This new documentary, six years in the making, takes an in-depth look at what is wrong with the news media in the United States and what we can do about it. The film highlights the work of thirty-seven-year veteran media democracy organization Project Censored and their commitment to providing solutions through media literacy and critical thinking education, while celebrating the best in underreported, independent journalism. Therein lies the antidote to top-down, managed news propaganda and censorship so pervasive in the US today.
