. Because I
