Epilogue
After Shayla and Taj attended all the funerals for King and his squad, they both were questioned by the FBI and local police, and cleared of any involvement. Shayla and Taj knew if any one of them said anything close to the real story, their asses were next. It was already bad that they both had to move out of Oklahoma City to keep the rest of Flamboyant's goons at bay. The rest of King's people let it go and continued to get their money how they could now that their King was no longer. Tippi's wolves were another story. They were hunting for them both and needed revenge in the worst way. That was the only way Tippi would have wanted it, like a true killa.
Aunt Doris May buried her only nephew, who was the only child she could call her own. It was hard for her to look at Shayla when she showed up for the funeral, but she knew the life her nephew led and only regretted not opening her mouth when Shayla and King were in her living room that day rehashing their past.
A few days after the funeral, Shayla had stopped by her house, but she refused to open the door. She wasn't ready to face the reason her nephew was murdered. Doris May continued to medicate herself and looked after King's kids as much as she could to keep a piece of her nephew close.
Lawanda was a wreck. She had lost the father of her children and the love of her life. Although she never knew about Shayla or Tippi, she had heard rumors, and they confirmed her suspicions. After a couple of weeks of not working, she finally went back to work. At first it was hard to go back to normal, but she had to for her kids. As she continued to push forward, she met someone who filled the void King had left.
As for Toni and Charlie, they searched for their kingpins of Oklahoma City, but this time they decided to lay all the cards on the table. Both north and south side heads would know of each other to avoid any and all incidents that could be deadly. Toni and Charlie kept the money as their number one priority and made sure the new kingpins of Oklahoma City kept it that way, no matter the situation that arose.
